I had such high hopes for this one, you know I love a cowboy romance 😂 and honestly the minute I see the word ranch I’m all in, like if there is a big red barn too…games over for me, like I’m nearly always gonna love what your selling me, you know 😅

But this was just fine. Like that exactly how I would describe it and it feels kinda harsh to say that but that’s the truth. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible, it kinda bored me a little and the main character girl annoyed me but the writing was fine the setting was nice but just overall felt blah to me. As a veteran cowboy romance reader (is that a thing haha) it was sadly a no from me!

From the blurb -
When English wellness influencer Rory Jones inherits her great aunt’s ranch in Colorado, her plan to fix-up and sell-up ASAP hits a snag.

Grumpy head rancher Wyatt Hensley isn’t willing to let a yoga-loving, manifestation guru who doesn’t even know how to ride a horse ruin his ranch.

But when Rory faces up to the fact she hasn’t got anything to rush home for, they strike up a deal that might just save both their jobs.

Can they keep things strictly business, or will their hearts take the reins instead?

This was such an adorable cowboy ranch, Romance! It had the perfect environment, it was humorous, and the chemistry sizzled. I love these characters with my whole heart. I will definitely be reading from this author again!

My first howdy romance 🤭
Loved every second, another book boyfriend added to the list. Rory getting Wyatt to do sun salutations at the crack of dawn and he thought he could deny his feelings? 😂
Ready for more howdy romances 🤪

Live, Ranch, Love is such a feel good, enemies to lovers story that I read within a weekend!
When Aurora finds herself newly single after her ex cheated on her, she finds herself being left with her late Aunt's Ranch... which couldn't have come at a better time for her to escape her life whilst she sorts out selling it on.
But when she arrives on the Ranch she faces a new challenge, the extremely grumpy Wyatt who isn't pleased at all that she has rocked up with the intent to sell the ranch that is his livelihood.

When I tell you that this book had me hooked from beginning to end I really do mean it. There are so many books that are labelled as enemies to lovers, but this one really does deliver on that... as it takes a while for a romance to blossom between them... but when it does, it was perfection.
I smiled, I laughed, and I swooned whilst reading this one! An absolute must read for my fellow cowboy romance lovers!.

Thank you to Netgalley, Harper Collins and Emma Lucy for providing me with an ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

I just couldn’t get into this one at all. Nothing wrong with the narrative or the plot I just didn’t vibe with Rory or Wyatt unfortunately.

This is the perfect read for cowboy romance lovers !!! It starts with aurora running away to Colorado where she meets a grumpy tattooed rancher called Wyatt and it doesn’t take long for tension to be obvious. My favourite part of the book was the setting of being near the mountains and they were always sat out looking at water it sounded so beautiful.

this was alright, some cute parts mixed with the cringe dialogue. i did like the character development even though wyatt's pov didn't feel natural most of the time. it was also a misleading synopsis with fake dating as one of the tropes, as they only pretended for a single scene. after that they just started hooking up and dived into a relationship around the 60& mark. the 3rd act breakup was really unnecessary and kind of dumb tbh.

thank you to netgalley and harpercollinsUK for the arc!!

As cringe as it was, there were still cute moments.

The romance felt distant and I couldn’t feel any chemistry between them. It was all a little flat to me.

The third act was a bit ?? It was over faster than it started and then everyone acted like it didn’t happen. Idk it just felt unnecessary.

First off can we talk about how adorable this cover is?! The story inside is just as cute and perfect for a summer beach read. While the story was easy to follow and writing style was simple, it also lacked originality for me. This will soon be forgotten amongst all the other cowboy romances in my brain; but I did enjoy it at the time. And one more thing; it gets spicyyyyy

I am such a sucker for a small town romance and this book perfectly delivered this!

Wyatt and Aurora have my heart!

Aurora has definitely been through a lot with losing her aunt and then walking in on her boyfriend cheating on her with another woman.

She meets Wyatt when she inherits her great aunt’s ranch and she decides to give it a makeover and then sell it. Wyatt is the head rancher of this ranch and he is not happy with this.

The chemistry and banter between Aurora and Wyatt was so so good!!! I also love when couples support each other’s dreams and aspirations!

The SPICE! Hot dang!! A sexy cowboy? Yes please!!

Overall a wonderful book - 4.5 stars from me!

What a beautifully written romance between Rory and Wyatt.
I loved every minute reading this book and couldn’t put it down, it had me crying, laughing and even giggling at parts, such a brilliant book well done to Emma Lucy for being such a brilliant author.

Live, Ranch, Love seemed like a book I would really enjoy. It has; small town charm and grumpy-sunshine dynamic, which I love on books, but this time it didn’t quite land for me.

The writing style was smooth and easy to read, but I struggled to connect with the main characters. Some things became a bit repetitive, and Rory’s influencer persona felt a little overdone. Of course, that could just come down to personal preference.

While the book did have a few cute moments, I feel like this story just wasn’t for me.

Thank you again for this opportunity to read this ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC copy of this fun little cowboy summer read. This book was the perfect easy read palate cleanser between heavy fantasy books. I’m always a sucker for a small town romance and this was a fun grump/sunshine slow burn, and satisfied the cowboy kick I’m on! It was funny, the chemistry between the FMC and the MMC fell a little bit flat for me but overall an enjoyable read and a good debut novel.

I’m loving my cowboy romances, and this one was no exception.

I was fully invested in Wyatt and Rory from the beginning and loved their banter from the off! A moody cowboy and wellness influencer, Rory, who loves life, is all about wellness and positivity, yet going through a hard time; they were the perfect pair.

The spice was spot on and as hot as Nando’s hot sauce. 🌶️🥵

The setting was beautiful, and I would love to go to Sunset Ranch. The lake and mountain backdrop made for a wonderful setting. I wanted to dive and swim in that lake.

This was so funny too. I was reading this on the train, laughing away. It was Rory’s one-liners or how she took the Micky out of Wyatt.

The writing flowed so well that it was beautifully written. I loved how I could get lost in this book. There were lines that I couldn’t get enough of – they were really touching and reminded me why I read romance. The positivity of new days, sunsets, and sunrises was also thought-provoking.

Thank you Netgalley and HarperCollins UK for giving me this ARC.

This book was such a fun read!
It is an enemies- to- lovers story/ grumpy meets sunshine character where she falls first and he falls harder.

You have your broody rancher Wyatt that has been handling the Sunset Ranch for Auroras Aunt and Aurora who is this Wellness/ Feelgood influencer
from London.

The relationship between Wyatt and Aurora was built beautifully and I was just giggling and swinging my legs the whole time.
I really loved the writing style and how the story was told.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has read the Chestnut Spring series or the Macabe Brothers series

This debut from Emma Lucy was such a fun surprise! I’m a huge fan of small town romances, throw in British charm and cowboys and I was hooked from the start.

Live, Ranch, Love is a classic enemies-to-lovers setup, and Emma Lucy totally nailed it. Wyatt is your ideal grumpy cowboy (seriously, perfectly grumpy). And Rory is the kind of FMC you can’t help but root for—positive, funny, and totally relatable. Their chemistry was off the charts. Like, you could feel it sizzling through the pages.

One of my absolute favorite parts was that vision board at the end. My heart honestly melted for Wyatt. It was such a sweet touch that really brought the story full circle in the best way.

Also, major props for the humor—there were so many laugh-out-loud moments, and I love when a romance can make you genuinely laugh. Plus, the spice level was just right. Not over the top, but definitely enough to keep things interesting.

All in all, a super impressive debut. If this turns into a series, I’m definitely in for more. Emma Lucy is one to watch!

This was a very cute cowboy (rancher?) romance

I wouldn't call this a small town romance because we didn't see much of the actual town, which I would have liked simply for world building but the way the ranch was described was beautiful. it really painted the picture of a peaceful retreat the way Rory herself saw it.

Wyatt was a great grumpy rancher. his one word answers, grunts and head nods screamed grump. and the way he started softening, made my heart melt. the best part was when he started to get involved in Rory's hobbies, meditating, vision boards. we stan a man who shows an interest

Rory was peak sunshiny character but had that layer of vulnerability that we all love. seeing the way she handled her anxieties and fears really made me root for her and her healing journey. it was also great to see a character with 'hippy' hobbies not be written in an eccentric way. she was literally a normal girl who loved to meditate and belived in the powers of the universe. more often than not, characters like that are written in a way that makes them seem weird and fanatical with it all so this was a great change.

Ive seen a lot of people say that Rory and Wyatt didn't have chemistry and im like dis we read the same book? their chemistry wasn't in your face but more natural. there wasn't tension because there dodnt need to be tension for them to work, they just did. it was a natural attraction and honestly this book wouldn't have worked if there was tension.

so if you like your ranchers grumpy except when he's with her, a sunshine FMC who has a bit of a bite and of course a dash of spice then this is a great one to dive into

Thank you to NetGallery and HarperCollins for providing me with a copy of the book to read and review!

It’s a small town, cowboy romance book and it was very wholesome. I did enjoy reading the book but would give it overall 3.5 stars.

The FMC, Rory is a wellness influencer who has sadly been cheated on and betrayed. Not long after does she find out her great aunt has left her a ranch and she takes this as an opportunity to escape from her heartbreak and from her usual city life to a small town place in Colorado whereby she may hopefully find the inspiration she needs.

Not long after arriving there does she butt heads with our grumpy MMC, Wyatt, the head rancher, who does not trust Rory nor her intentions. You can truly tell how much he loves the ranch and only what’s the best for it. That’s where the head butting comes in as he doesn’t want to leave and Rory is looking to sell. However they soon come together to come up with a plan that gives them both what they want. Whilst putting this plan into action we see their relationship develop from animosity and hate to love. Like your usual enemies to lovers book.

I did like the banter between the characters but I felt that the development of the romance between them to be too quick and felt it could have been slower paced. I also did not find the incident towards the end to be necessary, like it didn’t need to be dramatic and their relationship could have developed more naturally.

If you’re a fan of small town romance and cowboy romance books then I think you will enjoy this one. It does help with your post chestnut springs blues. I would be interred to see if the author develops spin off books about other characters we meet in the book, such as Wyatt’s friends and sister, think that would be interesting.

Overall I would recommend this book
