I LOVED this book from the first chapter I was hooked.i loved the unique take on the garden of eden heaven / hell so refreshing. It was such a based paced gripping book I can't wait to read more from the author

At first I was unsure Of what exactly I was going to think of this book after reading the blurb. And I am so glad that I have read this book. I loved the characters within this book, as they had brought a lot to the story. The writing style in this book was very well written and I found it very easy to read. I didnโt want to put the book down once I had started reading it. I loved the story and the character development within this book.

I loved absolutely everything about this book and have added this author to my list of "auto-buy authors." A beautifully constructed slow-burn why choose romance that kept me turning pages late into the night.

I wanted to like this book but I just couldnโt get into it. Personal preference and no reflection on the author! If you like a found family, sort of love triangle/why choose spicy adult fantasy I think this could be up your street!

It is a long time that I was so catched by a fantasy book like I was with this one. If you like Supernatural and have some sympathy for greek mythology you will love this story. It is full packed of action between angels and demons as well as witchery and a good chunk of romance. The characters are well written. No one is ondimensional but you encounter new sides of them at every step. Lily the main hero is no damsel in distress or a mary sue but she is very powerful and at the same time vulnerable and loving. At some points I really had to cry because even some of the side characters like the Pegasus would really be worth to have their own story and make the main story much more rich. I really loved the whole book!

๐๐ค๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐จ ๐'๐ฆ ๐ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ ๐ sucker for a good why choose romance and Sanctum definitely hit the spot in a lot of ways. The mix of celestial and demonic forces, a prophecy that's been waiting to unfold, and a human (that we know of) thrown into the middle of all of this. This book is a chunky one at about 600 pages but it was really fast paced so for the most part it kept my interest.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐... I had some mixed feelings about the romance. While I enjoyed the tension and the dynamics between Lily and her men, the relationships felt a little rushed. I just wanted some more build-up, more emotional depth before all the spice happened. Now don't get me wrong...I love a good spicy time, I mean sign me up BUT in a fantasy book especially, I want to feel the angst between the love interests and get into the banter. When the spice did hit, it was really good.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ค๐๐ฉ๐ญ me hooked for most of this book was the overall plot. The prophecy, the battle between realms, and Lily's journey from a mortal to something else? That I don't want to give to many spoilers on. I did like the found family aspect. I think the author did well on making you fall for the characters and how they protect one another.
๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ, Sanctum was a good, fast paced read with an unique plot. If you love supernatural adventure with some why choose in there then you'll like this one.

This book started off really great for me but at some point I started to lose interest. The characters were great there was nothing wrong with the plot, but at some point I just started to lose interest. I did finish the book but it took me ages to get through it. The writing style might be the problem for me.
The book is very spicy and it features a human, a demon and an angel it will definitely be something most romantasy readers look for in a book but unfortunately it was not for me.
A huge thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this e-ARC in exchange for this honest review.

I adored this books!!! Iโve always loved book with a biblical theme and this masterfully blended fantasy and religion into a fast paced high stakes books that left me gagging for more.
One of the highlights for me was the relationships between all the characters and how the grew and moved with the story, but the world building was brilliant too and left me feeling complete immersed.
Overall I thought this was a fantastic book and Iโd easily give it 5 stars.

I really wanted to love this book. It had such a great concept but it didnโt feel polished.
I love a good fantasy with an epic quest, found family, and love. But this book felt a little too long. I found myself putting it down for long stretches of time before eventually coming back to it because I really did want to read it.
I canโt help but feel there was a huge missed opportunity with the lack of sword crossing. The tension between an archdemon and and archangel had the potential to be cataclysmic.

This is such a unique take on the classic angels/demons dynamic. The writing and world building are fantastic and will draw the reader in immediately. Lots of great twists to keep you flipping pages as well. Definitely recommend!

So I was super interested in this story until about 60% when it suddenly became a why choose romance between a demon and archangel. I loved the whole beginning, her life with Finn etc.
I enjoyed this story and all the subplots of each characters background, however I feel this was definitely too long and too layered
I was lost entirely when her grandfather basically started orchestrating her sleeping with either of them in his own house (he is death in physical form though so this is somehow acceptable)
It just all got a bit convenient and confusing toward the end, and we didnโt even see how Hectate was released or what happened to Ragnar? Also would have loved a reunion at the end

Let me start by saying that this bookโs cover is gorgeous, and secondly, the plot is absolutely gripping! Itโs a fated mate triangle involving an archdemon, an archangel, and a mortal with some powerful mojo who join forces to save the world from evil. Itโs a perfect recipe for delightful banter, allegiance, and saving the world.
Lily finds herself in a whirlwind of emotions and an unbelievable destiny that seems far beyond her reach. However, a brooding archdemon, an enlightened archangel, and her trusted and new friends, will sacrifice themselves so she can reach her goal.
Though the first few chapters were slow, things started to pick up, and then I found myself flipping pages more quickly than I expected. I was so enthralled that I actually did some research on characters and certain elements woven into the story.
The world-building is unique, and the characters are fascinating, but I was hoping for more depth. I felt everything was hurried along and jammed into one book when it could have been spread out more in a series. There is also a lot of hot adult spice, but it could have been toned down once it ramped up to the grand finale. Seriously, all I wanted to know was if they made it in the end, not who would get their rocks off in the next chapter.
Whether youโre team archdemon or team archangel, one thing is for sure: Lily and her crew are in for one wild ride. Grab your favorite cozy spot and get ready for some illuminating moments and life-threatening encounters.
Thank you to Ms. Kayne for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Review: This story sucked me in so well! I love how there were multiple inspirations for the demons; their lore and world was incredible. I loved how we had a chosen one prophecy and a why choose romance to invest in. I do wish we could have been left with a better ending as I feel it was more of a cliffhanger than a conclusion. There are still so many things left unanswered so I do hope the author continues this and allows us to find out what happens with Bowie, Slade and the others.

This was an amazing demon/angel fantasy romance while being a why choose as well. The world building could have been done a bit more structured. Some areas of it felt a little choppy and fell a little short. The characters were well diverse and the growth that they've all been through really shows as the story progresses.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the eARC.

Sanctum by Luna Kaye was an enjoyable paranormal romantasy. While I enjoyed certain aspects of the setting and characters, it didn't leave as strong an impact as expected.

This is an engaging urban fantasy filled with supernatural battles, mythology, and unexpected alliances. Lilyโs journey from an unsuspecting mortal to the key figure in a celestial war kept me hooked. I loved her strength, vulnerability, and ability to unite people, especially the reluctant duo of archangel Michael and archdemon Asmodeus. The world-building was immersive without overwhelming, and the twists kept me guessing. While the pacing felt rushed, the character dynamics made up for it. With action, romance, and mythological depth, this book is for any fantasy lovers.

This romantic fantasy was just an utter surprise and a total joy to read! Demons, mortals and angels are wittily combined is written quite masterfully! The idea of a love triangle will make a lot of people shy away, but this love triad just really works. Making you question the love between Asmodeus/Lily and Michael/Lily is both tragic but leaves me in hopeful anticipation! In fact, all the characters are just amazingly complex, and the vivid world building is delightfully done! It is really hard to decide who to go, for team Asmodeus or team Michael, because both are just marvelous! Asmodeus might be all demon and plays on his baser primal instincts, which I loved his demon side. While angelic Michael just stunned me! Iโve always pictured Michael as being a virgin and would not have desire or lust for a female, but itโs enjoyable to read that he is knocked off that holy pedestal by a human. Lily has a tough choice and most of the time I wanted all three to live together. The open ending begs the question of who will finally get to claim Lily and what will happen to the rest of the group too. I eagerly look forward to the next in the series, but while I wait I will just read this again and again. I have to congratulate Ms. Luna Kaye on a fantastic book that everyone will love!

This book had so much potential and while I did really enjoy aspects of it, it overall fell a little flat for me and left me a little disappointed. The angels and demons plot line had me hooked in the beginning but the pacing felt a little off to me and the middle completely dragged. That being said, while I felt like it was longer than necessary, I did want more world building and explanations behind some of the major places and people that were influencing the plot. It was like we were skimming the surface the entire time and while it had the potential to be a true knockout, we just never got there.
I did really enjoy our characters and their unique personalities were well developed. Lilyโs character arc was a total hit for me and I enjoyed watching her interact with those around her. However, I felt no emotional connection between her and her love interests and while the spice itself was well written, it felt disjointed from the overall plot and I felt nothing for their romantic relationshipsโit was like they were total strangers and while fate and destiny do play a major role here, I wanted a little more heartstrings too. I also was dreaming of a little sword crossing (hello, archdemon x archangel angst is OFF THE CHARTS) so maybe that was a contributing factor to my letdown and overall, my apathy for the romance could purely be a me issueโI am really here for the heartache, tension, and emotional turmoil.
The end of the book definitely did pick up around 70-75% and I enjoyed this part a lot more, anxiously awaiting to see if Lily was able to fulfill the prophecy and what resolution would come from this epic journey. Overall, I feel like there is so much potential here in the Sanctum world and Iโm curious to see how this story may continue with our side characters in the future.

Thank you NetGalley and Kayne Publishing for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

This book is urban paranormal why choose romance perfection! I love the twists and turns, the hidden secrets and lies, the romantic and platonic relationshipsโฆeverything!
Lily, the FMC, is strong and independent and so, so loveable. And never, ever would I be able to choose between her two MMCs, so Iโm thrilled she didnโt have to, either! The spice was delicious and paired so well with an addictive plot. It was a struggle reading this during report card writing season, because I did NOT want to put it down! And once it was over, all I wanted was more.
Definitely check this book out if youโre a fan of: romantasy, paranormal romance, urban fantasy, why choose, super hot spice, angels, demons, and epic battles. You wonโt regret it!

3.5 stars rounded up
Sanctum by Luna Kayne offers an intriguing blend of low fantasy and why choose romance, centered around Lily, a human woman on a quest for self-discovery, familial ties, and her destined role in a vast universe including heaven and hell.
The dynamic between Lily and her two love interests is a highlight, showcasing delightful banter, acceptance, and a touch of spice. The concept of a love triangle involving an archdemon and an archangel adds a captivating twist to the romantic plot.
While the premise is compelling, the story's pacing felt a bit sluggish at times, particularly in the beginning, which made it challenging to stay engaged. Additionally, the multitude of plot elements sometimes led to confusion, as not every aspect received the depth it deserved. Despite these issues, the central theme of prophecy and its implications for Lily's journey was genuinely fascinating.
As a fan of Greek mythology, I enjoyed these aspects of the story a lot. Overall, Sanctum is a solid read with a unique premise, but it could benefit a lot if there plot structure was just a touch more cohesive.
