I enjoyed this book - I thought the antagonist's motivations were interesting and I definitely didn't see it coming. However, the protagonist becomes less sympathetic as the story progresses and although her husband isn't much of a stand-up guy either, the way the narrative blames him for everything feels unjustified. I also think the plot with Jo's past wasn't handled well, but it does influence my interpretation of how she reacted to the antagonist.

I’d like to thank Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Three Little Lies’ written by Danielle Stewart in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
Jo and Everett Hargrove are asked if their family will host a girl from England for six weeks. There are some minor bumps along the way but the girl, seventeen-year-old Eden, gets on well with their children Megan twelve and seven-year-old Ashton although she isn’t always the best example for Megan. Jo is over-protective of her children but she has good reason to be, then Eden goes missing and Jo’s mother Ivy arrives from England to wait until she’s found.
Although the initial description of ‘Three Little Lies’ didn’t quite match what was written, it’s an intriguing story of interesting characters and how secrets and lies can destroy relationships. Three-quarters of the way through I guessed where the story was heading but there was so much drama, suspense and twists that it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of this well-written domestic thriller and I was just glad to be proved right. I was completely engaged with the story from page one as the tension steadily builds until the final chapters are reached and the truth revealed. I recommend this novel for anyone who enjoys a twisty thriller.

I really enjoyed this, and it took several turns that I didn’t expect! It was a page turning, easy to read and engaging book, with just a few niggly bits that didn’t quite work. Overall a great read, and I would definitely recommend it to other thriller fans!

Danielle Stewart's Three Little Lies delivers an exploration of betrayal, as a mother's carefully constructed world shatters under the weight of her husband's deceit. The tension rises with each secret and carefully constructed lie, creating an atmosphere of distrust.
I was consumed by the story's pace and the growing sense of dread. It was a true page-turner. I found myself not wanting to put the book down to see how the story would unravel.
This is a must-read for anyone who enjoys domestic suspense with complex characters and a plot that keeps you guessing until the very end.
Thank you to Bookouture for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

This was an incredibly addictive and fast paced thriller, you could easily devour it in an afternoon. It follows a family and their experiences after inviting an exchange student into their home. Whilst parts of it did feel slightly farfetched and frustrating, the flow and storyline was really gripping and had me saying "just one more chapter", a brilliant read

I was very excited when I started reading this book, because it simply sounded like it would be a great story. After reading for not too long I got worried, because this book has the number one theme I cannot stand reading - overprotecting mother stories. I find them to be something I can't handle at all because they are repetitive, and quite frankly boring. I was quite worried this would be the main thing about this book, but luckily I was proved wrong. I did find the worried mother stage being too long, but after the story took a turn, I started enjoying the story to the fullest. My favourite character in this book is for some reason the daughter in the family, a clever 12-year-old girl.

A true thriller novel, full of so many twists and turns and very interesting and unique characters. I found myself constantly on the edge of my sheet and needing to read more.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is my first book by Danielle Stewart and I am so impressed by her writing style especially her ability to hook the reader in in just the first chapter. I can honestly say I was obsessed with the story from the first few pages.
The story follows Jo, Everett, Megan and Ashton - a seemingly "perfect" family. They are wealthy, the children attend a prestigious private school and they live in a nice suburban neighborhood. But of course, the family isn't all that meets the eye. Bring in Eden, an exchange student staying with Jo and her family for 6 weeks and things start going awry.
The majority of the story is told through Jo's perspective, an overbearing, overprotective helicopter mom. Danielle does a great job of showcasing Jo's character's need to be in control and how that desire and need for control may be her demise. I liked that as the story progressed we see chapters from different characters perspectives which offered insight into why they were acting a certain way in previous chapters. The characters story arcs were amazing and characters all had depth and grew as the story unfolded. The twists and turns kept coming throughout the entire book and kept you guessing and wanting to know more.
Absolutely add this thriller to your TBR! I'll be reading more of Danielle Stewart in the near future after that amazing novel!

Anxious and stressed, Josephine a tightly wound helicopter mum. And then there are the lies. But Joe is determined to keep her family together no matter what. An interesting and engaging psychological thriller!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC!

So many secrets. So many lies. Alot more than three! This books is about so much more than the blurb..and ultimately for me about what a mother's love does, can do, and will do to protect those she loves.
I loved this one. The author did a great job of ramping of the intensity, intrigue and angst for what was to come next.
Jo was at the centre of this and she came across as both beleiavaand flawed. But really a mum, and how she navigates a shitty husband!
Things come into her life which end uo causing more rifts to.come undone.
A brilliant read.

I could not put this one down. It was an amazing read! So many twists and lies. This one will have you reading through the night. A gripping psychological thriller. Loved it! Realistic plot line and charecters.

I absolutely loved this fast paced thriller!
Jo, a mum of two is struggling, with her husband hardly around, her son's severe allergies and her tween daughters attitude, she agrees to take on an exchange student in the hope it might repair her relationship with her daughter and she's got experience managing a child with allergies so feels she is the best foot for a teenage girl to stay with for 6 weeks.
I've read a lot of thrillers and kinda thought I knew where this one was heading but I was totally wrong. This is a wild ride and the secrets and twists keep coming!
I read this in one sitting as couldn't put it down, I absolutely needed to know what came next!
I loved how the main character was relatable but also flawed and unreliable! But her husband....ergh don't get me started!
I want to share more but I really think it's best to go in knowing as little as possible. This is an amazing thriller, not to be missed!

had high hopes for this psychological thriller releasing this month from Danielle Stewart but I found that the description didn’t really match how the book was written. It was still a good read in my eyes and was fast paced, the progression of the story made sense and the underlying tension from the main characters was palpable. The main idea’s were definitely clear and some of the twists were interesting to say the least. One of which I didn’t see coming and actually had to back track a chapter because I had missed a certain part. A theme that shone through in this book was also a mother's love/care for what she would do to protect her children even if it made her come across a certain way. I found the last chapter didn’t add to the story at all even though some of the context was sprinkled throughout the book but it didn’t add anything to the main idea of the book.
ARC from @ and releasing on 13/03
Thank you for the opportunity to read this pre-release.

Three Little Lies is an engaging and emotional novel that centers around the complexities of family dynamics, trust, and secrets. The story follows Jo, who opens her home to an exchange student, only to find that welcoming a stranger into their lives brings unexpected challenges. As Jo, her two children and husband navigate their new family arrangement, they begin to uncover hidden truths that test their relationships and force them to confront their own secrets.
Danielle Stewart does a fantastic job of creating tension and suspense, with each character’s emotional journey unfolding in unexpected ways. I loved the depth of the family relationships and the complexities of navigating trust and change within a household. The pacing was just right, keeping me hooked without feeling rushed, and the twists were cleverly done - I honestly didn’t see some of them coming!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the chance to read this ARC, I’ll definitely be checking out more by this author.

Is there a perfect mother? The perfect housewife?
Can one say trying to be perfect can get a bit out of hand?
And, lets add in so many lies and secrets…..
Perfect storm for a gripping psychological thriller that will have you reading way late into the night.
This was one crazy story!
Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and the author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This book grabs you from the first page—no slow burn, no buildup, just straight into the drama. While that makes for a quick, compulsive read, I think it loses something by not letting the tension and darkness build more gradually. The atmosphere had so much potential but never quite reached the level of suspense I was hoping for.
The twist with Eden? Fantastic. Easily my favorite part of the book. But the mother’s “big secret” felt... underwhelming. After all the setup, I expected something way more shocking, and when it was finally revealed, I actually groaned out loud. Still, the fast pacing and constant twists kept me entertained, and I flew through it. Solid read, but I wanted more.

3.5 ⭐️
Thank you netgally for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was very different from what I was expecting. I expected the book to start at the date night and the three lies that were talked about on the back of the book. I did like to get to know everybody and what the situation was with Eden there. It just didn’t really feel like a thriller to me.
In my opinion they did the plot twist too early. It came around 70 procent of the book which kinda made me loose the tention for the rest of the book. The plot twist was very good tho! I was not expecting that. I also liked the multiple pov’s at the end, the first chapter where you can read Eden’s pov was *chefs kiss*

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
Three Little Lies was such a good book. It started out slow (my only dislike) but once it picked up, it was so good. I honestly thought it was similar to some other thrillers that I have read but then it turned out to be completely different. The twists and turns we something that I did not see coming, I already really appreciated how the ending wrapped everything up.
I will be checking out more books by Danielle Stewart as I really enjoyed this book.

Danielle Stewart did not disappoint in this thriller. I've read my fair share of thrillers and felt like this one was starting out the same at the others but I was incredibly wrong.
The beginning does start at a slower pace but it picks up and keeps you second guessing until the end

This book keeps you on your toes. Initially you think’Oh I know where this is going’ but then … change of thought and be taken down another thought track. Thisis masterful writing which I so admire. Who is telling the truth? Whose truth is more understandable? The characters, who at times you love or dislike, are real and totally believable. This book had me hooked from the get go and I felt quite sad when it ended.
