Avery and Logan had the same goals and interests - to help the needy.
Avery has an accident and loses two years of her memory, Logan doesn't seem to be the man she remembers from the past.

This is a very tense and suspenseful novel. I wondered if Avery was mistaken in her feelings, or if she was being gaslighted by Logan!
There was a massive twist at the end, one that I didn't expect.
Well written and I am sure this book will be enjoyed by psychological thriller readers.

Thanks to Netgalley and Inkubator Books for the ARC.

Rowen Chambers’ Love You to Death is an enthralling tale of secrets, lies, and resilience. This gripping story weaves together psychological tension and emotional depth, offering readers a rollercoaster of twists while delivering a deeply empowering narrative about strength and self-discovery.

At the heart of the story is Avery, a protagonist whose journey is as compelling as it is harrowing. Chambers expertly navigates Avery’s transformation, showing how she confronts the web of deceit around her and emerges stronger for it. Her growth comes at a cost, but it’s this complexity—the sacrifices, the pain, and ultimately the triumph—that makes her character so relatable and inspiring.

The twists in Love You to Death are expertly crafted, keeping readers guessing while building tension at every turn. The plot unfolds like a puzzle, each revelation more shocking than the last, yet every piece falls perfectly into place by the end. Despite the darker themes of betrayal and manipulation, the story has an underlying current of empowerment, reminding readers of the strength it takes to confront and rise above adversity.

Chambers’ writing is sharp and evocative, drawing you into Avery’s world and making it impossible to put the book down. The balance between suspense and emotional depth ensures that the story resonates on multiple levels, appealing to fans of both psychological thrillers and character-driven narratives.

Love You to Death is a must-read for anyone who loves stories of resilience wrapped in layers of intrigue. With its unforgettable protagonist and tightly woven plot, it’s a book that will stay with you long after the final page.

I couldn't put this book down and read in one very short sitting on a commute. It was perfectly paced and kept me guessing all the way through

When Avery wakes up from a terrible traumatic brain injury, she finds her husband looking after her with a lot of love and car, but when it becomes too much to the point of being treated like a child, she sees a whole other side to him. With her memories being missing for the past two years and Logan telling her that she's remembering things that aren't real, she doesn't know what to believe.

This was an interesting psychological thriller but I would have liked the story to have started with us seeing only the good side of Logan and for there to be much more suspense; it was easy to figure out most of the story. It did get better after the 50% mark with a twist near the end too.

I always enjoy this kind of genre.

Avery has lost her memory and her husband Logan is just perfect.
When she begins to have flashes of memory she wonders if things are as good as she led to believe.

This is a great pyschological read, I loved the characters and the story development was brilliant. I love a good storyteller and this author did a good job. I was gripped.

The story unfolded with drama and intrigue and even though this plotline has been done more than once there were a few surprises along the way.

Her marriage seemed perfect. Until her memory came back.

Avery feels lucky to have married such a wonderful man. Logan’s been the perfect husband, helping to piece her life back together after a traumatic brain injury erased her memories.

But Avery’s admiration for Logan turns to concern when she recalls past moments which seem sinister and frightening. Logan insists these memories aren’t real. That what she remembers never actually happened.

So why do these unsettling flashes feel so vivid? And why don’t they match Logan’s version of their perfect life together?

The more Avery remembers, the more she doubts Logan. Is her mind playing tricks on her, or is her husband hiding a terrible secret?

And what will he do if she gets too close to remembering it?

Loved it. Will recommend to others

I LOVED THE BOOK! I have read all of Frieda McFadden’s books and feel like the style is very similar. The characters in this book were so well developed and I truly could not put the book down until I finished it! It made me very interested in reading other titles by this author, and I have shared the information with my coworkers in our book club.

Love You to Death sizzles with deceit, tension, suspense and nail-biting anxiety. I was on tenterhooks the entire time and was incredulous at the twists and turns. The reader learns a few things upfront which is incredible if done well but lackluster if not. Well. The tension almost hurt my gut in the best way and got more and more gripping as the chapters went on. The ending is superb! Author Rowen Chambers certainly has a knack for writing characters, ranging from likeable to loathsome, evoking a kaleidoscope of emotions. This multiple perspective story unravels with flashbacks which create an even more pervasive atmosphere. Oh, how I loved it and crave more!

Avery suffered from a traumatic head injury which caused confusion, uncertainty and frustration. She lost two full years of memories so must rely on what others tell her is true. But her devoted husband of three years dotes on her and cares for her while she recovers from her injury as well as her autoimmune illness. Logan is also handsome and ambitious. Women envy what they had. But appearances can be deceiving and Avery begins to feel uncomfortable in certain situations. Snippets of memories flit through her mind but are they real? Her brain injury is only part of the trauma she's suffered. She doesn't know whether she can trust her neighbours, sister, husband and friends. She is losing her sense of self and feels stifled. What she discovers shatters her world.

Pondering your next thriller? Make it this one.

My sincere thank you to Inkubator Books and NetGalley for providing me with an early digital copy of this engrossing novel.

Absolutely loved this book! I’m a sucker for an Amnesia story, and this one didn’t disappoint. I swear I was losing my mind right along with our MC and I had no idea what were truths, lies, misdirection or false memories. This book kept me reading late into the night and I couldn’t wait to get back to read more.

The beginning was a bit slow for my liking but the moment we got to part 2 and could see what happend a year ago I was hocked. And the plot twist at the 80% mark... amazing.

In 'Love You to Death,' a young woman named Avery wakes up from a traumatic brain injury with no memory of the last two years of her life. Avery remembers her life up until the last two years, but all her memories from last two years are just gone. The one bright light in Avery's current life is her caring, loving husband, Logan. Avery feels lucky to have Logan as her husband. Well, lucky until the person who Avery remembers herself being doesn't completely align with the wife that Logan describes. Is it Avery's brain injury? Is Avery just confused? Or, is there something very different going on?

'Love you to Death' is a super twisty thriller that kept me guessing. Just when I thought I had things figured out, the author flipped the story around, and I had to begin guessing all over again.

Part One of the book takes place in the current time. Part Two occurs in the missing years of Avery's memory. Part One really sucked me into the story. When I began to read Part Two, all I could think was, "No no no... Please don't give me all the answers now!!!" Thankfully, my disappointment was soon replaced with intrigue as the author masterfully gave just enough teasers to give additional background without ruining the thriller ride. After Part Two, the book's remaining chapters switched between the POVs of the main characters. I don't think I've read many books where the POV chapter switching begin near the end of the book, but in this book it worked and didn't destroy the flow.

I enjoyed reading 'Love You To Death.' If you love twisty thrillers, give this book a read! Thank you to NetGalley, Rowen Chambers, and Inkubator Books for providing an ARC of this book.

My rating is 3.95 stars!

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy! I finished this book in just two days. I love how the author writes Avery's character in a way that it actually feels immersive and I truly felt her confusing and willing to understand what happened . The suspense is sharp, the pacing spot-on, and the memory trauma angle adds a fresh twist to the thriller genre.

While I predicted some of the plot twists (a side effect of reading only thriller books), they were executed in a satisfying way that kept me hooked. Avery’s confusion and desperation felt raw and authentic, though I wished for a much deeper analysis and depth to understand other characters to fully round out the story hence the slightly lower rating.

If you loved *Behind Closed Doors* by B.A. Paris, this is one to add to your 2025 TBR. Ive never heard of this author but I'll definitely be checking out other books after this!
(wanted to post a goodreads review but couldnt find the book)

Thank you NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an early copy of Love You To Death. Love the cover, that’s what grabbed my eye. The beginning was a bit unrealistic with the writing and how Logan was but then you picked up on how extremely sleazy he truly is. I’ve never read about a more loathsome character than him, I truly despised what he did to Avery with the gaslighting. I’ve already texted a friend saying read this as soon as it comes out!!!! Fantastic plot, many twists, Awesome ending!!!!! Loved, Loved, Loved this book! Thank you again.
