At first it took me a bit to get into this one. I thought it was the holidays and also I didn’t see the need or purpose for a story in a story. But once Kate’s story started to unfold, I didn’t want to put it down. I did have my theories about “where” Lena was but I never thought the author would go that direction. It was a bittersweet yet beautiful ending. This was my first Wendy Lou Jones book and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
