Really good!

This book was another winner in The Heirs series by Catherine Bybee. This book, likely the last in this series, delves into Alex's life but also provides more insight into her family and mostly her brothers. While Alex has assumed quite a bit of company management after their father died, she has also put her personal life on hold.

When the company and Alex herself are threatened, private security is hired, and Hawk comes into her life. He's got some shadows in his past but the two of them are drawn to each other. I enjoyed watching their story unfold, and the way he treated her as an equal. Also wonderful was her family and their unwavering support and love for each other.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

This is the final book of the three siblings and maybe my favorite. Alex needs protection and Hawk is the perfect choice. This book had a little of everything, suspense, intrigue, romance, family drama, and a lot of love. I enjoyed this book and the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series. I was gifted an arc from Net Galley but this is my honest review. Read this series, you won’t be disappointed.

Yas, Queen Bybee! This is the Stone sibling story I have been waiting for.

And it did not disappoint.

Alex has given up on love, finally settled in to her job as CEO of her father's business (he was a real piece of work, right?), but has given up on love

I was curious as to who she would end up with, and when we meet Hawk, I was hooked. Hooked on Hawk.

He was so perfect for her, I couldn't help but fall for him along with Alex.

So much was going on with this installment, and Bybee has done the series justice wih this final installment. Everything was tied up, but it wasn't an easy road to get there.

I wouldn't mind a short somewhere in the future, letting us know what they are all up to.

Looking forward to what Ms Bybee brings us next.

What an amazing journey this series has been and I’m honestly so sad that it has finished. I was immediately captivated by the intrigue surrounding Alex Stone’s death as his children realize they’ve not only inherited their father’s large fortune, but also have a missing brother. As each sibling found their HEA, they slowly uncovered bits and pieces of the truth that culminated brilliantly as this series came to its end. I enjoyed each of the siblings' stories as they found their HEAs, but also kept reading to find out how things would work out with their inherited estate. Aaron Stone was such a mystery and even though he was dead for the entire series, he was such an important character as well. This billionaire, bodyguard, romantic suspense, and family saga was a sweet and intriguing ending to a wonderful series.

In audio, Meg Sylvan single handedly brought this series to life with her brilliant and nuanced performances. I really enjoyed how she kept consistency between her portrayals of each of the characters even down to their pitch and cadence, including key side characters from book to book. By giving each character their own unique voice, her dynamic performance makes you forget she’s solo narrating the book and made this entire series an absolute treat.

I thought it was perfect to end the series with Alex, the woman who took over for her father and made her place in the corporate world with grace and poise. Her safe, boring, and workaholic life came crashing down around her when threats came in targeting her and threatening her safety. She met Hawk while he was working a party she never should have attended, and sparks fly between them immediately. When she needs help, he’s just the man for the job. Their chemistry heats up as they work together and I adored how her family played matchmaker. Alex needed quite the nudge to get out of her own way. She and Hawk were perfect for each other. Their romance was sweet but rocky, and this story was so hard to put down. I can’t wait to see what Catherine has in story for her readers next.

No More Yesterdays is book 3 in the Heirs series by Catherine Bybee and the final book in the series.

Up last is Alex, the billionaire CEO that someone wants permanently gone and Hawk, security expert and her bodyguard. We get a heart pounding, suspenseful, action packed, family drama, secrets and so much more. You don’t want to miss this series!!

I voluntarily read a copy of this book from NetGalley, Montlake. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

3 stars — corporate threats, bodyguards, and... a whole lotta meh

Huge thanks to Montlake & NetGalley for the eARC 💌

🛡️ Bodyguard Romance
🌹 Billionaire Boss Lady CEO
🛡️ Romantic Suspense & Mystery
🌹 Family Secrets & Sibling Loyalty
🛡️ Forced Proximity/Close Protection
🌹 Healing Emotional Baggage

One word? Boring.
And I genuinely don’t know if it’s the book… or if I’m just slipping into a reading slump. Like it had everything I usually love—forced proximity, a badass CEO heroine, bodyguard romance, family drama, danger around every corner—but somehow it felt flat the entire way through.

The pacing dragged, the romance was fine but didn’t hit emotionally, and the suspense felt way too tame for something marketed as “romantic suspense.” It was giving mild mystery, not edge-of-your-seat danger. Even the plot twists didn’t twist. They just… existed.

Hawk was cool, I guess. The bodyguard with trauma and a gruff exterior who secretly wants to protect the girl at all costs? Been there. Liked it better in other books. Alex was strong, capable, the kind of FMC I usually root for—but this time, I felt zero emotional connection. And that’s wild, because I wanted to love her. But she felt more like a checklist than a character.

No real stakes. No real chemistry. No real urgency.
I kept waiting for something—anything—to pull me in. Instead, I was zoning out and checking how many pages were left. Not even the family dynamics (which had potential) were enough to save it. By the halfway point, I just felt... disconnected.

Final verdict? It’s not a bad book. Just a forgettable one.
If you’re really invested in the Stone siblings and already read the first two, maybe this will hit better for you. But as a standalone? It was just mid. And right now, I think I need a break.

Estranged from their father, the Stone siblings are surprised to be named his heirs. Now Alex Stone is sitting in the CEO chair, but the surprises keep on coming - mostly unpleasant, except for Hawk Bronson, security guard, protector, and sexy in the extreme.
Alex shows up to an exclusive CEO event, unsurprised to find herself the only businesswoman. Most of the women in the room are ones who would never be invited to a respectable party, and a lot of the men, some of whom she had respected before, can't meet her eyes. Hawk Bronson and his team are providing security at the event, putting him in the position of rescuing Alex when she needs a helping hand.
Events in the family business continue to spiral with some of the board and senior executives in direct opposition to the Stone siblings. Hawk is there on hand to provide personal bodyguarding services. as they unearth deep-hidden secrets of some of Stone Senior's involvement.
The story is fast paced, filled with anguish, romance, suspense - all the ingredients that make this a great read and a superb finish to the trilogy.  While the story can be read as a standalone, it will be better to read the other two before this one.  Ms. Bybee does contemporary romance really well.

No More Yesterdays provided a satisfying conclusion to the Heirs series. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I really like how main characters from the previous books made appearances and are involved in each book's storyline. While this could technically be read as a stand alone, I recommend starting from book one to get a better understanding.

I was really eager to read Alex's story and for her to get her "Happily Ever After" as well as for certain side characters to finally get their due. While I didn't entirely guess the outcome of the storyline, I did correctly guess the suspicious characters. That being said, it was still a very entertaining read and overall, I found this book and the series as a whole to be very enjoyable.

In my opinion, the best romance novels involve a bit of mystery. This book has both and captured my attention from page 1! I really enjoyed the developing story of Alex and Hawk, with just the right amount of tension and spice! Another fun book to read by Catherine Bybee!!!

Great end to the series. Bybee once again does not disappoint. I would recommend most all of her series if you are lover of romance along with some intrigue and drama.

This is the final book in the series and follows the sister, Alex. Alex has basically been running Stone Enterprises since their father died since she is the one with the most experience. When she is threatened, her brothers decide she needs heightened security and a body guard. Enter Hawk who met Alex while on a different job but is the best at what he does. The problem is that Alex is extremely headstrong and stubborn and doesn't always follow orders when there is a threat. When the family finally convinces her to get away for awhile, her and Hawk really find their connection and their relationship changes. However Hawk has a past that is difficult to overcome and Alex won't settle for half measure. When they return home, things escalate. There is a mystery to unravel and emotions to deal with.

Overall a great read. I really enjoyed it. I would recommend reading the first two books in the series so that you have all the background.

No More Yesterdays by Catherine Bybee is the third contemporary romance in the Heirs trilogy featuring siblings who are left to run their father’s business after he dies. Filled with mystery, suspense and swoon-worthy romances, I’ve fallen in love with Stone family and those they give their hearts too. This is Alex’s romance, as Bybee amps up the suspense when someone is after Alex.

I love stories/series surrounding siblings and until the Heirs; I wasn’t really a fan of billionaire romances. However, the Stone children and their brother grew up grounded. I loved getting their stories. While each book contains its own romance and HEA, I recommend reading them in order for the overall series ARCs and spoilers.

Alex is a powerhouse in her own right in the hotel industry. She was successful at a revival company until she came back to Stone Enterprise to run it with her brothers. She is a bit of a workaholic and adores her siblings. I’ve always liked Alex and was eager to see what happened in her story.

Alex has been receiving threats and when those escalate, Hawk Bronson, body guard, security specialist steps in to help. The chemistry between them was sizzling. But can Hawk keep Alex safe? Who is behind the threats? Bybee provided plenty of suspects, including their step-mother.

Hawk was swoon-worthy. He’s alpha, but also respects Alex and knows her worth. We get time with all the siblings as the author revved up the suspense, and the romance deepened. You can also expect character growth, humor, danger, friendships and tender heart-felt moments. While this may take place in the corporate offices of a billionaire hotel company, you’ll also get a down to earth small-town vibe.

This series is perfect for readers that love stories surrounding siblings and want their romances delivered with suspense, mystery, and depth.

This has been a fun and exciting series to read! Definitely one I recommend to friends and family.

4.5/5 stars

No More Yesterdays is the third and final book in The Heirs series. It is a mystery romance. This is Alex's story.

I loved the first two books in this series. So I could not wait to read this one. Even though this book has different narrators I would highly recommend reading in order as it's a continuing story.

In the first book siblings Chase and Alex's billionaire father died and left them everything. They were shocked to find out that they had a brother, Max. Now the three siblings run the hotel empire together.

This is a slow burn billionaire/bodyguard romance. Someone is threatening Alex. And while the police try to figure out who is involved she needs protection. Hawk works for a private security company. And he guards Alex. I really enjoyed this set-up. The romance in this book is fantastic. But the mystery is just as amazing. The author has written an interesting story full of great reveals.

All of the main characters from the previous books are in this book a lot. I absolutely love that each sibling got their own book. But I also love that their stories continue in all three books. There is so much more of Chase/Piper and Max/Sarah in this book. And I could not have been happier.

No More Yesterdays is such a good romantic suspense book. I wish that we could get more of these siblings.

Alex Stone never intended to take over her father’s company, but now, as the newly appointed CEO of Stone Enterprises, she’s come to terms with a life of solitude. Being a high-powered, billionaire woman tends to narrow one’s romantic prospects, and it has also led to her receiving death threats. Alex turns to bodyguard Hawk Bronson to help keep her safe, but Hawk fears that his own troubled past might pose an even greater threat to her safety. Whilst they attempt to discover who has Alex in their sights, they find themselves falling in love. As they work together to uncover who is targeting Alex, an undeniable chemistry sparks between them.
Catherine Bybee delivers another compelling read! I loved how Alex and Hawk’s love story was woven seamlessly with the mystery and tension. Long-held secrets from her father’s past—threads from the first two books—finally come to light, bringing the series to a satisfying and thrilling conclusion.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

From the time I started this series, I’ve been waiting for Alex’s story and I was not disappointed! Alex is an amazing heroine. She is working hard to keep her father’s company running smoothly but finds the business and herself the target of violent threats.

“…I’ll hold you when you’re sad, stand beside you when you’re strong, and carry you when you’re weak. But most important . . . I will love you…”

No More Yesterdays is romantic suspense at its finest! A Super Swoony bodyguard romance, an edge of your seat suspense, mystery that keeps you guessing right till the end, and a family saga story that had me hooked right from the first book in this trilogy!

5 Star Review No More Yesterdays (The Heirs #3) by Catherine Bybee

Having read and loved the first two books in the latest series from Catherine Bybee, I could not wait to read No More Yesterdays which is
Alex Stone and bodyguard Hawk Bronson’s story.

I fell hard and fast for these characters and had a hard time putting it down when real life got in
the way.

This book was everything I was hoping for and more. I quickly became invested in the story. It was well written, and you cannot help but be drawn into the story that Ms. Bybee wove.

As danger rears its head Alex will have to do whatever is needed to keep Alex safe.

No More Yesterdays was a good balance of romance, drama and suspense. I received a copy from the publisher through Netgalley.

I had the privilege of reading No More Yesterdays! It took me a little while to get into it. Once I did I wanted to see what the mystery was. I love that Catherine Bybee has so many layers to her story and ties from the previous stories. Wasn't expecting it to go where it did. I called the person who was after Alex. Overall, loved Alex's story. I am sad it's over.
