I am sorry to do this to an ARC but what the absolute f… 30% in and the ‘exciting’ things that happened is she showed up at her job one day to find it closed down and her boss has disappeared and won’t answer her calls and she ends up living in her car… and she keeps complaining that her boss scammed her. Um people get fired every day, I don’t really see how this is a plot for a thriller..

Anyways 30% in and this story was so bland and weird I had to DNF. This was not thrilling. Sounds like based on the title that she will eventually get revenge on her boss for her loss of job, but I gotta be honest I couldn’t care less at that point.

Ella arrives at work and finds everything boarded up. Furniture completely packed up and gone leaving an empty store front. Her first instinct is pure panic, and, as she calls and inquires about what happened she receives only more questions so the feeling skyrockets. Heading home there is more bad news, everything there is gone too. She turns to the only person she believes will still help her to find out who did this and why?

The plot line that drew me to The Revenge Plot soon grows tiresome and I found myself wishing I could skip over pages while hoping for more twists. Never a good sign for a novel, which is why I rated this book as average: 3.25 stars.

This author is quickly becoming one of my favourites . This is another great book with interesting characters and a great writing style . There are so many twists and turns throughout this book . I did expect the last twist but nevertheless this was a great book . I would definitely recommend this book and give it 5 stars

If you've ever been wronged and thought to yourself about wreaking revenge, this book will change your mind. Revenge is not a 'dish best served cold'. Rather than seek it be like Elsa in Frozen and let it go.

Ella, a former model, Harriet a consultant paediatrician and Nisha, an estate agent are the three women intent of getting their own back. Harriet and Nisha in particular are obsessed by perceived wrongs and determined to get what they want and will do anything. This is a tightly plotted clever novel which is very enjoyable. It's impossible to say more without risking spoilers.

Loved this thriller so much! It involves three women: Ella, Harriet, and Nisha who all believe they are "owed" something for the wrongs they have encountered in life. But of course all these things have been brought on or engineered by each of them and so it's fitting that this revenge is "best served cold" so none of them see it coming. Great twists and turns as your head will spin until the bitter end!

Again…this talented author has written a page turner. Red herrings…fright…suspense…secrets…the recipe for a mystery that boggles the mind, at times. Characters who might not exist…scary…that being said, the language could be toned down. Thanks Netgalley
