Delightfully gossipy, Tiny Daggers is the story of two ex-best friends, both called Holly, who have both ended up living a luxe lifestyle in Miami. The first Holly moved there with her banker husband; their lifestyle has everything you could possibly want, pools, summer houses, luxury clubs, staff to attend to your every whim - she's pretty happy and settled. Then second Holly turns up and starts taking over her friends, her life, her family. What's going on, is Holly mark 2 trying to take everything from the first Holly, and if so, why?

A fun beach read.

This book genuinely had me on my toes, I felt scared to turn the page and I guess that’s what thrillers are supposed to be doing? So it honestly delivered on the premise. At one point I committed the heicnous crime of flipping to the last pages just to know what happens at the end.

In all honesty I didn't expect to rate "Tiny Daggers" this high almost until the end of the story, when I asked myself the question: "Who is the real crazy-maker in here"? and actually got a satisfying answer. Based on the perspectives of two Hollies, this book explores the issue of warped reality and how gaslighting and manipulation may alter one's perception of reality and their actions.

The narrative slowly peels off the layers of the complex history between two protagonists, their past and present hurts. In the spirit of "domestic noir" the backdrop of "Tiny Daggers" feels claustrophobic, despite of the opulence of the world in which both characters function. The story feels quite dark and becomes even darker towards the end and the very last sentence.

Good idea and very well executed.

This was so TWISTY AND BITCHY ugh! I loved every minute, had me on edge trusting no one, such a creepy and insidious vibe throughout it, can't recommend this enough to fans of thrillers!

Holly Jones has the perfect life, until her past shows up in the form of her childhood best friend, Holly Wild. “Good” Holly vs “Bad” Holly has been a lifelong theme for these two frenemies- but which is which?

Twisty, dark, and I really enjoyed the authors writing style. I’m always a sucker for an unreliable narrator!

Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
This was a fun and gripping tale of a cat and mouse game between two old friends, secrets and revenge.
I found the storyline gripping and I didn't want to stop reading this book.

Thanks to netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

with two best friends named good holly and bad holly their two lives merge together in ways we never expect.

the book intrigued me as a reader, but i never felt fully immersed into the characters world.

i personally enjoyed the point of view switch up in the second half, so we get to see both characters mindsets.

as a revenge story it was pretty far fetched - yet still enjoyable.

Tiny Daggers is a fast-paced, dramatic thriller that follows the lives of two Hollys as they collide in the tense environment that is the elite housewives of Miami. Having left England, Holly Jones believes she has the perfect life in Miami with her husband and two children. She has the huge house, the gorgeous pool, the designer clothes, and the best girlfriends. Then, unexpectedly, she arrives for brunch with her girls and finds her old school friend/nemesis among them. What is the OTHER Holly doing here? As the new Holly integrates herself into the group, Holly Jones doesn't know what to expect. She fears everything she has built will soon collapse. Who is Holly Wild and what does she really want?

Tiny Daggers is well-written, fast-paced, and quite exciting. I absolutely loved the metaphor of the mosquito and how the author integrated it throughout the entire book (including the 47 daggers (chapters)). Fair warning, none of the characters are likable in this book; however, they are all quite intriguing. I could not put this book down. There are quite a few twists that I did NOT see coming. In addition to all the excitement throughout the story, I found the ending to be satisfying. I will definitely be recommending Tiny Daggers to anyone looking for a gripping, tense, drama-filled thriller

This is a story of two Holly’s. Holly Jones is living the ideal expat life in Miami when Holly Wild arrives in town and becomes part of Holly Jones’ life. We soon come to realise that these two have history. They were at school together, where Holly Jones made The Other Holly’s life a nightmare. The first half of the book is narrated from Holly Jones’ perspective. Due to a lot of detail, sometimes the pacing felt a little slow, but the characterisation is excellent. The speed ramps up in the second half which is narrated from Holly Wild’s point of view, and then the shocks start coming. The final part of the book is a whirlwind. Everything comes together but not in the way that you might expect. It took me a while to read this book but I’m really glad I stuck with it. It’s domestic noir at its best with characters you’ll love to hate.

Thank you to Caroline Corcoran, Thomas & Mercer and Netgally for my advance copy.

I really enjoyed this book. The twist i did not see coming. I love a dual POV and would have given this a higher rating if i got the POV’s at the same time, instead of one for half the book and the other for the end. i did get the impact by the end so i still enjoyed it. I did find the first half of the book slow which almost had me DNF the book but im glad i finished.

Now this had me gripped, why is Holly Wild trying to ruin Holly’s life? Why are her friends welcoming Holly Wild in? Why is Holly feeling more and more paranoid? The only answer comes at their joint birthday celebration and believe me, that kicks off a whole new level of psycho behaviour and not from who you are expecting! The story you start, is t the one you thought was coming, not even the real twist until it arrives- read this book now!

WOW was this a wild ride! At first, I empathized with Holly Jones and thought other Holly was in Miami to wreck her real-Housewives, seemingly perfect life. Everything about her just seemed...suspicious and kind of annoying. Then we're hit with a perspective shift that changes everything and makes you guess all that you've read in the first half - I love anything with an unreliable narrator!

This was a quick read that I had a hard time putting down. Some of the writing felt a little repetitive, but it was still engaging nonetheless. The ending felt a little dramatized and hard to believe, but still made for an entertaining story. Thanks so much for the ARC!

I absolutely loved this book! Start to finish the book was a wild ride. From believing I was dealing with an unreliable narrator, then mean girl behavior, to just craziness. I would absolutely recommend this book to others.

This is very cleverly written with biting prose and a plotline to match. The characters are complex and human, and the plot keeps you on your toes right until the very end of the novel. A great read.

I love a novel with a big twist in the middle and this one didn't disappoint! A really twisty, gripping page turner that really kept me guessing right up until the end. Told from two POVs, both completely believable, this is a clever psychological thriller packed full of great characters and a fantastic sense of location.

The concept of an old friendship coming back to haunt someone later in life is a common one in crime fiction. However, it's also very difficult to pull off successfully. Caroline Corcoran does that in spades - delivering a book that really feels original and contemporary.

I've never been to Miami but I almost felt I have been after reading this. It's the first book I've read by Caroline Corcoran but most certainly won't be my last!

Highly recommended!

Holly is on the brink of turning forty. She's far from her English roots and is embracing a slick Miami lifestyle that involves high-end clothes, cocktails, and Botox.
Her former best friend from her Camden schooldays (also called Holly) is over in Miami, too. The other Holly seems to be everywhere. She's taking over her friends, flirting with her husband, and buying gifts for her daughter, even inviting her for a sleepover.
Is Holly number one being paranoid or should she be seriously worried. And what exactly happened when they were at school that ripped their friendship apart?

It's a twisty, psychological thriller that has gasp inducing moments after an intriguing and creepy slow burn opening.
This is elevated writing. The opening of the book alone is attention grabbing and beautifully styled. Caroline Corcoran's skill at building up atmosphere and creating layered characters is enviable.
I loved this and devoured the book in a couple of sittings. So much fun to read.

Wow, what a fabulous book this is, I couldn't put it down!
There are 2 Hollies, good Holly and bad Holly , both from the UK, now in Miami. One is the wife of a wealthy man and has 2 children, living in luxury. The other one is living with them as the nanny. The two Hollies were best friends in London at 15 and are now on the cusp of 40.
Part 1 is about Miami Bobby and part 2 features UK Holly
and their stories are so compelling and suspenseful you won't be able to stop reading ... sooo good!

3.5⭐️
Boy this one really had me fuming, like hate reading hoping the bad guys get what's coming to them

Holly Jones is shocked when her old school friend (old school friend was said 28 times fyi) Holly Wilde shows up in Miami. They knew each other as teenagers in London and haven't spoken in 20 years. Holly Wilde slowly moves in on Holly Jones's life- becomes friends with her friends, gets along well with her pre-teen daughter, gets a job in the same office. Is Holly Jones paranoid? Or is "bad Holly" there to steal her life?

It's hard to say too much about this one without spoiling, but I will say it made me mad in the end when the proper people weren't punished. It definitely had me on the hook though, reading as fast as I could to find out what happens

Also some random thoughts:
-Hugh is a grown man who calls his wife Holly by the nicknames of Hols Bols, Holister and Hollarama. I hated him immediately.
-Holly Wilde convinces a few members of the girl group to cut back on their drinking, and they then proceed to act like Holly Jones is an alcoholic for drinking two mimosas at brunch?!
-When Holly Jones accuses her husband Hugh of cheating on her, his response is "I'm hardly Brad Pit". This is A) not a defence and B) an insult directly to your wife's face
-The inner voice of Holly Wilde is SO disparaging to women, especially Holly Jones. Like literal paragraphs about how she's aging, how she's wearing too much makeup and how all the women in the group are trying too hard.
