Fast paced and twisty makes this another great book by T.M.Logan. Highly recommended
Many thanks to Netgalley for the chance to read this ARC in return for an honest review

T. M. Logan is an auto-buy author for me and I think this is my favourite read of his so far.
His books always hit the major key points for a successful crime novel: characters that you care about, fast-paced writing and a mysterious plot. As a parent myself, this plot gave me all the goosebumps and I couldn't read it quick enough!

The blurb says “Master of the all nighter” & that is so true. I just couldn’t put this down and was totally engrossed in this wonderful thriller. I could totally relate to the Mother’s character and could feel her anguish. Some of the action was a little far fetched but had me holding my breath nonetheless. Highly recommended

I loved the daughter, it was so good and throughout the whole reading process i was so invested in what was going on and really hoping Lauren would find her daughter safe.
I really enjoyed reading Lauren's pov and seeing the pov months back from Evie and what was going on with her, i was really hoping she was safe. Lauren and her youngest child Lucas i loved them both working as a team, it was so heartwarming how much they were risking themselves to find their lost family member.
Halfway through and finding out the information bit by bit and seeing what was happening in Evie's pov i was starting to put the pieces together what had actually gone on and i was so hoping everyone would be safe and find their way back to each other, the suspense was killing me. Some great twists that i wasn't expecting. The daughter was a suspense book that really has you cheering on the characters, definitely an addictive read that once you start you won't be able to stop.
I always love the books by T.M. Logan and every time i am so excited to see what each new book will entail and the daughter was another captivating read that i couldn't put down.
Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and Bonnier Books UK | Zaffre for the copy of this arc in exchange of my full honest review.

Single Mum Lauren goes to pick up her daughter after her first term at University and finds a stranger instead. Her daughter dropped out weeks ago and now Lauren doesn’t know where to find her. As she investigates further she meets up with a fellow Mum whose daughter has gone missing but is everything as simple as it seems?
Sometimes one reads a book and just has to suspend belief and go with the flow. This is one of those books. It’s illogical, overwrought and the plot is unrealistic but it’s also incredible exciting to read and difficult to put down. OK it’s not literary fiction but it’s good fun (if your idea of fun is drugs, guns and acid!)

Another winner from TM Logan.
When Lauren goes to pick up her daughter Evie
from University for the Christmas holidays she is not there.
Someone else is in her room and she has not been at uni for months.
The chase is on to find out where she is and what has happened to her.
An exciting story unravels, to a thrilling end.

I was hooked from the first page. As always with TM Logan the plot is clever, tightly woven and addictive. As a mum to a teenage daughter I found the what ifs creeping in which just added to the suspense and page turning late into the night. A fantastic read.

Lauren is excited to pick her daughter up from college but when she arrives and knocks the door a stranger greets her and has no knowledge of her daughter. Lauren believes it must be a mistake but soon discovers Evie is nowhere to be found and hasn't been at the college for weeks. Lauren asks herself Where has she gone and why didn't she tell her ?
I am a big fan of TM Logan books and this one didn't disappoint. The plot has me hooked from the start and kept me fully engaged throughout. I did not see the twists coming at all. This was a great quick thriller read and I flew through it.
Thank you to Netgalley, Bonnier Books UK and T. M Logan for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Netgalley and Bonnier books for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review. I haven't read a T M Logan book before i can safely say this won't be the last one either. This was a gripping book that had me instantly wanting more. It was twists and turns in every chapter and left me saying just one more chapter far too many times!! Towards the end of the book my jaw literally dropped and left me shouting outloud I was shocked but what an epic book.

T.M Logan has done it again!! Wowy!
Another gripping and exciting read that I genuinely couldn't put down!
This book is every parents worse nightmare - 'where is my daughter?' - I love how Logan always writes such believable premises. This could and most likely has happened before. However, despite the realistic start, the book really did go a bit wild towards the end. It was pretty nuts, and a lot less believable - for this reason, I couldn't give the full 5*.
That did not necessarily hinder my enjoyment though - hooked from beginning to end, despite the chaos!
Definitely recommend, and I look forward to reading whatever T.M Logan does next!

This is an excellent thriller that I found difficult to put down. It revolves round a missing daughter, and a race against time searching for her, dead or alive. It’s exciting and fast paced. I thoroughly recommend it.
My thanks to the author, to the publisher and to Netgalley the opportunity to read and review this book.

As always with T.M. Logan I found myself gripped immediately by the suspense and fast pace, great read overall.

When Lauren heads to pick her daughter Evie up from university, she is shocked when there is no sign of her. Someone else is living in her dormroom and the university has no record of her presence for weeks. Where is she?
This heartstopping book was such a wild ride! It is every mother's nightmare to lose a child so I couldn't help but feel for Lauren as she went about discovering things about Evie and what she had been up to. Every time I thought I guessed at what was happening, I was proved wrong. There are so many twists in this story that you'll not be able to pick what is going to happen next. It was such a well written book and another winner for this author.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bonnier Books UK for the ARC
T.M. Logan is an author that has been hyped for me forever and he did not disappoint! The Daughter is a brilliant thriller full of twists and turns and unreliable characters. I was at the edge of my seat and flipped page after page because I wanted to know how it would end. Highly recommed!

Thank you to netgalley for providing me an E-ARC in exchange for an honest review. I haven't ventured fully into Logan's works but I did enjoy this one! I feel it lost its footing slightly towards the end but I do appreciate it is hard to keep the correct pacing for a 400 page thriller. I did enjoy the build up of this story though! I was grasped by the first page making this a super easy read. I also enjoyed some of the twists that were involved! I would recommend this! I will be reading more by this author.

T M Logan never disappoints with a superb, twisty thriller. This one gripped me from the first chapter and didn't let go until I'd finished the last sentence. The story moves at a relentless pace, keeping me on the edge of my seat and eager to find out what would happen next. Fantastic, compelling, heart pounding action from beginning to end. Loved it!!

I LOVED this book so much. Right from the start I was hooked. It was one of those "just one more chapter" books where you struggle to put it down once you start.
There were so many twists and turns and I correctly predicted none of them. Lucas was my favourite character.
Throughout the book you're slowly given bits of information that eventually all come together for a brilliant ending. I'd highly recommend this to anyone that likes a fast paced thriller that grips you from the get go!

This was a fast-paced, twisty read about a mother who turns up to pick her daughter up from college to find she isn't there, and hasn't been there for a while. Following her then trying to work out was has happened gave a well-plotted story that I recommend if you are in the mood for a book that will keep you gripped!

A new title from T.M Logan? Yes please.
The plot in this one follows Lauren in search of her missing daughter Evie who has seemingly just vanished from university. Some good twists and turns, a race against time and no one willing to help leaves Lauren and her young son Lucas the only ones searching for Evie.
This is probably my least favourite from this author of all the ones I’ve read but was still a good a thriller.
Many thanks to NetGalley, publisher and author for my eARC in exchange for my honest review.

My thanks to Bonnier Books UK, Zaffre and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘The Daughter’ written by T M Logan in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
Lauren Wingfield is collecting her daughter Evie from student accommodation at university so they can spend Christmas together with her twelve-year-old brother Lucas but when she arrives Evie is nowhere to be found and is told that Evie dropped out of education some months ago. Lauren knows that her daughter wouldn’t willingly take off without telling her first so she informs the police but they don’t seem to be interested so with the help of Lucas they start searching themselves.
‘The Daughter’ is a gripping thriller with a brilliantly conceived plot that’s so full of suspense, intrigue and unscrupulous characters that I’ve been glued to my Kindle unable to stop reading. A detailed report of what’s happened to Evie counts down from the nine months previously to the present time when Lauren discovers she’s disappeared. There’s a number of unbelievable twists that kept me gasping but none more so than the final one where I wasn’t sure if they were going to get out of their predicament unscathed. As I neared the final chapters I thought everyone was going to be safe but I was completely wrong and had to wait with baited breath until I reached the final page. This thriller is so exciting it’s definitely getting a massive five stars from me.
