I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
The suspense and characters in this book are on point. I did like the protective Viking Alex falls for and Hawk falls quickly for Alex as well but will their attraction be safe from the harm and the sins of her father?
Lots of twists and turns and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
3.5 stars

This book delivers the kind of tension you feel in your chest; equal parts sizzling romance and heart-pounding suspense. It’s explosive in every way, and impossible to put down.

If you’re a fan of Twisted Games, love your romance with a side of suspense, and can’t resist a brooding billionaire, then this book is definitely one to add to your TBR. It’s the third in a series, but I did not read the first two but let me tell you, it reads perfectly as a standalone.
What really stood out to me was the strong sense of family woven into the story. So often in romance suspense, the focus stays on the main couple, but here, the familial support added depth and heart to the plot. It gave the characters more dimension and made their choices more meaningful.
Alex, the female lead, absolutely stole the show for me. She’s everything I love in a heroine — strong, independent, and resilient. She doesn’t back down from a challenge and holds her ground no matter what’s thrown her way. Her chemistry with Hawk is electric, and I genuinely enjoyed watching their romance unfold as they navigated secrets, danger, and emotional walls.
While the story was filled with twists and turns, it did lose a star because I figured out the big mystery halfway through. From that point on, I was just waiting for the characters to catch up, which took away a bit of the suspense for me. That said, the emotional and romantic journey of Alex and Hawk — especially their path to vulnerability and openness — kept me fully invested.
All in all, this book delivered on the heat, the heart, and the high stakes. Definitely worth the read, especially if you love your romance with a punch of danger and a fierce female lead.

This series is so good, and this is book 3. It keeps me engaged, the plot is full of twist and turns, and seeing Alex, Chase, and Max after the father that had, captivates me. I didn't stop reading until I finished the story. This is definitely a page turner.
I received an ARC from Montlake through NetGalley. I highly recommend this book and books 1 and 2. I was surprised a few times, laughed some, shed a few tears, most of the people in the story the love for each other lifted my spirits. If you read the book, you will know about some other people. Oh, so good.

Thank you to NetGalley, Catherine Bybee, and Montlake for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!
One of my fave romance tropes is bodyguard and client secret relationship, and this book was so good! I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this was my favorite.
Alex was super likable, a strong and intelligent woman who is also kind and caring. Her dedication to her family and her job, despite so many fearing or doubting her, is admirable. So it’s easy to see why Hawk was so quickly attracted to her.
I liked the twists and revelations that are discovered in this book, so it made this a good possible ending for this series as they seem to all be able to find solutions and closure to all their father left them after his passing. I really liked how close Alex and her family were, and how they supported each other so strongly!
And of course, the steamy passion and strong connection Hawk and Alex couldn’t deny was so good to read as it progressed at a good pace. Hawk’s viking comment about how protective he is for her made me swoon!

I feel like I have been waiting forever to get Alex’s story and I was not disappointed! This was a great conclusion to The Heirs Series. Lots of twists and turns and Hawk is perfect for Alex.
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for this book. And thank you Catherine Bybee for writing this wonderful book! ~I was given this book and made no commitments to leave my opinions, favorable or otherwise~

At the heart of this installment is the magnetic love story between Hawk Bronson, a seasoned bodyguard with Private Security Specialists, and Alexandrea “Alex” Stone, a sharp, capable CEO stepping into her late father’s shoes at the helm of a billion-dollar empire. Their chemistry is instant, their banter endlessly entertaining, and their emotional connection feels both natural and earned. From playful snowball fights in Colorado to heart-to-heart conversations under pressure, their relationship builds with authenticity and heat.
The plot is both engaging and layered, blending corporate intrigue, family legacy, and a steady build of romantic tension. After a suspicious reception invite ends in a threatening encounter, Alex becomes the target of a series of escalating threats. Hawk’s role as her protector turns personal, and as danger looms, their bond deepens. What follows is a thrilling blend of romance and mystery, complete with FBI investigations, corporate secrets, and a chilling plot twist that puts Alex’s life on the line.
The sibling dynamics between Alex, Chase, and Max are heartwarming, often funny, and refreshingly real. Their journey from grief and confusion to unity and purpose is a highlight of the series. Longtime readers will also appreciate the satisfying arcs for beloved characters, including Piper and Chase’s wedding and Max and Sarah’s engagement. No More Yesterdays is everything about strong heroines, swoon-worthy heroes, high stakes, and an unforgettable love story.

This is the final book in the Heirs trilogy and it doesn't disappoint. I love the relationship between Alex and her brothers which were told in the first two books. Alex always came off as extremely competent at her job and loyal to her family. Finally, we get to learn more about Alex as she navigates some dangerous experiences and enters into a romance with her new security person, Hawk. It was fun to catch up with the siblings as they unraveled the mysteries behind the trail of corruption that Aaron Stone left behind. Loved the epilogue!

Catherine Bybee has done it again! I absolutely LOVED No More Yesterdays by Catherine Bybee, the final book in her The Heirs series. I love that Catherine Bybee continues to write the books that I love to read and continues to be one of my favorite authors to read. I can honestly say that No More Yesterdays is one of the most enjoyable books that I have read recently. I was hooked from the first few pages, I loved every page, and it was impossible to put it down! Catherine Bybee continues to prove that she is an incredible storyteller. No More Yesterdays is the story of love at first sight love story between Hawk Bronson, bodyguard employed by Private Security Specialists and Alexandrea “Alex” Stone, CEO and co-owner of Stone Enterprises, a billion-dollar hotel empire. Alex’s biological father, Aaron died suddenly leaving control of his multi-billion-dollar Stone Enterprises to her brother, Chase, her half-brother Maximillian “Max” and herself. Max was only recently located and now they will split Aaron’s shares equally. Chase left his position at his own shipping company and Alex left her position at Regent Hotel Group to take over Stone Enterprises. One of the Stone Enterprises VPs, Floyd Gatlin, convinced Alex to accept an invitation for a reception for Ashraf Bakshai that was sent to her father. Once she arrives at the restaurant where the reception was being held, she realized that she was set up by Floyd. She leaves the reception and then is accosted by one of Ashraf’s men. Hawk was hired as a bodyguard for Ashraf and his son Nasser. Hawk protects Alex and makes sure she gets into her car safely. A bomb threat is called in during the next Stone Enterprises board meeting. It is discovered that Alex was the target of the bomb threat. Hawk is then hired to be Alex’s bodyguard anytime she is anywhere other than Aaron Stone’s estate. Hawk and his teammates investigate who is behind these threats against Alex. They also learn secrets behind some of the questionable business practices that Aaron performed. Which lead to an FBI investigation. I love the chemistry between Hawk and Alex, and the conversations between them flow so easily, with innuendos and playful banter. I love the heart-to-heart talks that Alex and Hawk have throughout the story. Another threat is made against Alex, so she and Hawk escape to one of her late father’s property in Colorado. I love their snowball fight. As Alex and Hawk continue to spend times together with Hawk protecting Alex, things heat up between them and their relationship changes. An unexpected plot twist puts Alex’s life in danger. I love how it was revealed who was behind the threats on Alex's life. Also love how so many secrets were revealed about Aaron, his business practices, and Melissa, his wife. I love the wine auction that Alex, Hawk, and Melissa attend. My favorite part of the story is Piper and Chase’s wedding and Sarah and Max’s engagement. I also love how the Stone's all enjoy Aaron's wine collection. No More Yesterdays is an amazing love story; I am so glad that Hawk and Alex got the happily ever after and confess their feelings for one another. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story. I love all the changes that Hawk and Alex willingly make to have a life together. I love the changes that Chase, Max, and Alex make in their lives as a result of the investigation. I love how the epilogue is the perfect ending of Alex and Hawk’s love story and The Heirs series. I love all the characters in this series, I enjoy all the interactions among the Stone siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. No More Yesterdays is a wonderful love story, filling me with a rollercoaster of emotions. I loved every moment on every page. I love the incredible love story, the California and Colorado settings, and the amazing characters! Catherine Bybee definitely does not disappoint her readers with all the feels in No More Yesterdays and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love and expect in her books, especially the amazing characters, they feel like family, and the poignant and bittersweet moments, plot twists and surprises that filled this page turner. Catherine Bybee continues to deliver all that and so much more. I am not sure how she does it, but Catherine Bybee has once again given her readers another remarkable book. No More Yesterdays is filled with outstanding characters, wonderful descriptions of the setting, and incredible plot twists. I love that Catherine Bybee always writes about strong women. No More Yesterdays was bittersweet for me since it is the last book in The Heirs series. Highly recommend love at first sight love story. I received an advanced copy from the author.

I couldn’t wait for this one. I was so happy to see Alex get her story.
The chemistry between Alex and Hawk was great. They were wonderful together.
The entire series was fabulous!
I love Catherine Bybee and can’t wait for more stories from her.

Hawk & Alex ❤️
💵When Alex’s father, the wealthy CEO of a hotel chain died, she and her brother took over managing the business. It’s been hard, with many long days and employees who aren’t falling over themselves to help.
💵When she’s invited to a private party, something is off. No wives, only mistresses invited. And then when a security guard tries to assault her when she leaves, Hawk steps in to help her.
💵He’s a tough, ex-FBI guy, now working in security, whose past causes PTSD. He’s drawn to Alex, and soon the situation in her premises draws Hawk into her orbit.
✏️This is the third story in a trilogy, with the first two stories focussing on Alex’s two brothers. A love story, filled with intrigue and deception, I love how Hawk pulled through the negative energy surrounding the siblings, won over her brothers and gave Alex as much as she did back. He’s the alpha guy with a heart of gold, she’s the reluctant heiress who’s held to impossible standards by others. Recommend reading this super series in order.

Oh the problems afflicting Alex Stone. She’s suddenly become a billionaire. Now her life is busy running her father’s business. And someone is trying to kill her. And guys don’t seem to honestly fall for rich businesswomen. SWhat’s a gal to do? Hire a hunky security guard and see if he can help protect her and fall for her at the same time.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

No More Yesterdays is the third book in The Heirs series and it drew me in right from the start!
Alex Stone assumed the CEO role at Stone Enterprises following the death of her father. She has been working with her brothers Chase and Max to ensure the company is moving forward. Given the demands of her new role, she focuses on work but doesn't have much time for a personal life outside the walls of the office. While being a female CEO is anything but easy, she did not expect to be the target of threats from just trying to do her job.
It just so happens that when Alex is at a work event she was invited to and finds herself in a less than optimal position. Lucky for her, Hawk Bronson, who was hired as extra security by the family throwing the party, happens to be there to help her out of the situation. When it becomes clear she needs more security than she has had, Hawk is the first to jump at doing the job himself.
While both Alex and Hawk have demons of their own, will they be able to put them aside to explore the attraction between them? Or will the threats end anything between them before it even begins?
I was in this story from the outset. There was great pacing, intrigue and the interactions between Alex, her brothers and their significant others added so much to the story. I am always excited to read a Cathrine Bybee book and this one was as great as all of her others!

This book is a wonderful conclusion to the Stone Family saga with Alex getting her story. Due to the issues her father created for her and her brothers, threats were made and she required the services of Hawk as a bodyguard. They fought their attraction but, of course, true love stepped in and steered them in the right direction. These two people were strong, intelligent characters who worked through a lot to solve their problems. They were well-written and the dialogue was snappy. It was also good to see her brothers and their significant others return to lend their support. Another strong submission from Ms. Bybee! Highly recommended.

Thank you net galley and publisher for this ARC. This book is the 3rd in the series with lots of family drama and romance.

This book pulled me in with its sharp mix of tension, heart, and sizzling romance. The chemistry between Alex and Hawk is absolutely electric. Their connection unfolds with a delicious slow burn that made me want to lean closer with every chapter. It’s a romance grounded in trust, respect, and a raw passion that never feels forced. Beyond the romance, the story’s layers of family secrets and threats kept me on edge. Bybee’s writing flows effortlessly, balancing suspense with tender moments that hit right in the feels. Overall , It’s the kind of book that leaves you breathless and smiling long after you’re done reading it.

Just amazing read!! The premise of the story is so well thought out and complex - there are no words to describe it. I loved every bit of this story. The twists and turns. The silliness. The laughter and above all the relationships forged. I so loved this book. Definitely one of my favorites by Catherine!

Alexandria Stone's life has been on a roller-coaster since the death of her father. Not only did she and her brother gain billions, a sprawling corporation to run and a new sibling, now it looks like they have also inherited their father's problems. Alex is finding it hard to juggle everything on her plate so when threats are made to everything she holds dear, she reluctantly agrees to some enhanced security. Thankfully Hawk is the perfect man for the job. Since he's already saved her once, it makes sense for him to become her personal bodyguard. The question is can he protect her from himself and his own past or can they find love together? Full of intrigue and romance, No More Yesterdays is an exhilerating and satisfying read.

Love this series. I believe this is the last, but fingers crossed there is more. Great characters, wonderful story, family, some suspense, and at its core love. This book is about Alex. She is dealing with running the company she never wanted from a father who was only called that by definition, trying to deal with the misogyny of being a powerful business woman, that it is highly unlikely she will find a her own happily ever after with a man and family and that the life she lived before is gone forever. What she wasn’t expecting were death threats and a target on her back. In walks Hawk, who saved her once and is now her full time bodyguard. I loved their story, the resolutions and the entire family. I am repeating myself, but I surely hope this isn’t the end of the series. I read this overnight as I couldn’t put it down!

Having enjoyed reading the first two books in the Heirs series, I looked forward to reading the third. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this early opportunity to do so.
A page turning romance with entwining intrigue. Who is out to kill Alex Stone and what was her estranged deceased father involved in? You will find out in the conclusion of this series. Of course there is a happy ending.
