Catherine Bybee is an auto buy author for me. Her latest, No More Yesterdays is available this summer. It was a five star read for me!

I loved the third and final Heir book. Alex’s story and brining Hawk into her life was a great finish. She and her 2 brothers and how they became a family in spite of their shared father was great to read. I loved the intrigue and the clues to follow to see who and how awful Aaron Stone really was. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Another great 4.5 star read in this series - although as most have mentioned it can be read as a standalone. I do love the characters in this series and finally getting Alexandrea's story was worth the wait. The setting, characters, timing and plot were on point - I couldn't put the book down and finished it in one sitting. I loved the romance, the love in the other couple's lives, and the mysteries. I did figure out very early on one of the characters that isn't what he/she appears to be but it didn't detract from the book at all. I hope we get to read more about these characters in future books - I'll be waiting not-so-patiently! I appreciate receiving an ARC for my honest review - many thanks to the Author, publisher, and NetGalley for this opportunity.

This book is the third book in the series „The Heirs“ by Catherine Bybee that tells the story of the three children of Aaron Stone and how they all find their HEAs after his death. It can absolutely be read as a stand-alone but you will probably be ending up wanting to read the other books as well - I know I did :D
I really enjoyed reading this book, it has romance, family drama and suspense all in one great story. The main characters are Alex, CEO of Stone Enterprises and Hawk, a former undercover agent turned security specialist who has demons from his past. Alex has so much responsibility and feels like without her the whole company would probably collapse and then there are threats against her - she really could use a break. To protect her, Hawk is hired as her bodyguard. Both have met once before when Hawk had helped Alex escape an uncomfortable situation and there was instant attraction between them. Since any romantic relationship between bodyguard and protectee is completely unprofessional both fight their attraction at first but can they resist for long?
I found both main characters likable and relatable and I rooted for them from the start. The story had me hooked and kept me reading on. I finished the book in a day and immediately wanted to read the first two books in the series.

While I am a huge fan of traditional romance, my preferred genre is romantic suspense. That is why I was so excited to get a chance to read this book. I have to admit that I was very nervous reading a book three of an existing series. Lucky for me, I was able to read this as a standalone.

This book definitely hooked me from the very beginning. Sometimes I do have a hard time reading books from an author I haven’t read before, because it takes me a while to get used to their writing style. I did not have this problem with this book at all.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book. It had a really satisfying ending. I can’t wait to read additional books by Catherine!

**I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

Thank you NetGalley, Montlake, and Catherine Bybee for the early access copy of No More Yesterdays.

No More Yesterdays follows the story of Alex Stone, who took over her late father's company after his passing. With the demands of her unplanned new role, Alex has come to terms with living life alone, focusing on her new career, and reshaping the hotel empire. What she didn't account for was having a target on her back which led to death threats. In comes Hawk Bronson, the bodyguard that unexpectedly protected Alex when she needed it. Hawk knows he should keep his distance, but when tension builds and sparks fly, is it worth the risk?

This was an action-packed romance, with the mystery of who is threatening Alex, what family secrets will be uncovered, and will Hawk and Alex be able to face their fears for a chance at something real?

ARC provided via NetGalley – thank you to the publisher for the opportunity!

No More Yesterdays had a lot of emotional depth and potential. The premise was strong, and the themes of healing and self-growth really stood out. The FMC’s journey was heartfelt—she’s navigating a lot, and her personal growth was one of the highlights of the story.

The MMC was a solid, supportive character, and there were definitely moments of connection between them. However, the pacing felt a bit slow at times, and I struggled to fully stay engaged with their dynamic. The emotional weight sometimes overshadowed the romance, making it harder for the chemistry to shine through.

That said, readers who enjoy introspective, character-driven stories with heavier emotional themes may really connect with this one. It just didn’t fully land for me, but I can see its appeal to the right audience.

Got the ARC and I couldn’t be happier. Loved every bit of this story. It’s a slow burn at first, but full of family drama, mystery, and a touch of romance. I absolutely loved the main character and the sibling relationships were so well written. It’s the third in a saga, but I read it as a standalone and it didn’t disappoint at all. The plot twist at the end? I did not see it coming and was completely amazed.

I checked NetGalley every day for this book!! I love Catherine Bybee and I LOVE this series! I was so excited to get this and I loved it! The characters are so good-so real for people who just inherited millions- I love the way they are real about the relationship they had with their dad. I love the relationship between siblings- so high knit and stand up for each other! I would love to see another in this series!!

I have never not loved a book by Catherine Bybee and this was one no exception! In fact, it’s one of my favorites which is saying a lot! What I really like about the books in the series by Bybee is that you don’t have to read them in consecutive order in order to understand what he characters are and what the plot it. Now, it does make it more fun for me to know about some of the characters in more detail by reading them in order but, in this case, I actually didn’t realize I had missed the second book until I was almost finished reading this one—and it didn’t matter because this book was that good! We get to learn more about the three siblings that took over their father’s business and all the secrets that go along with that business. We also get the chance to know about the partners of those three siblings and go along for the ride with Alex and Hawk. What I enjoyed so much about this book was that definitely about a developing relationship between at least two of the main characters but it also had a really fun mystery alongside that storyline. I highly recommend this book, whether it will be your first to read by Bybee or your 20+th! Now I get to go read the 2nd from this series that I somehow missed—and I’m more excited about that than I should be!

I have enjoyed all books I have read by this author and this one doesn’t disappoint. Interesting character along with a good plot make for an interesting story. The book is #3 in a series but could easily be read as a stand alone, although I do recommend previous books in the series. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Wow, what a great conclusion to The Heirs series. Even though each could be considered a standalone, I suggest that all 3 be read in order to get the full picture of what Alex, Chase and Max are all about. I would LOVE to read more of their lives together. Catherine Bybee is a go to for me. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.

Catherine Bybee does it again! What a great book that I couldn’t put down! The story of a family that finds sometimes all you need is the love and strength that the ones in your life can bring. Even when it seems the world is against you, you can overcome if you stick together

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest.

This was the final book in The Heirs trilogy and definitely worth the read. Alex and Hawk's story is full of romance and suspenseful twists and turns. The back and forth dialogue between Alex and Hawk, both of whom were extremely strong willed, was fun to read. Each book in the series revolved around one of the siblings and their story. With a continuation of the story line throughout the series, I definitely recommend reading them in order so that you may get the maximum enjoyment out of them. I would recommend setting aside uninterrupted time to read this book as you won't want to put it down.

4 ½ Stars for Alex and her Viking!

This is the third book in the series and although they are all standalones, I would advise reading them all so you get the whole picture. I loved Alex and Hawk ... the spice between them was hot af. I always love it when a romance has a little bit of mystery and this one had me guessing till the end. Even though Alex and her brothers inherited billions ... they didn't start out that way and kept their down to earth ways. This book started out strong and then got a little slow, but by the end I was on the edge of my seat. I'm sorry this series is over, but I look forward to Ms. Bybee's next book!

Alex and her brothers inherited their estranged father's billion dollar company Stone Enterprises. Even though her brothers have recently found their forever loves, Alex is married to her job and doesn't have time for a relationship. Besides there's no man who would want to go out with someone that is more powerful and richer than they are. When Stone Enterprises is threatened, they hire a company to beef up their security. Hawk has been in the security / protection business all his life, but it feels different when it comes to Alex. He will do anything to keep her safe even if he has to keep her safe from himself.

I received an ARC courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley.
