So I need Will’s story now, because Maren’s was just so cute I sped through it too fast and I don’t want to leave this world yet. I managed to finish both books one and two from this series in only a few days, which should tell you this new series of Jewel E. Ann’s is just amazing. Maren who we met in From Air, the first book in the series, ends up falling in love with Ozzy who is a single dad. Ozzy is a fun and slightly goofy character who has a ten year old daughter who is afraid to ride in cars. Of course because this is a book by Jewel E. Ann you know there is more trauma hiding behind the scenes. Make sure you check out this series, From Air comes out in November and this book, From Nowhere, comes out in March.

Another winner from Jewel! Even though Ozzy, his mother in law, and daughter frustrated me at times, this still tugged at my heartstrings. Maren deserves the world and I especially loved the epilogue.

What a heartbreakingly beautiful story. From Nowhere had me swooning, crying, laughing and falling in love.
Maren and Ozzy’s journey was beautiful. There were no misunderstandings. They talked through things like adults and had the most beautiful, meaningful moments.
Ozzy is such a wonderful father. While he was dealing with his own grief he never faltered in his love for Lola or his duty as a father. Never pushed and let her go at her own pace.
Maren is such a beautiful character. Intelligent, accomplished, strong, independent, and loving. She has such a huge heart and has so much love to give. A perfect role model for a young, traumatized and impressionable Lola.
There were also characters in this book I found myself frustrated with but when I stopped to think how I would react if I were in their shoes, I totally understood where they were coming from.
I loved getting caught up with Fitz, Jamie and Will! Speaking of Will, I can not wait for his story next!!! Once again, thank you Jewel for another incredible story!!

Another great story by Jewel E. Ann filled with banter, angst, sexy times, love and an HEA!! You will never go wrong reading anything written by her!

Who knew Ozzy would chip away at my heart starting when he handed Maren some t.p. when she was using the men’s room? He has got to be the biggest golden retriever ever. The way he loves his daughter Lola and bikes everywhere with her is the sweetest thing I have ever read. My heart could barely take it. If you want to go back to your teenage years and remember sneaking around and hiding in closets, this would be a great book to reminisce with. It also has a great message of resilience, love and strength. All three of the main characters have to be brave in some way and take on their fears and they do it brilliantly. This was my first Jewel E. Ann book, but I’ll be reading more in the future.
Thank you Montlake, NetGalley & Jewel E. Ann for providing me with an electronic advanced readers copy of this book.

From Nowhere is the standalone second book in the Wildfire series. If you enjoyed From Air, you will absolutely adore this sequel. I absolutely fell in love with Maren and Ozzy and I really enjoyed the heartfelt romance between them. If you are a romance reader, you will absolutely devour From Nowhere! I highly look forward to reading more installments in the Wildfire series!

I haven't read the previous book in this series, but once I read the blurb of this one, I had to give it a try. Aviation is one of my favourite things, and it hits differently every time I find it in a book. I liked the role aviation had in this one, especially because both main characters were involved in it.
Now, to the plot, it was really interesting and enjoyable, with the daughter that won't ride in a car anymore, to the sneaking around of the adults. I have to admit it lowered the intensity after the first half of it and it lost my interest a bit, but it got right back towards the end.
Overall, I would say it's a good, relaxing book that will keep you entertained.

Book 1 in this series comes out NEXT MONTH and let me tell you, I loved the first one.
I DEVOURED book 2! This was so good! I laughed out loud, my tears got watery (sorry, not a big crier) and I was so moved.
Jewel E. Ann is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. She has such an ability to take real life situations and trauma and create the most beautiful and moving stories.
This had one of the best awkward meet-cutes I've ever read and I was rooting for Maren and Ozzy from the start. Ozzy's interactions with his 10 year old, Lola, had me laughing out loud.
I loved every moment of this.

From Nowhere, book #2 of the Wildfire series written by Jewel E. Ann. JEA is one of my VERY FAVORITE AUTHORS and this is now one of my VERY FAVORITE BOOKS! You won't be able to keep from falling in love with the budding relationship of Maren and Ozzy. They are both so likeable and the relationship that Ozzy has with Lola is really heartwarming. The fact that he has totally changed his lifestyle to cater to Lola's anxiety... well, you will find all of that out when you read this amazing book!! It's full of sweet, steamy, sneaky, sad and mournful parts as well as a connection that we all dream of having. And, don't tell anyone, but Ozzy has some sexy secrets that he hides behind that "good ole boy" facade. He is a bit of a stud! It's a new DON'T MISS SERIES by the incredible writer JEWEL E ANN!

This is my first book by this author and it definitely won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait to read more. The pace and the story kept me intrigued. Thank you so much for the ARC!

I am seriously going to miss this friend group when this series is over. I love how the characters are all in their mid thirties I feel like the Romance world is missing more books with characters of that age range.
These characters have so much depth and range to them and you see their growth throughout the book it's just so beautiful to watch. There is a mention of death of a spouse, brother, parent, on page ; alcohol abuse and mental health on page so watch out for that but I feel like it was done respectfully. There is a good amount of spice as well.
Thanks to Netgalley and Montlake for the ARC in exchange for the honest review, as always all words are my own.

Great, great, great book! I absolutely loved the banter between Ozzy and Maren and how Maren treated Lola. This is classic Jewel E Ann and just another reminder why she’s an auto-click author!

This story was so moving and emotional—it touched my heart!! ❤️ I absolutely loved Ozzy and Maren together!! And don’t forget Lola—she stole the show! I really loved reading this beautiful love story (Ozzy is the perfect book boyfriend!), but it wasn’t just another love story—it was about overcoming grief and sorrow in the face of unimaginable trauma and rising above it all. 🥲

Jewel E. Ann NEVER disappoints. She writes with such a depth of understanding of the quirkiness of people and the intracacies of life and love. She does so with grace and an incredible wit. No one does a meet cute like she does. Her FMC are always so spunky and sassy. Her MC are incredibly swoonworthy. The banter between the two is off the charts. With this one, you add in little Lola, who is definitely 10 going on 20, and you have pure gold.

Ozzy and Maren Omg These 2 adults sneaking around like kids ..So freaking cute and Damn Ozzy got game. I really did not like The MIL sorry how long should he wait till its ok and his guilt was enough.
I did think when Lola told Maren about the accident I was thinking she was responsible but I was wrong lol
How they met was hysterical and after Ozzy with the flowers and notes SWOON. They both fell hard and fast and trying to take it slow for Lola

I Love Love this book! It’s like a warm hug on a cold day.
I love that Ozzy is slightly awkward but not awkward enough that he doesn’t save Maren with her bathroom emergency. He gave up his dream of flying to focus on his his daughter Lola after her mom dies in a tragic accident.
Ozzy will do anything to help his daughter cope with the trauma that she experienced being in the car accident that killed her mom. Lola will not get in a car and won’t allow Ozzy to get in one either. He’s patient and meeting Maren
Opens his heart in ways he doesn’t see coming. I gotta say
His proposal is epic😊❤️

Such an amazing, beautiful, heart wrenching love story.
I have totally fallen in love with Lola!!!! Oh yeah Ozzy too. I already loved Maren from book one.
This is a love story of patience, acceptance, a love story of parenting and friendship. Tia killed me and then made me cry. Thd characters, the story lines Jewel gives us are seriously always incredible.
I found this one, to be a more calmer read for Jewels book, which I greatly appreciated 😀
Ozzy and Marens love story is unexpected at a time when both characters needed something more. Thier banter was great, Lola's one liners and unexpected input was perfect. I find Jewel writes the best children in her stories. Lola's journey was heart breaking and joyous.
As I finished this one I was thinking Jewel always puts us back together, as I was crying 😆.
I want to say so much but it will spoil and Jewels books are best to go into blind. If you loved From Air, you will love From Nowhere.
#netgalley thanks!!!

If you like single dad/widower romance with a heroine who rocks his world, From Nowhere just might be for you.
Let’s start with the things that this book does well. The world building is strong, the tension in the relationships feels authentic, and the bond between Ozzy and Lola is beautiful. Maren is strong in her convictions and doesn’t change who she is to fit into Ozzy and Lola’s lives, and yet both Ozzy and Maren manage to meet each other in the middle.
I enjoyed the secondary characters in the book as well, and would be interested in reading more from this world.
There were a couple of elements that didn’t work for me personally, but that are typically parts of the widower trope (see also: former in-laws who shame the MMC for wanting to move on). There was also another moment tied up in the climax of the story that didn’t quite work for me, but that’s just because it wasn’t my personal preference.
Overall, this was a story I knocked out in one sitting that made me feel lots of feelings.
