Shari Low is my comfort author. I can always count on her to craft a story full of emotion and interesting characters. Her books are like coming home — they are familiar and surround you with people you love. There’s absolutely no one who can rival Ms. Low when it comes to taking divergent plot lines and weaving them into a story where they seamlessly converge.
ONE DAY AND FOREVER features four individuals who are facing significant life changes. Some characters are old friends met in prior books while we are introduced to others for the first time. Over the span of 24 hours, each will make decisions that will alter the trajectory of their lives. The brilliance comes in the way they intersect.
Ms. Low’s writing pulls at the heartstrings. She infuses her characters with an authentic range of frailties and strengths. Like all her books, this one is a testament to finding the courage to move on from strife and forge a path to healing and happiness. Her books always leave me feeling hopeful. This one is no exception.

Was delighted to be approved for this book as nothing beats a Shari Low book. From the moment you start reading you are swept away into the world of the characters. You feel the highs and the lows with them and are constantly willing them on. I love when old characters from previous novels appear as it’s like reconnecting with old friends. I laughed out loud and cried so much.
Was also gutted when it finished as I need to find out what happens next to them all. Hoping for a sequel Shari!
Loved every part of this book and I would love to live in Weirsbridge with Val and be part of their gang!
Highly recommend this book and all
Of Sharis books, especially if you need a pick me up. Always gives me such a feel good contented feeling after reading them.

First book I have read from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great storytelling that held my interest throughout with excellent characters and a good ending.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC which I can definitely recommend.

As always with a Shari Low book, now I have turned the last page I’m left wanting more, much more! I so much enjoyed sharing the characters lives with them that turning the last page made me sad that my time with them was over especially as it still felt like there could be so many more wonderful days with them all with the outcomes they had all built to on our day together..
The narrative was so easy to read with such well plotted stories for each character and lovely connections between so many of them that made the characters come alive from the page.
It was lovely to reconnect with some of the characters from other books by this author that I have read previously, not that it was necessary to read those other books first, it was just nice to see them and hear how their life is going since I read their last story!
With how much I enjoyed this read, I am going to have to hunt down the other Shari Low books I have not read yet as those I have always leave me feeling uplifted.

Oh my. A story told in a day but grips you and you are back with lots of characters you know and it all ties up so well. You could not put it down. I can’t really write a review that will do it justice . You will love it, can read as a stand alone . Shari Low draws you in. Great neat ending Loved it

Thanks to NetGalley and Publisher for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Another book from Shari Low that spans over a single day following the lives of Kara, Ollie, Alice, Zac and how a recent change of events in each of their lives change their future forever.
I've come to love every single book of Shari Low's which has a this formula of following multiple POVs with drastic changes in their lives giving them all the future they deserve. Every single situation is unique and well throughout having the characters and their situation close to reality making every story relatable and makes it easy to root for them all. There is a meaningful theme behind everybody's story and I love that there's nothing mindless in Shari's books.

I'm 66% into this and it feels like two different stories in one book. It feels drawn out, long even though it's set over 24 hours, it feels like Kara and Ollie story is one and then Zac and the older woman are different story. The only connection is one night between Zac and Kara.
I officially giving up on this as it's not like her others which have kept my attention.

This book revolves around four different people.
Each chapter is told by a different character and flows nicely. A lot happens over the course of one day.
I enjoyed each character and their story. It has a nice romance. It’s another really good by this author

Again I’ve got to start by saying no one does the ‘book in a day’ in the lives of a group of characters like this author
This time we meet a set of new ( and a reference to a couple of old favourites ) people whose lives are about to be turned upside down in love, work, where they live and family politics…..all set around Glasgow airport and links to each other that none of them could even have dreamed of
I loved every bit and as always was laughing with them, feeling their sorrow and willing them on to make the right decisions…..of course none of it happens easily and every page there is a new challenge or crisis or decision to make……most of which can and do change lives forever
The writing is superb, immediately you are there with each of them and soon they are friends and you are ‘in the book’ as well as reading it
I can’t tell you how much I love these books but honestly if you have never tried one then this is the ideal one to start

This was a very heartwarming read with such a mix of amazing characters and told from four different perspectives over the course of a single day. Each of the main characters is having a very emotional day for different reasons and a lot happens for each which all culminates at Glasgow airport, Shari does a wonderful job of telling events from each perspective in short times frames through the day and there’s some brilliant overlaps which work so well. A lot can happen in a day and that’s definitely true here for each of the four and there’s highs and lows for each, I love the references to characters from previous books and it all just blends so well and the uplifting Epilogue just rounds off tje story so fabulously.

Four threads about different people each facing calamities of one sort or another, the ones that life tends to throw at us to see what we are really made of. Kara is meant to be jetting off to her dream wedding only things aren’t going to plan. TV Star Ollie has just been dealt the final straw with his girlfriend Sienna via video- one that is all over the internet. Alice goes to the funeral of the mother of a past close friend and finds out more than she bargained for and Zac has also had his plans change at the last minute. Can they each finally find some sort of stability they each crave?
Shari has a wonderful talent. Not only a great plot but especially of characters that I find myself quickly engaging with and wanting to find out more. This keeps the pages so easily turning and I could easily have read this in one sitting had real life not got in the way. It's a very real life scenario, things we have either been through or know someone who has which gives empathy and understanding. A brilliant, compelling book putting the reader right into the heart (in every sense) of the story. I love all of Shari’s books and each one tops the rest in one way or another. A treasure of a read, a hug in a book. Five big stars.

I love Shari Low’s books because she always delivers a heartfelt story stuffed with emotion and well-crafted characters. I always appreciate the multiple narratives that she weaves together and the intricate relationships she presents. Her stories are compelling, powerful, hopeful and beautifully written.
This time, I also enjoyed meeting up with Alice and Val from ‘One Long Weekend’, Tress from ‘One Day With You,’ and Bernadette from ‘One Day Last Summer’ and seeing how they’ve navigated their personal trauma and come to terms with their own ‘heart conditions.’
I was swept away by a compelling story about characters on difficult journeys and appreciated the great twists, escalating tension, and realistic characters dealing with heartbreak, loss, and setbacks.
Low writes fantastic contemporary fiction!
