One Liner: This was good!
Never did Alex Stone think she would take over her father’s company. But now, as the CEO chair at Stone Enterprises, Alex puts all her energies into rebuilding the empire while dodging the attempts on her life and business, with support from her half-sibling.
Hawk Bronson is Alex’s bodyguard and determined to protect her. With his own past, he cannot afford to get close to her and increase the risk. However, this is easier said than done with their undeniable chemistry.
Alex and Hawk have to face their past, their family secrets, and threats to have a future together.
The story comes in Alex and Hawk’s third-person POVs.
My Thoughts:
After enjoying the previous book in the series, I was excited to read this one, where the story concludes and the loose ends are tied up.
However, the focus is on Alex (Alexandra), the only single Stone sibling since her brothers now have partners. The FMC is strong, independent, and determined, but as the MMC says, she has zero situational awareness.
Like the previous book, this one has a steady pace. Though it is 400 pages long, it never feels stretched out or slow. In fact, I finished it in two days flat.
The MMC is easy to like despite his grumpy exterior. He isn’t afraid to be harsh to make the FMC see the extent of danger she is in. However, he is also very protective and caring.
There are quite a few twists and developments as the story progresses. We can pretty much guess who the actual culprit is, but that’s okay since this is marketed as romance and not a mystery or suspense.
The romance track is nice and has a bit of steam. The supporting characters are a highlight and continue to enhance the storyline. The bonding between the siblings and their partners is lovely to read. No unwanted drama here.
While this still works as a standalone, I think I enjoyed it more since I read at least book #2. The central plot starts in the first book, so if you are particular about details, add all three to your TBR. It won’t take long to finish them anyway!
There’s an epilogue that nicely rounds up everything and gives a solid ending (HEA) to the entire series.
To summarize, No More Yesterdays is a fast-paced romance with a good dose of suspense and a touch of danger. It is a worthy entertainer with a bit of everything to keep you hooked. I’ll be sure to read more books by the author.
Thank you, NetGalley and Montlake, for the eARC. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book.

This is the first book I’ve read by Catherine Bybee but it won’t be the last. I loved this book and now I want to go back and read the first two in this series. Alex is trying to run the company her late father left her but she has had threats against her life. But Hawk a security professional wants to make sure nothing happens to her. I loved the whole family and their closeness.

A wonderful end to a very enjoyable series.
This book is about Alex, who is trying her best to get to grips with running her father's hotel empire, along with her siblings, after his death. There are obviously adjustments to be made for everyone, and not all the board members are as happy with the new owners which causes tension.
There's plenty of suspense in this one, with the addition of security in the form of Hawk, after Alex receives threats on her life. They both clash, with Alex frustrated that she needs security and Hawk trying to keep her safe when she doesn't quite do as requested!
The whole of this series was extremely enjoyable, and I'm very sad to see it finish.

Really enjoyed this one. It was the first book I've read from this series and now I will for sure read the first two. Alex was this badass CEO, juggling family business and danger like a pro, even if didn’t take care of herself at all. And then Hawk showed up as the bodyguard and he was exactly the kind of calm presence she needed. Their connection was believable from the start. The family dynamics in this series was a highlight. Even after not reading the first two books, this still worked. I liked the mix of suspense and romance. The pacing was tight, and I never got bored. Thank you so much to the author and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book early. I’m sharing my thoughts voluntarily and with genuine appreciation

The third and sadly the last of this The Heirs series. I loved each and every one of the stories in this series, each had their own charm. In this one, we not only get a great love story with steamy scenes and a hunky hero, we get high stakes suspense and white collar hijinks. It made for a very entertaining unputdownable read!
Alex, as we’ve seen in the previous two books, is a workaholic, determined to direct her father’s empire and make it an enduring profitable company for the sake of all the employers that depended on them. When she’s targeted and needs a bodyguard, no one was more reluctant to toe the line. But then, enter Hawk Bronson, very experienced in dealing with dangerous situations, an expert in security, and with a Viking attitude to protect his woman with his life, yum!
The story has very convoluted financial shenanigans, international intrigue, board members strife, everything you need for a very riveting read, of the white collar type. I loved reading Hawk, thought him perfect for Alex. He’s not rich but not poor either, he wasn’t fazed with the luxury Alex lived in, and he was invaluable in defending her safety, thus endearing him to her brothers.
Fast paced, challenging, hella entertaining, this was one magnificent read!

As always, I absolutely adore the Stone children and their ethics. I love how we get multiple pov's and insight on how they feel. Alex has always had to be tough and seemed unapproachable but underneath she was a good person. The suspense and uncovering of what Aaron stone had been up to will keep you invested. Seeing the push and pull with Hawk and Alex kept me on my toes! Her finding the one was well worth the wait. Hawk was semi patient with her and only wanted what was in her best interest. I loved them for each other especially with his history. This family is all so genuine. At the end my heart melted at how Alex looks at Gaylord as a father. But the juicy is part is after so long in the book, I began to suspect the unassuming person. When it is revealed who is behind all the threats, it wasn't a surprise per say but enough of a shock to know what all they had been doing for so long. And the why behind it was crazy and was not even remotely Alex's fault. This person was unhinged. This book was a great conclusion to this series.

Another lovely read from Catherine Bybee, the only thing wrong with this book is that it is the final book in this series. It was lovely spending time with the 3 main characters in this series as they get used to being rich and finding 'that special someone'. I liked the way these final 2 met, not a very normal way of meeting. I also liked that the 'baddies' got their comeuppance!
I haven't found a bad book by Catherine Bybee, each one is a really nice read that keeps you invested in the plot and the characters, can't wait for the next one.

First of all, thank You Netgalley and publisher for the ARC granted to me. Anther good book from the authr. I have read the previous ones and altough this was not the best from all of them, I could enjoy a lot the reading.

No More Yesterdays brings a wonderful conclusion to the Stone trio.
Alex Stone is badass in every sense of the word. She's strong, independent and fierce after taking over her father's company after his passing. Being left with a storm and many responsibilities she didn't expect to be left with she finds herself putting herself last. When it comes to her safety she's blind despite her family's desperate pleas. After a threat at the company, she is forced by her family to take on a bodyguard.
This story is great. As with all Bybee's characters, they are all wonderfully thought out and relatable, other than the billionaire aspect. The storyline is beautiful and quick to get into and read. The book was an immediate attention getter. I was hooked.

Thank you so much net galley for this arc. i really enjoyed this series, Max and Sarah in book two were so good, and in the story we follow Alex and Hawk. the spice was so hot, i love the small mystery in the story as well just all around good series.

~~~ I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ~~~
This is yet another great addition to the The Heirs series. This book follows the story of Alex and Hawk. Alex Stone is one of three heirs to Stone Enterprises after their father dies unexpectedly. She is a strong leader and the target of a sabotage plan.... enters her hired security guard- Hawk. This is a story of trust, family and love. I love all of Catherine Bybee's books that I've read so far- which is a lot. this book is a great grab for a vacation or day at the beach. It can be read as a stand alone if you haven't read the other books in the series yet, however, I do recommend them all from the beginning!
I received this book as a ARC. I really enjoyed the book. It carried over seamlessly from book 1 and 2 in the series. I would say this is a series where a reader really needs to read them in order. The dialogue between the characters and the twists in this book captivated me. It was over way too soon for my liking!
I really loved this book, I had read the other 2 in the series. Alex was a fun character to read a very strong & independent woman who still wanted the love of a man. Hawk was perfect for Alex. This book was full of drama and action. I loved the ending with the twist. I also enjoyed the various locations, I felt as though I was on location with Alex and Hawk. A must read also read the 2 in the series.
Alex Stone is working hard to keep all the balls in the air running her late father's company with her brother Chase. She is trying to discover all her fathers associates, so attends a lot of social functions meeting an unsavoury character at one. Her brother worries for her safety so decides to hire Hawk Bronson and his company to take care of Alex and the company security. He's also hoping that Hawk may help Alex relax away from her relentless schedule. Hawk has his work cut out for him trying to keep Alex safe whilst she starts receiving death threats. Hawk finds his protection is more personal rather than duty and it looks as if Alex is also drawn to her bodyguard. Another interesting book in the Stone family series, very enjoyable.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5/5)
No More Yesterdays is the first book I’ve read in The Heirs series, and it instantly made me want to go back and read the previous ones. Even without prior context, this book stands strong on its own—with characters so likable and well-drawn that I’m now eager to learn their backstories.
This is a romantic suspense with a bodyguard trope, which happens to be one of my favorites. The chemistry is believable and steady, though I found myself craving just a bit more intensity—especially in the protective, high-stakes moments. I think fans of action-driven romance might want a touch more edge or danger in those scenes, but the emotional connection and pacing are satisfying overall.
The romance is on the lighter side in terms of spice—I'd rate it about a 2 out of 5. It's intimate without being graphic, making it a great pick for readers who enjoy romance that’s emotionally grounded with just the right amount of heat.
What truly stood out was the strong sense of family and loyalty threaded throughout. The dynamics between the Stone siblings are compelling, adding depth and warmth to the suspense plot. Catherine Bybee’s writing is fluid and accessible, balancing character development with intrigue in a way that keeps the pages turning.
This is a great entry point into the series, even if you haven’t read the previous books. A well-rounded romantic suspense with a bit of everything—mystery, family, and a romance that makes you root for the couple.
Recommended for readers who enjoy a fast-paced bodyguard/client romance with emotional depth and just the right touch of light suspense.
A nice book in the trilogy, with a lot of reminders of the previous stories to help the reader to keep tracks, so it can be read as a stand alone. It is easy reading, with romance mixed with action. This time, with suspense and a slice of horror. Nothing to give nightmare even at bedtime reading, but enough to keep the reader wondering. All opinions are mine, thank you to NetGalley and the publishers.
Alex Stone is a strong businesswoman, determined to hold her father’s company together. Yet when her life is in danger, enter Hawk who is assigned to protect her. However, as the danger mounts, so does their attraction to each other. A great romance with plenty of suspense.
It’s always sad to end a series from Catherine Bye, yet No More Yesterdays beautifully tied up this family who have come together despite everything against them.
Alexandrea Stone, Alex as she was mostly known, had no idea what would happen in her life when she took over the running of her late father's hotel chain. She could not foresee how her life was about to change. Or that it would put her life in danger. So after meeting Hawk Bronson when he saves her from someone from her father's past, and then when a death threat comes her way, Hawk and the company he works for protects her and the family.
From the start, there is a chemistry between Hawk and Alex and it is hard for them both to let it be purely business between then especially when they are stranded in one of her billionaire father's homes in the middle of a snow storm that Colorado is known for. They can't fight those sparks between them anymore and they take the relationship from business to pleasure, but reality rears its head when they return back home. Can it be just strictly business when everyone around them knows its more and can they see a future together while he is still protecting her from an unknown threat...
This was a fantastic way to end this series. We have seen Alex through the series build to a life at the top, how she manages the business, the board of directors, her ex stepmother and all the day to day struggles she is going through. How she loves her family and would do anything for them. Even if it puts her life in danger. And Hawk, her Viking protector. Who would do everything in his power to keep her safe. The past for both them will be a challenge, but the night passion that turns to love will see them through all of these obstacles and who is it that wants to harm Alex... Lots of intrigue, mystery, family and passion will keep you turning the pages of this great book.
Catherine Bybee never disappoints her readers and this book is a tribute to a great cumulation of this fantastic series.
This is a great finale to the Stone sibling stories. The spice is very tame, but the plot is really well done. I think this book may have the best plot twist out of the series. None of these books had misunderstandings or miscommunications between the couples, which are my biggest pet peeves. The Heirs was my first series by this author but I enjoyed it enough that I am ready to dive into the Morrison sibling's stories.
This is the final book in The Heirs series and I was hooked right at the beginning. I so enjoy reading Catherine’s books and this is one of my favorites. This book features Alex, the 3rd heir to her father’s empire and Hawk is there to protect her as there is someone sending her death threats. The book had me guessing who may be the suspect and I was surprised by the surprise twist. Looking forward to what Catherine has next for us. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.
