Perfect reading journal to highlight my reading progress. It comes with many columns to track the arcs and books from NetGalley.

Agony Hill was the first in this new series from Sarah Stewart Taylor. Agony Hill was really good, and I wanted to find out what happened to Warren, Sylvie, and Alice.

Turns out there was another death in Bethany, Vermont. This time at a private hunting and fishing lodge just out of town. It was assumed that the death was an accident. After all, so many hunters in the woods, a stray shot might have gotten him. But there were other things that made it a bit suspicious. The victim was a recently retired ambassador. Not retired of his own accord, but forced out.

Warren and Pinky are on the case. They get the body to the coroner and begin questioning the group that is on property. It seems that many of the members might have good cause to have shot the man. Alibis abound and suspicions arise. Which one of these men could have wanted him dead? Or was it simply a stray bullet that got him?

Everyone is present in this follow up. Sylvie is still pregnant with her late husband’s baby. Alice is hosting a dinner party for friends, Warren included. Pinky has matured a bit since the last investigation, and definitely appears to be Warren’s right hand man now.

It’s a great group of characters that will be fun to follow through the series. So much intrigue where Alice is concerned. Will Warren & Sylvie become more than acquaintances? I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I like this little slice of Vermont. While I wouldn’t call these ‘cozy’ mysteries, the town of Bethany is fairly cozy. I hope that we’ll get to see more of Jenny and the others in the next installment.

Enjoyable read.

This journal is a great starting point for someone starting their digital journaling process. It is simple enough to understand but also offers ways to customize.

I joined NetGalley earlier this year (2025) and have been interested in starting a book journal ever since. I haven't been using the NetGalley Reading Journal for very long, but so far, I enjoy it! I think that it being sectioned into months made it difficult to use consistently for me, but that is because I didn't download it until halfway through the year. I could backfill what I read already this year into each month, but that doesn't seem as fun to me. I plan to use this version as a practice for next year's Reading Journal. I eagerly await the 2026 version of this because I think starting it with the new year will be amazing!

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a fantastic digital tool for any avid reader or book reviewer, especially those using NetGalley regularly. It's thoughtfully designed with the needs of readers in mind and serves as a helpful hub for organizing reading life.

The journal impresses with its clean layout and functionality. Monthly planning pages help you keep track of your reading goals, TBRs, and feedback ratio (which an essential for staying in good standing with NetGalley). There are dedicated spaces for individual book reviews, which makes it easy to reflect and refer back later.

I LOVE all the extras: themed challenges, bookish bingo, habit trackers, and end of year reflection pages that make tracking your reading both practical and fun. It encourages consistency while also leaving room for personal flair and creativity.

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay organized, meet their NetGalley goals, and enjoy the process of documenting their bookish journey.

Thank you NetGalley for this fabulous tool!

As always Netgalley brings out the best tools. Beautiful and useful and set out keeping in mind actual readers and how they will use it.

I don't really like reading journals (I keep track with crafts and Goodreads) but this one is super cute. I like how colorful it is and the different section. However, the app was not easy for me to use, not smooth enough or just not what I wanted. I think I would enjoy the journal more if it was printed.

I recently got a new device capable of running Goodnotes and was finally able to enjoy this journal. I love having a place offline to put my book reviews. I am enjoying all the activities and stickers that come along with it.

Great resource for all books read, but just ARCs. It’s broken down by month, but also includes some yearly pages as well.

I absolutely love this! I'm always looking for creative, fun ways to track my overall reading. I am a very fast reader, and I end up forgetting things, so having an enjoyable way to record and remember all my books is excellent!

I also scooped up the sticker packets that came over via email and they are all so cute! Highly recommend downloading this one!

I usually tracked my reads through goodreads but wanted a physical journal to leaf through and take with me out and about. This is a fab guide on what to do and how to effectively book journal, great work.

Love this!
I usually just track my books through Goodreads but after I got my iPad I wanted a prettier reading journal to track stars and reviews. Works perfect with Goodnotes.
