This was gripping, and very interesting, I know that sounds a very boring thing to say but this book has good information in amongst the drama playing out.

An excellent read and surely a brilliant gift for anyone that enjoys mysteries in a beautiful setting.

Such a good read that had me hooked from the very start and took me on an emotional roller coaster. I loved it and I didn't want it to end.

Cristy and Connor are back with their hindsight podcast. Christy is with David the subject of the last podcast and her wayward husband Matthew is still trying to get her back.
Sadie contact them with a story that is just so complex they feel that the mystery should be solved. Sadie’s life has always been shrouded in mystery, she was reared by her two aunts but when one dies she finds disturbing documents. Was she stolen, abducted who is she?
Her living aunt claims this is all fantasy.
As Cristy and Connor delve into to this case bringing them back to Guernsey they find themselves again in danger.
Brilliantly written as you would expect from a Susan Lewis book. Hope to have more of the Hindsight team in the near future.

Susan Lewis has written YET another gripping mystery!!! The story follows podcasters Cristy and Connor (nice to see the team back again) who investigate Sadie’s past— raised by her two aunts,she believes she was stolen as a child.
An intriguing mystery with some unexpected twists - an easy 5⭐️ read - one that should be at the top of your TBR list.

I found this book to be very confusing and all over the place. It had some good twist and turns but honestly that was all it had. This is the first Susan Lewis I have picked up. But I am not convinced I will try another unfortunately. I have heard good things about the author but she just isn’t for me. You will just have to see for yourself.

A follow on podcast book that I really liked. A proper whodunnit with murder, mayhem, human trafficking and numerous gorgeous locations to say only a few things about this tour de force read.

I hadn't realised this was the second book, so it took me a while to work out who was who as there were a lot of people to begin with and previous readers would obviously have a head start. The story is gripping from the beginning though - the tale of a child seemingly abandoned on the beach in sight of someone's house then the mystery over where she came from in subsequent years, is a good one and kept me interested. It's a complicated story but not completely farfetched and the characters in it are well drawn. There was a lot of travelling here there and everywhere to interview people and tape them for the podcast, so it was a bit like a police procedural mystery without any police involved and it's difficult to say for a good part of the book if there had been an actual crime anywhere, more of a mystery than anything. Anyway, it kept me reading to the end and the writing is good, not hard going or too cliched and I liked the fact it was all in chronological order so straightforward to follow, as it would have been tempting to move back and forward over time with this story, but it kept to the present which worked well.

A fantastic book from Susan Lewis, the second in a "highlight podcast" series. It's a great story that keeps readers guessing till the end and if you've not read the first in the series it won't matter.

brillaint, brillaint. Great charaters. Story well thought out, right to the end. One of the longer books I have read in a while but keeps you wanting to read. Good twists. You feel sorry for Sadie and understand what she has gone through although well looked after. What an end. Well done Susan Lewis AGAIN

Susan Lewis at her very best! Really intricate plotline with story told via podcast . Cristy and Connor have a successful podcast series where they delve into crimes and uncover the truth. Cristy has met her partner David while proving him innocent of murder. It's through his daughter Anna that she meets Sadie aka Sasha, who believes she was stolen as a two year old and seeks help finding her true family. Raised by two "aunts", Mia and Lottie, she starts delving into her past when her aunt Lottie dies, incidentally having cut Sadie out of her multi million pound will. She goes through Lottie 's prolific writings, feeding Cristy and Connor them , piecemeal. There follows a tale of mystery, intrigue, shady characters, trafficking, blackmail and lies. Who is telling the truth? I found myself veering from one theory to another -just as I was meant to- but still found the ending explosive. Shades of Daphne du Maurier in this book with it's wild setting, mysterious aunts and dark mystery. Loved it

This book sees up catch up with Christy and her team from the book Nothing to see here. The podcaster is in guernsey to celebrate Christmas and gets involved in Sadie’s story for her latest podcast.

This book was full of twists and turns and was quite dark in places but really enjoyable with some great characters.

Another excellent read from Susan Lewis.

Another step in the podcast based series. A large cast base so you need to keep track of a lot of people. The twists and turns are incredible and yes you cant believe anything. So who did what, and when. It's quite a tale

Don’t believe a word takes us back to Cristy,Connor and the team who we were introduced to in Nothing to see hear,lots of familiar characters and locations
The podcast this time tackles the intriguing case of Sadie/sasha who was brought up by her aunts in rather unusual circumstances, after the death of one of the aunts, paperwork is found that raises lots of questions re the appearance of two year old Sadie/Sasha on the beach and why she was there, who left her there and why her aunts raised her!
The investigation is full of revelations, shocks, and much distress as we learn about human trafficking and the ramifications of it.
A great read with many plot twists, shocks and surprises that will keep you guessing till the end!

Sadie is trying to research her family background, aided by podcasters Christy and Connor who featured in a previous book (Nothing to See Here). Although not essential, it would be an advantage to read this book first as several of the characters feature in both books. An engaging read with relatable characters and a complex plot.

Not my favourite Susan Lewis book but still good. It held my attention for the moat part but it felt very long and I did zone out a few times!! The premise and the actual storyline were good, as were the characters....just felt too long for me.

Conner, Christy and the team back again. Loved this new book following the pod cast team and their interviews and investigations into a new story with lots of twists and turns.

Susan Lewis never fails to hit the bar in her work. Again, another piece of genius, combining romance and suspense and so much emotion in one space. Fabulous.
