Overall I enjoyed this. I liked the storyline and found the characters interesting. Sometimes it did feel a bit too fast-paced and some things were glossed over making me feel disconnected. Great emotion and drama mixed in had me reading until the end.

This is the fourth book in a series by Lisa Renee Jones. I like that this book has more to it than just a romance novel. I feel like this book is slightly tame given the genre it is grouped in but I liked that. It allowed the rest of the story to shine through and catch your attention. I have only read the main stories previously and none of the novella but I don’t think that matters in understanding what was going on. It entertained me but maybe not as much as the previous stories. If you are a fan of the series I recommend continuing.

Just in case you’ve picked up No In Between without having read any of the previous books in this series, put it down right now. This is a series that builds on each book and quite a bit has happened since the first book. This may look like book 4 in the Inside Out series but there’s a lot of novellas to go between the full novellas and believe me when I say, you don’t want to miss a thing.

This book is told mainly from Sarah’s POV. Unfortunately, she hasn’t been my favorite character thorough this series but has managed to make a turnaround for me. This book is a fairly intense one as Sarah and Chris return to San Francisco to answer questions about Rebecca. Is she dead or alive? What happened to her? That has been the question running through my head thorough this series. Honestly, it’s the reason I have stuck around so long. But I digress. This one face-paced filled with angst, mystery, and the suspense that will have you questioning yourself at the end. Plenty of questions are answered while even more leave me wondering. This was a good entry to the series. Looking forward to Mark’s story!

I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I read two of the books and two of the novellas in 2014. Here I am in 2020 trying to finish up some Netgalley reads and feel very detached from the characters and series. This is the fourth book in the Inside Out series. Sarah and Chris are together and planning their wedding. Mark is brooding and drunk. Rebecca's disappearance has still not been solved. Ava just got released from jail on bail. I think this series dragged on too long and suffers from being broken into so many books and novellas. So if you read this series when it was released good for you but it does not hold up six years later.

This installment blew by so quick. Getting into the nitty gritty right now. Ava is setting up her defense. Chris and Sara are planning their wedding andddd Mark is well, Mark! Definitely ends with the set up for the next book because with the news Chris got, I don’t see him handling it well....

Rarely do I not finish the whole book especially Lisa Renee Jones. But this book didn't grab me and keep my intrest, like her other books. I wish I could give a better rating because I really love this Author and I ask everyone to find another book of her's and you'll see what I mean she's extremely talented.
