Wow what does Abby put in her books? A wonderful emotional read. Full of real life, romance and hope. I fell in love with Samantha and Xavier.
An easy 5 stars!!! I will read anything Abby writes!

I really enjoyed this! Always a joy to read Abby Jiminez. Did not disappoint! Lovely feel good romance thank you Abby

as always with abby jimenez, this is a work of art. dementia is such a difficult thing to experience in a family member. it is heartbreaking and jimenez writes this story with such care and beauty. the romance delivers and i just fell so deeply for these characters. everything about their romance was a boost of serotonin and faith in true love. abby jimenez is a true talent and i am so lucky to live in the time where she is writing books. 10/10 infinity stars.

‘Say You’ll Remember Me’ by Abby Jiminez was an amazing romance. I was giggling, I was crying, I was kicking my feet. Yes that combo in that order. The novel follows a night to remember in vet Xavier and marketing manager/cat lover Samantha’s life.
The characters were complicated and real. The setting was atmospheric. There is not a single point to this book that I didn’t enjoy.
I have never read a novel that has such good representation of dementia, it was heart wrenching at times and beautiful at others. The complicated family dynamics in this novel was just another way of Jiminez showing us how good she is at writing love.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance whether that’s reading, watching or being in it. This book was so good.
An easy 5 star. Thank you #netgalley for this pre-release.

3 / 5 ⭐
Firstly, I loved Samantha as a character, especially her backstory. Her mother’s struggle with dementia was heartbreaking, and I appreciated how the story explored the family’s perspective. It was also nice to see their little cameo in Just for the Summer.
As a huge fan of the author’s previous books, I went in with high expectations—I didn’t even read the blurb, fully expecting another 5-star read. But something was missing for me.
What didn’t work were the excessive TikTok and ACOTAR references. The constant mention of trends felt like they would age poorly, and in the first few chapters, the male lead was compared to Rhysand so often that it became hard to take seriously.
The storytelling also felt too insta-lovey for my taste. The book’s structure made it feel like we got to know the relationship before truly understanding the characters, which made the first half feel too fast-paced and left me struggling to connect with them.
That said, there were some humorous moments, and the way it handled family trauma and dementia was beautifully and delicately done.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC.

I am quite simply a mess. Why did no one tell me Abby Jimenez books were going to destroy me? This was nothing short of beautiful.
This was a tender story full of love in all forms. It was beautiful. Every page was crafted with so much love and care I honestly do not have a bad word to say.
This book has made Abby Jimenez an auto buy author for me and I’m immediately going to read her back catalogue.

A masterpiece. A love letter to making every memory count.
This book centres around Samantha, our FMC, who knows her condiment of choice and isn’t afraid to tell us. And Xavier, our MMC, who is literally likened to Rhysand. What more could we want?! Oh yes. He’s a vet.
They meet at the wrong time and the book really focuses on the hardship of this issue and the real life responsibilities both have outside of falling in love.
Heartbreak is addressed throughout but not the type we think of as romance readers.
Abby has given her readers a beautiful story that is quite simply unforgettable. Exactly how Lisa would have wanted it.

Abby Jimenez has a gift for writing that is truly hard to put into words. This book was heartwarming as well as heartbreaking. It made me laugh, made me cry and made me feel so deeply for the characters that I forgot I was reading. It was beautifully written and a perfect portrayal of the struggles many people face, and the way love can guide you through it. So much more than just a romance, although the romance was divine. A perfect read.

4.5
I absolutely adored this book. I loved the two main characters and the fact that one of them was a vet. I enjoyed seeing how the relationships between all of the characters progressed throughout the book and it was the perfect mix of light hearted ness and serious subjects.

This was my first Abby Jiminez book and it definitely won’t be my last!
I have heard about the emotional turmoil that Abby leaves her readers in, and my goodness I’m glad I was warned! She has a special talent for making you laugh one minute and then be absolutely sobbing the next 😭 It was an emotional roller coaster, but such a beautiful journey!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
Tropes:
- Meet Cute
- Forced Proximity
- Grumpy x Sunshine
- Cinnamon Roll Hero
- Hurt and Comfort
- Love at first sight

My favourite read of 2025 so far & my favourite Abby Jimenez book.
Just a truly beautiful love story. I was completely obsessed with both of the main characters. Their love was so believable and epic and they communicated so beautifully throughout every challenge that they faced.
“It was so natural being with her, I wondered if loving her was a contract that I’d signed in a former life” 😭
“The best moments don’t have to be big to be forever” 💕💕💕

This was my first by Abby Jimenez and I totally get the hype! She is a romcom queen! I couldn't help smiling through most parts of the story.
The story is of Samantha and Xavier who had one of the best meet cutes I've ever read! They both go on an unexpected date that leaves them wanting for more. However, dating each other won't be easy at all. Will they make it work? Read to find out.
It's a classic grumpy meets sunshine trope and it's so well written. All the characters are extremely loveable and you can relate with them on some level. Inthorougjly enjoyed reading this and will definitely be picking up more by Jimenez!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ebook in return of an honest review.

I kicked off my reading year with Abby Jimenez's newest book, Say You'll Remember Me. Jimenez quickly shot to the top of my auto buy authors list a couple of years ago, and ever since I have been scrambling to read everything she writes.
Technically her books are romance books, and they're definitely marketed as such, but I would argue that they lean towards literary fiction a lot of the time due to the heavy subject matters. Say You'll Remember Me is no different.
This book follows a main character whose mother has dementia, which not only has caused personality and behavioral changes, but it has led to her not remembering her daughter. The other main character comes from an abusive family - disowned parents who often check up on him and take the credit for his successes even though they had no hand in them. It's heavy stuff.
I wish Jimenez had leaned into these characters' situations even more. I loved her previous books so much because the characters' backgrounds played such a huge role in the current story, whereas in this book things felt a tiny bit detached. I also felt slightly detached from the characters because I didn't get a good enough grasp on their personalities and interests. They were completely hooked on each other and they love animals, yes, but I'm not sure about everything else. It felt a little surface level compared to what I'm used to from this author.
I did love this book though (apart from the Rhysand references) and I'm so pleased to have read another Abby Jimenez book. She always throws all the emotions at us and gives us an intense story, often with lots of animals, funny situations, and so much heart ❤️

And the spice was ???? Where ?
Ok this book was beautiful, Abby Jimenez’ work is beautiful, this cover is beautiful but this one didn’t quite scratch the normal itch. Don’t get me wrong - compared to other romance books it was a WOW but yours truly and just for the summer have my heart.

Say you'll remember me was an emotional read with solid ideas. Xavier is the typical romantic lead that you'd expect from Abby - kind, thoughtful and willing to literally make himself ill to bend over backwards for the FMC. His backstory felt well developed, yet I sometimes felt it a little lacking in his pov where instead of getting more out of his side we just got the same refrain of wanting to be with Samantha but being unable to.
There was something really beautiful about the life lived in colour vs grey simile that was used as a parallel for both the relationship and Dementia. The dementia storyline was hard hitting and it was interesting seeing the pov of the family.
One of the things that sadly made me enjoy this book less was all the tiktok and ACATOR references. They seemed a bit too on the nose for me - I'm used to the Nadia Cakes references in every book but this just felt a little forced with how many repetitions there was of the mmc looking like Rhys.
While I did enjoy this book, I do think it lacked some of the heart that Abby’s previous books had.

Thank you to NetGalley and Little Brown Book Group UK, Piatkus, for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book introduces readers to a witty and hilarious FMC and a brooding, soft-spoken veterinarian MMC who meet in the most unexpected way—arguing over a kitten’s lack of a bumhole. Yes, you read that right. From the very first page, the writing is fantastic, filled with emotional depth, vulnerability, and a love so tangible it practically leaps off the page.
The characters are beautifully layered, with struggles that feel incredibly real and relatable. I found myself wholeheartedly rooting for them, hoping they would get the epic love story they deserved. Jimenez perfectly captures the idea of love through acts of service and the sentiment that ‘to be loved is to be seen’. From Xavier making the perfect playlist for Samantha to the small, thoughtful gestures—opening car doors, buying her favorite coffee creamer and snacks, lending her his hoodie, and even “honouring her tiny allegiances and petty vendettas” — this book showcases love in its most genuine and heartfelt form.
As a longtime fan of Abby Jimenez, I continue to be in awe of her ability to craft stories that resonate so deeply. Her writing speaks to my soul, putting into words feelings I’ve never quite been able to articulate. While this wasn’t my favorite of her books, it was still a wonderful addition to her discography, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d highly recommend it and give it a solid 4/5 stars!

This was my first Abby Jimenez book and it definitely won't be my last her writing is absolutely incredible and I binged this, not only did I fall in love with the characters and how relatable they were but it had me laughing out loud at points and then crying at others. I will be reading any book with the same love languages at Xavier from now on!
Main points I loved about this book was the fact it was -
•Dual POV
•The MMCs love language was acts of service and gift giving
•Complicated Family with both main chapters
‘She poured creamer into her coffee. She liked the blue vanilla ones. I made a mental note.’ - as soon as I read this I thought of the quote to be loved is to be seen.
A huge thank you to NetGalley and little brown book group for the advance copy

She gazed at me." That there is nothing more beautiful than being a witness to someone's life. To know them inside and out and be with them through everything, share the same memories. Memories are everything. I want that.''
'A witness to your life?'
'Yeah;' ............
This was everything I hoped for and more-an emotional, heartfelt journey that completely *wrecked* me in the best way. From the moment I opened this book, I was utterly captivated. It pulled me in so completely that I lost track of time, unable to stop reading. It had a magnetic pull-one that made me *laugh out loud* in some moments and left me absolutely *sobbing* in others.
As someone who has survived a long-distance relationship, this book felt *personal*. It captured the emotional rollercoaster of love, distance, and sacrifice so perfectly. At its heart, this is a story about love in all its forms-romantic, familial, and the kind of love that teaches us forgiveness and healing. Through its pages, we see the struggles of keeping a relationship alive across the miles, the heartache of fractured family ties, and the bittersweet pain of loving someone who no longer remembers you.
And then there’s Xavier Rush, the *definition* of perfection. A veterinarian with Greek god vibes? Say no more. The sparks between him and Samantha are *instant*, but their first meeting doesn’t go as planned. Thanks to her rescue kitten playing matchmaker, she gives him a second chance, leading to one of the most swoon-worthy first dates ever. But will it be their last? 👀 I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say their journey is one of longing, sacrifice, and the extraordinary lengths we go to for the ones we love.
Abby Jimenez has an *incredible* gift for storytelling, and she used it to perfection here. Every character-main and side-felt so real, like people I *knew* and cared about. Xavier and Sam’s emotions, struggles, and personalities were vividly brought to life, making me feel *everything* right along with them. Also, can we talk about the *SJM references*? Because Abby really said, *"Here’s a hero who gives Rhysand energy,"* and I couldn’t agree more!
This book was raw, emotional, and *so* beautifully written. It left me thinking about it long after I turned the last page. If you love stories that make you *feel*-that make you *laugh, cry, and ache* in the best way-this one is an absolute *must-read*. 💙
PS: Abby, I saw Chris is a Pharmacist, are we going to get a Pharmacist book soon?? Pretty please??

Abby always knows how to get me with her books and this one was no different! I loved banter between the two characters. I also loved that Xavier was a vet as it used to be a dream of mine to be one! The grumpy x sunshine trope was done so well in this and I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this book. Thank you so much for the early e-arc!

Abby NEVER misses, I absolutely loved this, I cried both happy and sad tears, laughed and instantly connected to the characters. Abby is a literary genius.
