After a messy fender bender, Piper and Vincent are off to a rough start—each blaming the other. So of course, fate throws them back together at her stepbrother’s wedding… where Vincent just happens to be the groom’s college roommate. Things get even more complicated when a wealthy couple at their reception mentions owning rare Hawaiian flowers—exactly what Vincent needs for a new fragrance. Too bad he didn’t exactly charm them.
Enter Piper, who helps smooth things over by pretending to be Vincent’s girlfriend. One fake relationship, a high-paying job offer, and a trip to Hawaii later, sparks start flying—and maybe first impressions aren’t everything.
This was a fun, flirty enemies-to-lovers romance with a great setting and plenty of chemistry!
Thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the advanced copy. I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

DNF. This was a struggle to get through, especially when I didn't love the premise or characters, though I promise I tried reading as much as I could.

A wonderful read!
This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

A cute story I enjoyed reading. It included great tropes which I love (enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine)
I liked the characters but I however felt like certain parts were rushed or missing - parts that would have added to the chemistry of the characters. as well as made the storyline more engaging.
Overall a good quick read. Enjoyed it. But it didn't wow me.

Such a cute read! Very nicely paced and easy to read. Liked both the characters and enjoyed the way the interacted with each other. The tension between them was nicely written though some of the scenes between them almost felt a bit rushed at times... The plot is predictable but still fresh enough to keep you enjoying and reading. 4/5 would recommend.

Perfect (mis)Match by Leslie North
Perfect (mis)Match is a fun and fiery romance that blends workplace dynamics with plenty of tension and sparks. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and the banter adds a lot of humor to the story. However, it does get a bit spicy in some parts, so I skipped those sections. That said, if you’re a fan of sizzling romance with a touch of drama, this book will definitely keep you hooked from start to finish!

This book was funny, full of banter, and so much tension! It has a good pace and I was laughing reading.

A meet-crash rather than a meet-cute sets the stage for this deliciously fiery enemies-to-lovers romance! From the moment Vincent Forde rear-ends the Piper's car with an infuriating scowl and no apology in sight, I was hooked. His designer suit, icy glare, and ego the size of his wealth? Just the icing on the cake.
Then we are treated to the perfect storm when Vincent shows up at Piper's brother's engagement party, casually oozing charisma while she’s still trying to figure out how she could possibly hate him and want him all at once. With an outrageous offer to pretend to be his girlfriend in exchange for helping him secure a rare perfume ingredient for his empire, Vincent might be a lot of things—grumpy, arrogant, but oh-so-charming in the most infuriating way possible.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts, and the banter is sharp enough to make you giggle and swoon in equal measure. As the fake relationship turns real, I found myself swept up in the slow-burn tension and heart-stopping twists that kept me turning the pages.
If you love billionaire bosses, fake relationships, and a heroine ready to knock down a too-sexy-for-his-own-good hero, this one’s for you. It’s the perfect balance of wit, heart, and heat—exactly the kind of romance that leaves you smiling long after you’ve finished.
I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I was hooked from the first few pages! I love a good romance book and although you can totally see what the outcome will be as that is the nature of the story, I really enjoyed this!
Not too cheesy, just the right amount of spice in for me and for this level of romance. Loved the ending!
Loved the characters and how much of an easy read it was!
Two days reading, which is when I can tell I am enjoying a book as I don't want to put it down!
Thank you, netgalley, for this arc copy and only just getting round to reading!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters of Piper and Vincent were so perfectly written. Their story kept me interested, and I couldn't put it down. The character growth, especially Vincent, was well done. I thought this was a fun read that had some epic toe curling moments. I can't wait to read more from this author. I absolutely recommend this book to the romance readers.
Thank you Net Galley, Relay Publishing, and Leslie North

Perfect (mis)Match by Leslie North was a sweet and funny rom com and I really enjoyed reading it. I would read another from this author for sure

I really enjoyed this, despite being very wary going in. I wasn’t expecting much I’ll admit, but this was actually such a fun read. I love a grumpy x sunshine when it’s done right, and this certainly was.
There was never a point in this book that felt like the story was dragging along, so the pacing was perfect. The characters changed and grew throughout the story, especially Vincent, which was so rewarding to see (beginning Vincent vs. ending Vincent are fully just 2 different people, in a good way).
I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with the two of them.

Didn’t love this one unfortunately! The characters’ connection didn’t resonate with me and the story felt longer than necessary.

I wanted this to be amazing….,, it drew me in through the cover and the synopsis but couldn’t keep my attention. It was a DID NOT Finish

Ah, another billionaire bosshole story from Leslie North! I thought the book was pretty good - it has the regular “billionaire bosshole vs. headstrong female character (stranger to employee)” plot with the fake dating trope. The banter between Piper and Vincent was interesting - a bit more menacing than playful (but that just might be me). Overall, I enjoyed it but there were some parts where it was very “surface-level” in a way. I would give this 3.5 stars but NetGalley only does a whole star rating.

I had a bit of a hard time getting into this book. Vincent kept rubbing me the wrong way. Bosshole and all, he was intolerable. But luckily I stuck to it and he grew on me. He became more lovable.
I loved Piper from the beginning. Down to earth and hilarious. She spoke to me and made Vincent a better more tolerable man.
This enemies-to-lovers, fake relationship gives you various emotions. The banter we get between the two had me chuckling out loud more than once.
Overall it's a great story that shows growth in both the characters and has enough humor to make you laugh-out-loud.

This book seems to be cute and interesting however it was archived the day I started it it so I will not be reviewing fully.

"Perfect (mis)Match" is a fun and easy read. It's full of tropes and sassy banter and had me laughing out loud more than once. An ideal story for everyone who enjoys grumpy x sunshine and fake dating.

I loved this book. This was my first Leslie North read and I can’t wait to read more. Vincent and Piper are adorable together. She makes him better and he finally realizes it. I loved the placement of the conflict. It was early enough in the book it lasted longer than one chapter and left several chapters after for conflict resolution. Great quick read!!! Definitely recommend.

3.5 ⭐️
Enjoyable read but cringed a few times. Last chapter was not my kind of trope and even if it wasn't, did feel a bit forced for the book given the time frames. If it was sometime in the future, a note to this would have helped.
