You’re a thrill seeker who loves an adrenaline rush. You’re offered the chance to ride a roller coaster. The highest one in the world. A once in a lifetime opportunity, after hours, no queuing, no restrictions. But then the roller coaster stops. 200 meters above ground. You realize no one is around. No one can hear your scream. You’re stranded. There is no help coming. How will you escape?! Omg!! Such a different read! I loved it!! I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like it?! This book had fantastic suspense, murder, mystery, dark past secrets, intrigue, and a few truly shocking moments ! I highly recommend reading this book. It was well worth reading! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

I was so excited to read The Drop by S. R. Masters as I loved their previous book, How to Kill with Kindness.

Cady is a Youtube content creator, who films herself at theme parks and reviewing rollercoasters. She has quite the following on her YouTube channel. She’s invited to the Middle East for exclusive pre-opening access to Hysteria, which will be the world’s highest rollercoaster. This is a golden opportunity for her and her career.

At the VIP event she catches up with her former house-mates from Cambridge University, Femi, Naz, Winston and Danson before taking a ride on Hysteria with them. They’re excited as they climb the first hill of the rollercoaster, they teeter at the top expectantly. Then nothing happens, their excitement turns to concern and then panic…..

I loved the housemates predicament, being clamped to their seats stuck on a rollercoaster, it added to the tension and the high stakes - where past grievances come to light and there was nowhere for them to hide. I was on the edge of my seat reading this - I had no idea the direction it would take. It was a rollercoaster ride of a read - no pun intended!

Huge thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter, for making this e-ARC available to me to read in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This was such a good novel. The author had me hooked from the very first page and I kept reading until the end as I wanted to know what happened. There were so many twists and turns that it had me guessing all the way through. The story was easy to follow and had good pacing with a good cast of characters. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author.

I got an email to read this and one i saw the cover and the description i got excited been in a bit of a reading funk lately and this book seemed to be what i needed to pull myself out it and it did just that.
I think because i had read the description and seen the cover it helped woth the anticipation if i hadn't maybe the build up would have fealt a bit slow...
A part of me wasnt aure how it could work how can people get stuck at the top of a rollercoaster in the middle of the night but once you start reading it all makes sense this story goes through friendships and lies and secrets and how even the simplest of encouragememts can effect people it really is gripping though i did get a bit impatient a part way through and want something to happen and it did.
I actually fealt like i was on the rollercoaster experiencing it all with them.
Great read.

This one really freaked me out as it's intense and frightening...but oh so good! Cady is a YouTube star when she is invited to the new amusement park, Dreamland and is able to ride the new roller-coaster, Hysteria. Four of her old friends will also be there and she's over the moon thinking about the reunion. But little does she know of the horrors that await her! From secrets, lies, blackmail, and other things, it begs the question, "Does success require selfishness?" Read it immediately as it's sooo good!
Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC!
