Set in Darlington this is a creepy and pacy read.

It was an 'up and down' read fcor me as I felt the plot a little too unreal. But the characters are freat and I was filled with suspense as to what would happen next.

The author did a good job with their desctiptive dialogue and Darlington is really brought to life. I Live in Durham so I kind of know the place but to those who haven't been I can imagine they would think they have.

I haven't read the other three books in this series but I am going to check them out and do some catching up ..

I’d never heard of this author prior to reading this book but I obtained it as my very first ARC read so needless to say, I was pretty excited to dive into this story. I was very impressed with this book and the twists were jaw dropping! I did find the descriptions of the various vehicles everyone drove a little over the top but other than that I feel like it was laid out very well and I appreciated the wrap up at the end. If it had just ended where it did I wouldn’t have liked that as much.

The police receive a call. ‘Please help. He’s coming.’ The small voice is barely a whisper., Who’s coming? Are you in danger?’
‘He has a knife. He killed her.’ The line goes dead! Great read!!! Wow what a chilling thriller!! This definitely had some creepy moments! It also had great suspense, intriguing, murder, mystery, abuse, and some wild twists and turns! The story was very interesting! I highly recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Thank you to NetGalley and Joffe Books for my copy of The Little Girl In The Wardrobe.
Although the book moved fast, I thought some of the storyline was a little far fetched.
But it was an entertaining read.

I haven't read the other books in the series. Didn't realize that there were more until I actually came to Goodreads to write a review.

The storyline, the characters, the intense moments, and the plot were all 5 stars. I read this in one setting because the plot had me going. I loved the story, and it was so different from other thrillers that I thought I was in a horror movie or about to get pranked. It confused me in all the right ways.

The one piece of advice that I would give, knowing that this is the fourth book in the series, is not to put the initials in front of every name. We know who they are, and DCI, DI, DT (if you know what I mean) gets a little annoying, especially when it does every other time the name is mentioned.

Thank you NetGalley and Joffee Books for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book. I found it to be thrilling until the end. I couldn't put it down. It was a spine tingling roller coaster ride that keeps you awake at night, and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this one.

Thank you Net Galley ARC

THE LITTLE GIRL IN THE WARDROBE BY C. J. GRAYSON.
Release date set for the 16th of January 2025.
"NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN THIS TOWN".
This is the 4th book in the Tanzy and Byrd Darlington series.
This series is set in the author's home town and it's also my home town so it's brilliant to read books that you know exactly where hes talking about.
The first 3 books were OUTSTANDING and I've rated them all 5 stars.
C. J. Grayson is a brilliant author.
He brings life to the town, hes created amazing detectives that you fall in love with.
This 4th book is just something else entirely.
The story line/plot is so good and i don't think i've read anything like it before.
His best work yet.
BRAVO C.J. GRAYSON BRAVO.
5 STARS.
I very much look forward to the next one.
