The book was so unpredictable and twisted. It kept me on the edge. Lana is looking for her sister’s killer but when the killer strikes again and someone else is found dead. Lana was invited to an event hosted in Norway. Lane went there for revenge yet things take a dark turn and it brings her own life at stake. Each character had a secret and the plot was so gripping. I liked the revelations and twists at the end.
Thanks to the Publisher

The Serial Killer’s Party is a darkly clever whodunnit with a fantastic setting that really pulled me in — equal parts eerie and eccentric. It is an easy read despite some of the heavier themes. While the pacing felt a bit slow in parts, it never lost my interest thanks to the undertone of tension and mystery weaving through each chapter.
Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story threw in twists I genuinely didn’t see coming. The slow build definitely pays off, with a finale that’s both satisfying and just a little bit chilling.
If you enjoy unpredictable plots and creepy, vivid settings, this is worth checking out.

I Loved the sound of this book, and the setting in Norway sounded interesting. I did find it a bit slow though, and wanted more action. However I am an impatient reader, and more patient readers may not find this a problem. Overall not a bad read.

I enjoyed this book, it was an easy read and didn't take long to get through .
It was different and I particularly liked the setting.
I thought it was well written and gripping.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I really wanted for this to be better than the title, which I think does the book a disservice along with the generic airport thriller cover, and I'm happy to write that overall it was - mostly.
I had been expecting some twists but when they finally came I was slightly underwhelmed, you can probably even guess half of the first one without reading a single page. The next is slightly less obvious but there is enough foreshadowing for it to not be as preposterous, and the climax was extremely satisfying.
There were some typos in my ARC which I hope will be fixed before publication.
I think fans of murder mysteries and stories about rich people being the worst will enjoy this. I really enjoyed the complicated sibling dynamics, extravagant setting, and an intelligent yet realistically flawed protagonist.
Yes it leans on tropes a bit much at times, but that's what I always expect from the thriller genre. It subverted my expectations almost as much. I'm glad I read this, and every day I looked forward to when I would have free time to read a few chapters.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!

After her sister goes missing after attending a party thrown by the Fowley family, Amelia infiltrates the family to ensure she is invited to the next party to allow her to investigate her sisters disappearance.
There are lots of twists and turns as Amelia puts herself in danger go find out what happened to Rose. The lengths she goes to are totally believable due to her relationship with her sister and how they parted when she saw her last.
The setting of the party in the Norwegian Fjords was unusual and added to the atmosphere.
I enjoyed this thriller and would recommend.

How far would you go to find out what had happened to your missing sister? This isn’t a question most of us have to ask, but when Amelia’s sister Rose goes missing and the trail goes cold, she finds a clue in her sister’s home that will lead her on a journey undercover into the rich and private Fowley family.
Invited to their annual summer party weekend in Norway as her new boyfriend’s plus one, Amelia is determined to hunt for clues as to what happened when her sister attended the previous year. With a gaudy display of wealth and greed, nothing is quite as it seems at the Fowley party, including - especially - the family itself.
This is proper edge of the seat stuff, and while the book starts slowly to set the scene while Amelia lays the groundwork for her plan, the second half of the book is a true page-turner that I couldn’t put down until the last page. There are a couple of big twists along the way, as well as a real sting in the tail.
This is the ideal novel to take on holiday: taut, well-plotted, and with its share of glitz and glamour. Really enjoyed this, and will look out for more from Amy Cunningham in future. Many thanks to Transworld and NetGalley for the ARC.

I haven't got too much to say about this book. I was really excited to read it initially and when I got into it I did really enjoy the concept and premise. It really touches on the theme of sisterhood and revolves around this super exclusive party in Norway that is being hosted by a billionaire.
But unfortunately it just didn't take off for me in the way I was hoping it would. There were so many plot points that didn't make sense and getting through this book was tough for me. It really lacked a momentum despite the very exciting and thrilling premise it was based on. I also was not a fan of the wording at all, there were parts that felt like they didn't make sense at all like when the protagonist is preparing for this big event and claims she has 'put hours in the gym training to defend' herself. Huh?
Unfortunately, the plot and pacing just lacked major oomph for me!

The Serial Killers Party is a gripping thriller that follows the story of Amelia. Her sister, Rose disappeared a year ago and the police don’t appear to be doing much to find her. But then she’s invited to a luxury party in Norway, hosted by a billionaire. It’s the party of the century and Amelia is certain she will find answers to what really happened to Rose. After spending months preparing, she heads to Norway where all the guests become suspects. This book had me hooked from the start. There are plenty of twists and turns then when you think you have it sussed, the author throws another twist into the mix, keeping you guessing. Thank you to NetGalley, Random House UK, Transworld Publishers and the author for the chance to review.

A good book with plenty of twists and turns and a surprise ending. Don't read before going to bed. It will give you nightmares.

A bit slow to start with but then picked up pace and was an easy read keeping me gripped as it went along.
My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book.

One of those books that for me would do better as a tv rtaher than a book. Good premiae with a different setting than usual. It just didn't have the wow factor for me.

you think your going to read a thriller about a party. but what you dont know is you should be keeping an eye on just who is coming to said party and why. because one of these people isnt their for the rich or grandeur of it all. they arent there to have their trumpets blown or to post to social media in the beautiful scene of Norway. no one is here for revenge. something she has took her time getting to act out. she has done all she can to make sure she can get this revenge and the part feels like the perfect place. someone is going to regret taking her sister from her. and they arent going to see it coming. but events at the event take a turn. and is Amelia now in danger herself from something she didnt predict or see coming?
i think this book was a terrific page turner. i like how it followed a very poorly and sadly human girl dealing with grief. the type which turns her sadly quite poorly in her need and desire for revenge. grief and love can skew any sense of self or rational thinking. and ok this is the extreme. but i tell you now what would you do or think of doing if you thought you new just who was responsible for killing your brother, sister or someone you love. i dont think many could say there thoughts dont spiral. this is exactly what is happening to our main character who vows to find out about the disappearance of her sister and then act accordingly when she does.
the sharp and short chapters help this book build tension. the human side to Amelia. how she would stop at nothing.
it also showed a more true depiction of ALL the problems with wealth which are fitting for even the real world and sadly to many of our todays issue. wealth and privilege can wield power or shield people. it can cause harm and does do so. the injustice of this power dynamic and huge gap between those and those who have not is never truer than the world we are all currently living in. and i think this book does a really good job at showing just those kinds of people and how truly yucky alot of them are.
this book had so much twisty, suprising, eeesh moments to it and i was up and down with emotions throughout.
it was a brilliant thriller. one you could read quickly which matches the need to know what happened and see how this ends.

Well, that was a bit of a treat.
I’ve been struggling with my choices of books recently. A couple of books I was intending to review just didn’t work for me – partly because of their length and relatively slow pace. This was a perfect antidote, a fast moving mystery/thriller. It’s not trying to do anything particularly complex – a single narrative with a reliable narrator, looking for justice and, inevitably, a murderer.
And it caught me out at the end. Completely.
At about 90% of the book, I was already composing how to bring my old friend Captain Obvious into the story. There’s a reveal at about the 80% point that is supposed to be a surprise – and quite probably would surprise a lot of readers – that I guessed was coming quite a while ago. So there was I, walking along the pavement reading my Kindle – I do look where I’m going – thinking how best to praise a book that I’d enjoyed but had been a tad clumsy (to me at least) in hiding the murderer.
And then… damn, I did not see that. So well done, Amy Cunningham. Very nicely played.

So the start was good but as it continued I started to get bored. It was slow in a lot of places and i struggled to get into it and ended up skimming a few times.
I liked the premise, it sounded good and I was excited to read it. The start was very promising but then I feel like it was too slow. There were a few twists, some I guessed and some I didn’t.
I don’t really have a favourite character, I didn’t feel connected to any of them which made it hard to read as well.
Overall, it’s an okay book, I usually like mysteries but this just wasn’t for me.

Welcome to the Fowley Estate and the party everyone is dying to get an invite to!
I really enjoyed this destination thriller with a difference.
Amelia's sister Rose is missing, and was last seen at the party event of year. The police aren't interested in helping so Ameila takes matters into her own hands and we follow along as she embarks on a mission to find her sister.
Invitation to the next party secured, we land in remote Norway surrounded by dark forestry and deep fjords. At the luxurious and decadent manor estate, a 3 day lavish and hedonistic party unfolds as bodies start piling up and Ameila starts her investigations.
I liked Ameila and admired her bravery and tenacity (even if she did make me nervous!) The Fowley family were a really interesting dynamic and the seemingly unlikeable brothers are characterised brilliantly.
Tightly plotted, well paced and full of twists and red herrings - it keeps you guessing throughout. I loved the ending and did not see it coming at all! The Serial Killer's Party is fun and thrilling.
Definitely a book to pack in your suitcase this summer! Perfect for fans of authors like Lucy Foley, Ruth Ware and Alice Feeney.

You are invited to a party at an elusive Millionaire's estate in the middle of Norway! We start with Amelia's sister, Rose is missing. Amelia has reported this fact to the police but they don't investigate it as they should. So Amelia decides to turn her life around and goes on a hunt to find a family member that can take her to the next one. What follows is a story so twisted, humorous at times, and dark and all is not what it seems at the party. Amelia is seeking answers to the disappearance that she must look for the truth within the house and take chances she is not caught. It was full of twists and turns with a few red herrings with an ending I never saw coming.

The Serial Killers Party was a read I had no idea where it was going.
Amelia’s sister is missing, they fell out shortly before she went to Norway to a mansion in the middle of nowhere for a weekend party. The police have been no use so Amelia takes it upon herself to find her sister and to do that she needs to get herself an invite to this high end party. The only way she can do it is to get in with a family member, which she does. For a year Amelia changes her name slightly and is dating one of the wealthy cousins. The invite appears and all her background research she has done comes to fruition. The parties are held over three nights and start off tame and become insane. During her time there she must get into the mansion and search personal headquarters to uncover anything about her sister but this is easier said than done, especially when you don’t have anyone to trust.
This was a fast paced read that had an array of different characters making the book interesting. The storyline was a bit out there but worked well with the scenery and characters. There were lots of surprises and twists and turns along the way making it a decent beach read. Another decent thriller from this author again.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Random House UK, Transworld Publishers for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

The Serial Killer's Party is a high-society shindig slash(er) nightmare where secrets are deadly, revenge is the dress code, and you should really be glad your name's not on the guest list. Trust me, you do not want to come in... because you could very well be coming out in pieces - and not the kind that require a full English to soak up.
It's vodka-fuelled rich people behaving badly, with secrets stacked higher than the Louboutins they're tottering around in, and murder lurking behind every champagne fountain. Sinister with a side of bonkers and an explosive finale.
And let's be clear - there's nothing subtle about this book. If you want rich people, chaos, revenge fantasies, and murder, put your name on the list. Just don't forget: the guest list isn't the only deadly thing.
3.5 stars, rounded up for entertainment value. Just... don't drink the prosecco.
Thank you to NetGalley for sending me the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Okay...I did not see that ending. A missing sister leads Amelia to infiltrate a family who every year holds an infamous party...or, more accurately, several days of parties. She sets out to find her missing sister, but slowly finds a series of missing people from parties over the years, and as she begins to dig deeper and partake in some entering and breaking, bodies start to rack up at the famous family home. Our host is elusive, quiet and doesn't seem like the party animal every one paints him to be. He also doesn't see eye to eye with Amelia, but as the story unfolds they seem to see each other secrets and unravel all these mysteries. I whizzed through this and enjoyed the slow burn reveal alongside the insane fast paced partying...
