A wonderful tale of a relationship, from the point of view of the wife, from the heady days of starry-eyed romance, to marriage, to parenthood, to the realisation that her husband is slipping away from her and the bitter recriminations, confrontations, and then ensuing reconciliations that follow.
Beautifully written, this 180 page novel may be small, but it's perfectly formed. Wonderfully paced, equally heartbreaking, hopeful, witty and wise, I can't recommend it enough! Well worth a couple of hours of your time, once you start you'll want to finish this in one sitting.
