A heartfelt second-chance romance set in the close-knit world of Meadowlark, Wyoming, Wild and Wrangled delivers cowboy charm, emotional depth, and slow-burn tension.

✨ A single mom rebuilding her life 💫 A first love she never forgot 🏡 Forced proximity & undeniable chemistry

Sage’s writing shines in small-town dynamics and found family, making Cam and Dusty’s journey feel authentic and deeply personal. Their history adds layers to their romance, though Cam’s hesitations sometimes slow the pacing. Still, Dusty’s sweetness and devotion make this a swoon-worthy read.

If you love cowboy romances, emotional reunions, and small-town charm, this one is worth picking up!

End of an era and what an incredible book to end Rebel Blue Ranch series with. Cam and Dusty has always been the couple who’s intrigued me since the first time we heard about them and for them to finally be out in the world with their extraordinary love story is such a huge moment for me.

They totally gave everything and more. Second chance at first love, high school sweethearts turned strangers (which HURT) and tie that up a little pretty cowboy bow. Also the sadness and pain I went through with Dusty when he found out Cam was pregnant with Riley in that flashback and didn’t know the story behind everything. I CRIED. MY HEART WAS BREAKING IN A MILLION PIECES. He def thought she moved on from him.

They had that invisible string kinda love where even if you’re not in each other’s lives, you’re still connected somehow. Cam was just such a sweetheart and the best mom to Riley, like she would literally marry a man she didn’t love just to ensure her daughter’s future. Really don’t know what I should do now that this series is over, like how am I suppose to move on from this? Dusty being a fictional character and not a real life man is what horror stories are made of. Just vile. I need him irl. PLS. I’m shook in my cowboy boots of how much I loved these two. My two babies.

Also I can’t write this review without mentioning the found family relationship between Dusty and Teddy, Cam and Ada and Cam and Gus. They all had such sibling dynamics, I love them so much.

Thank you @thedialpress, @quercusbooks and my love @authorlylasage for the ARC!

✨ What to except:

— high school sweethearts to strangers
— forced proximity

"I'll love you until we're dust in the wind, Camille Ashwood"

You know when you read a series, usually you have your favourite book, which is normally book one or two as that's the start of the series. For me, oh no it had to be book four, the final book that we get with the Rebel Blue Ranch Family AND WHAT A FREAKING BOOK.

Book four follows Cam and Dusty, We have met these two throughout the series, Cam is the mother of Riley, the spunky young daughter of Gus Ryder, so she has history with Rebel Blue Ranch and the Ryder family. She comes from a well to do family, but they are cold not like the friendly and welcoming Ryder clan. She has done a lot in her time, but the most recent thing to turn her world upside down is to be stood up at the alter by her Fiancée. Rocking up at the local bar in her wedding dress, and locking herself in the bathroom, what else could go wrong.

Dusty Tucker is the perfect example of a Cowboy. He works for the Ryder family at Rebel Blue Ranch and has ties to Meadowlark, Wyoming. He was born and raised there, and his mother still lives in their family home. Dusty however has been travelling all of his life, he doesn't stick around for too long before he is off on another adventure, but things change with the news that Cam is now not getting married.

These two have CHEMISTRY. They also have a long history going back 15 years. There is pining, there is snark, there is mutual respect, there is also hesitation on both of their parts. As I mentioned I don't usually like the final book in the series, but this one had me in a chokehold, I was so shouting encouragement to them both and I was happy with the outcome! Did they have times where I wanted to bang there heads together, ABSOLUTELY. Did I smile, laugh, kick my feet and maybe giggle? Yes I did.

Cam and Dusty are honestly made for each other and I am glad that they got their own book to show what strong characters they are and how much they brought to the series. Lyla Sage definitely has a way with words and creating family and characters that you can't help but fall in love with and want to stay with you forever.

I loved this series and I’m sad that this was the last book. I love the small town feel and the way the characters have developed throughout the series. This book felt a bit cringey at times but I adored Dusty’s character and the themes of found family and first love.

A romantic story that kept me hooked, dreaming, and rooting for the charachters. Well done

I have absolutely loved this series but sadly this one didn't hit me in the same way. I'm never a massive fan of 2nd chance romances anyways and I just didnt like how Dusty was treated in this one. The FMC just rubbed me up the wrong way which is all down to personal preference. Im sure lots of other readers will love this one and I will still read anything Lyla Sage writes as I really do enjoy her writing.

This was a beautiful way to end the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Dusty and Cam are perfect together. The second Chance vibes were immaculate, these two although they’ve been apart for so long were destined to be together.
I felt like it was a bit slow to start with but it picked up and i honestly love these two.

Is it my favourite book of the series? You bet. Cam and Dusty’s story has been lingering through out the Rebel Blue Ranch series and now it’s their time to shine. And shine they do.

Give me a second chance romance as the final book of a series and I’ll sign my life away to read it ❤️‍🩹 but this one… this is one of the best SC romances I’ve read 🥹

My hot take
❤️‍🩹 The flashbacks are giving Dawson’s Creek vibes
❤️‍🩹 That consuming first love 🧎🏼‍♀️🧎🏼‍♀️🧎🏼‍♀️
❤️‍🩹 Dusty’s loyalty and how he knows what Cam needs
❤️‍🩹 The cheering and celebrating at Riley’s soccer game
❤️‍🩹 Wes and Ada being Wes and Ada 🫂
❤️‍🩹 The bonus epilogue will stay with me. It’s one of those 🥹
❤️‍🩹 DUSTY MF TUCKER – I’m on my knees for this man
❤️‍🩹 Cam finding herself and her voice with her parents and for being a kick-ass single mom
❤️‍🩹 The Ryder’s 🫶🏻
❤️‍🩹 Terrance

I am beyond grateful for this ARC, thank you Lyla Sage, NetGalley and Quercus Books for granting my wish! ✨ you made my year!

This book was honestly the best book to end the series. Usually I’m not a fan of second chance romance but dusty & cam were the sweetest story with just a little bit of spice.

Dusty was genuinely the cutest sweetest man which you wouldn’t expect!

I loved the flashback memories and I loved how cam came
Into her own in this story.

Lyla will always be one of my fave cowboy romance authors. The closing chapter for the series brought me to tears.

I can't believe this is the last book in the series. I have loved every book and I can't wait to see what's next for Lyla.

Second chance isn't something I reach for unless it's part of a series like this. But, these two were made for each other and deserved their second chance. The flashback chapters were perfect and really showed their love for each other. The notes were so damn cute.

I've been intrigued by Cam from the start of this series and I really wanted to give her a hug. She carries so much and I loved that Dusty just knows what she needs. He's so damn suportive, protective and always there when needed. He's a walking green flag. Plus the blonde hair, nose ring and tattoos don't hurt. Seeing him interact with Riley was also adorable.

I adore the massive blended family and how they all love and support each other. It was so great to catch up with everyone else and see what the past couples were up to. The found family is perfection. The way Amos takes everyone into his home and gives them pep talks melts my heart.

Wild and Wrangled was such a bittersweet end to the Rebel Blue series — it truly feels like the end of an era. These books have always felt so cozy and comforting, and this final instalment was no different.

Cam and Dusty were so cute together. Their chemistry leapt off the page, and the flashbacks to their past relationship and how they met added so much depth to their story. Watching Dusty pine for Cam? Absolute perfection. His quiet longing tugged at my heart in all the best ways. And Cam — sweet, fiercely independent Cam — was a joy. She brought such emotional strength to the story while still being vulnerable and real.

The pacing throughout felt just right . And the side characters added so much heart. Seeing familiar faces again made it feel like one last reunion with characters we've come to love so much.

If I had one gripe, it’s that the third act conflict didn’t land for me. It felt a little forced and unnecessary, especially considering how well-developed their relationship already was. But it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.

A warm, heartfelt goodbye to Rebel Blue. I’ll miss this world and these characters more than I expected.

Thanks to NetGalley & Quercus for giving me a chance to read the ARC!

Dusty and Cam are the perfect example of a successful second chance romance. He's the ultimate man, written by a female author.
She's an amazing mom and a fantastic role model for their daughter. They found each other once and then they found each other again.
I think that's so beautiful! I don't know if there's such a thing as soul mates, but if there are, Dusty and Cam would be them.
The dual timeline with flashbacks was so well done. I sometimes don't like the then-and-now technique, but it really worked here. Man, did it ever! The little bits about Cam and Dusty's past really helped me understand where they came from and where they're going.
My favorite part of the whole story was when Gus and Cam had a heart-to-heart, and Teddy did the same with Dusty.
That was just so sweet and well-written. Riley is the focus of their world, and as a parent, I totally loved that.
Their second chance at true love is a gradual process as they get to know each other better.
The longing glances, unabashed flirtations, and mutual affection for Riley make this book a magical experience for me.
The bonus chapter provides a satisfying conclusion, bringing the story full circle in a beautiful way that leaves me with fond memories of the series.

This was a sweet way to wrap up the rebel blue ranch series, and it was so bittersweet getting to say goodbye to Meadowlark and these characters.

I loved Dusty, the man that he is, and the way he was with Cam and Riley will never not make me emotional.

However, it did fall short a little on my expectations. I still liked it but it just wasn’t as punchy as I’d hoped.

The final book in this series. And I enjoyed it so much. The build up to cam and dusty’s relationship was exactly what they needed and I loved that there were flashbacks to their high school days, it really made me understand their connection so much more. I honestly didn’t feel like much happened for ages but as soon as they started to get together again I was sold! Riley once again stole the show for me. What an absolute brilliant character and so well written! I loved seeing cam’s story. Very sad this series has ended but also very excited to see what Lyla does next!!

I can’t believe it’s the end of this series, and what an ending

Touched upon several times, the build up to Cam & Dusty throughout this series sets the scene for a most wonderful reunion of lovers who spend this book rediscovering who they are to each other before realising it was them all along.

I loved this story and adored this series, with the depth of emotion, character and world building really shining throughout

i must say… i’ve never identified with a fmc so much as i did with cam. she is me, i am her… we’re the same person. out upbringing was so similar (maybe not the financial part but you get the gist of it!) and i felt like her story was the closest to my heart…
dusty on the other hand was everything a girl like cam needed. the fact that he waited for her so many years, that was still in love with her… i swear, this only happens in books! loved his relationship with riley, they built it from the ground up and it was so mesmerising to see!

the only bad thing i had to say is… gus. he needed to chill the hell up and stop putting himself in their relationship! thankfully he redeemed himself at the end.

it’s such a perfect ending to this beautiful series. i am full of hope for other books by lyla! she deserves so much recognition. you can see how much her writing improved from done and dusted to now!

When I wished for Wild & Wrangled on NetGalley, I truly didn’t think it would be granted, but it was, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

I loved this story so much - I don’t think my review can do it any justice. Wild & Wrangled is a second chance romance, full of such big feelings - I didn’t expect tears, but they fell.

We’ve met Dusty & Cam in previous books and wow, these two are the definition of right people, wrong time. When the right time arrived Dusty was exactly where he was meant to be - loyal, supportive and protective.

The relationship between Dusty & Cam is, magnetic, messy, full of tension and meant to be. Their shared history is full of passion, heartbreak and unfinished business.

Dusty is so tender and vulnerable that you can’t help but fall in love with him along the way. Cam is right to be cautious, she has adorable Riley to consider. She is fierce and the moments between her and Dusty are just so soft and beautiful.

This wasn’t just a romance about a second chance at happiness, it is both Dusty & Cam learning to trust again, facing their past fears, and hoping they can finally have the love they thought was lost.

The flashbacks with these two were perfect, we learnt about their history and how they got to where they are now. The NOTES - oh my heart with those notes!!

I’ve loved every book in this series, and while I’m so sad to say goodbye to these characters, I’m endlessly thankful Lyla brought them into our lives.

Thank you to the author and publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.

Content warning: toxic parents and upbringing for a main character, mentioning of grief of parent's death (historical), past relationship struggles

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a digital copy to review. All thoughts are my own.

This was a quaint way to wrap the Rebel Blue Ranch series up. I enjoyed learning more about Cam and Dusty through the past and present style of presenting their story. Overall, they're both well suited to each other and despite the slow burn and hesitation surrounding their second chance romance, it's very obvious from the beginning they're still so in love with the other - especially Dusty. When the romance wasn't focusing on drama or side issues, it was a very wholesome reunion between two childhood lovers.

What I did struggle with, however, was a lot of the internal dialogue repetition. Dusty is a cinnamon roll MMC, but as the story progressed, I did feel like he became too unrealistic. Cam's story was intriguing with her struggles of being a mother after growing up without core fundamentals about love and belonging and family after the emotional neglect from her rich parents. I liked exploring her trying to navigate how to be a better mother to Riley and give her daughter what she missed out on as a child. Equally, though, the drama around her parents was unnecessary at times, and I found the way Cam handled some obstacles really unrelatable. I did like the inclusion of supporting characters in this final story, however, and the last portion where it gives the final epilogue to this series was so well done, I cried. I admit, that little portion there bumped my rating of this story up to 4 stars.

I'm glad I got to enjoy the ride from the ranch, and I look forward to what this author creates next.

I had such a fun time with this one! I haven’t read the others from the series (yet, since receiving this ARC I’ve gone out and bought the first 3 which feels like a glowing endorsement in itself) but I don’t think it mattered that much. I loved Dusty’s character! And as it’s a second chance romance, I enjoyed the inclusion of the notes and throwback chapters so we learned about how they originally got together and got back together on tandem. There was just one spanner that was thrown in near the end which I thought was a little unnecessary which dropped this down to a 4 for me - I think the story could’ve wrapped up without throwing in a really tenuous third act conflict right at the end.

Thank you to Quercus Books and NetGalley for the ARC!
