This series is like a huge warm hug. Revisiting Dream Harbour is like catching up with old friends. This book focuses on Iris, who we first met in The Christmas Tree Farm. Archer arrives in town after discovering he is a father to a little girl called Olive. He left his successful career as a renowned chef in France. Many of your favourite characters from earlier books are around and it still manages to be poignant and such a good time. It is so much more than a romance as it explores friendships, families, emotions, all within the joy of a storybook small town. I found the town meetings particularly hilarious. The narrator is perfect in every way, she perfectly conveys the emotions of all the characters throughout.

I want to thank NetGalley for approving me for an ALC of this book.

The Dream Harbour series is definitely a comfort read for me. I know what I'm going to get with these books. A romance story, filled with some great tropes, emotional torment and a cracking nosey town! The towns meetings are still some of my favourite parts and definitely give me flashbacks to the Gilmore Girls.

Archer and Iris story has all the angst and slow burn you could want. When you add delightful Olive into the mix you can't help but want to see them become a family unit. It also didn't do anything for my pancake cravings, I have a sweet enough tooth as it is but you can bet that pancakes will be had this weekend!

A delightful and entertaining read, filled with humour and heart.
