This was not what I was expecting, in a great way. I saw only one of the twists coming, although one it was a bit out of the blue, but I really liked the story.
I'm going to read more books by Amy Cunningham for sure.

The description for this really drew me in, and I was hoping for a 5 star read, but after reading, it felt more like your typical thriller for reading on the beach on holiday- not a bad thing, but not what I was expecting

I enjoyed the character progression of Amelia, but there were more questions left unanswered by the end of it, I am wondering f there will be more from Amy Cunningham in this world as a result.

Draws you in from the beginning and holds your attention right to the end! Lots of twists and turns on the way. Really enjoyed it.

Despite the blurb immediately drawing me in, I liked this but didn’t love it.
It was interesting to see Amelia completely transform her life to guarantee an invite to this year’s party. And there was enough going on to keep my attention the whole way through.
It was a real page turner, in that sense.
However, I’m just not sure about there being three murderers in the one family. And we don’t even really find out why Rose was murdered.
It’s kind of hinted that it was to impress Ford but it just seemed so random. Given that this was the driving force behind the story, it felt a bit anticlimactic.
I’m also used to things feeling quite unbelievable in books like this, but can you really watch a few YouTube videos and then be able to break any lock, open safes, etc? That just felt like too much of a leap for me.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, what a party that was! The story had it all, plot twists to keep you guessing and characters that you can both love and loath. This is one party I was glad I was not invited to. Definitely a must read!

I enjoyed this one but it didn't really blow me away. I found that despite her quest I never felt that connected to the main character, Amelia. None of the twists were particularly surprising, I'd worked lots out before the reveals. I did enjoy the setting and felt quite immersed in the Norwegian fjords.
3.5 Stars from me.

Took me a while to get into this book and once I did, I thought I'd already figured out who was behind the dastardly goings on in Norway - once I got to the end, I was proved right. I knew there was a partner to these crimes but my suspect list was quite long for that person.

The world of the rich and glamourous is not all it seems in this book.

Thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to review, this is my honest opinion

Twist on twist on twist! I love a book that has me so hooked that I’m reading it at lunch, in bed, when I wake up in the morning and when I’m drying my hair - this was exactly that. Unputdownable! Empathetic, flawed and messy characters who had real agency and desires. I look forward to seeing what Amy Cunningham writes next!

This book had me looking for meanings between actions by each character. The suspected abductor/ killer didn't seem to fit the bill, but nor did anyone else seem to be present for every death. I enjoyed trying to sort through the puzzle, but I did not see that ending coming!!

In search of her missing sister Rose at a wealthy businessman's lush estate a year after she disappeared, Amelia is desperate to find out what actually happened to her younger sister, and to rescue her if possible.

Having scored an invite to the exclusive event being held at the estate Amelia has no idea what she is stepping into - even if she thinks otherwise!

This is a fast paced and very dark story about sibling relationships, the rich, the famous and the psychopaths, and the way these categories overlap. Sinister but entertaining story telling - it gets 3. 5 stars.

The Serial Killer’s Party by Amy Cunningham is an entertaining story about a once a year party invitation to the Fowley three day party in Norway.
Amelia and her partner Ford Fowley have now received their invitation for this year’s event. Amelia is with Ford under false pretences, in her former life she was a barrister but now she is working as a fitness trainer and looks the part.
Her sister went missing a year ago after receiving an invitation for last year’s party from the head of the Fowley dynasty, Lawrence. Ford is his cousin and would like a bigger role in the family business affairs.
Amelia is going with Ford and will try to find out what happened to her sister, Rose.
The parties are legendary affairs and are attended by the rich and powerful business associates of the Fowley family. It also appears that other people went missing or died after being at a Fowley party.
There are many twists and turns, secrets and lies before the truth is known and justice will be done.
Highly recommended

An utter page-tuner. The serial killer's party is a polarizing twisted thriller book that packs a jaw- dropping punch. The story follows a woman's search for her missing sister and her well-thought-out plan of finding out what actually transpired. An exclusive party, a celebration however Amelia is a woman with a mission.

Wondering if you should pick this up, my answer is ABSOLUTELY! This book will consume your every waking hour. The twists and turns and spiralling suspense as well as thrills, everything was planned to the T. The narration is fast-paced and gripping, it doesn't have a single dull moment. Pushing the boundaries of trust and justice, you will feel like being part of the story.

I was lucky enough to receive this before it’s released date, and as soon as I seen the cover and the name of this book I knew I had to read it. A boy did it not disappoint, I literally thought I had the plot then it took a twist and what a twist it was. This kept me guessing the whole time I was reading and it had me hooked!!
Thank you Amy

The book follows Amelia, a barrister, who has been in contact with police after her sister goes missing. A year later, and with no answers, she decides to retrace her sister’s last movements at a luxury three day event in Norway.

This was a fun, dark and thrilling read with intriguing characters that really come to life. I really liked the female main character and her determination to find out what happened to her sister.

I found the book to be intense and it had me completely hooked. I thought the ending was really well done, I did not see any of it coming! It’s an easy read too and the luxury setting was truly unique.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Pacy, Tense..
When barrister, Amelia, realises that her sister has disappeared- and is not simply ignoring her following a falling out- she embarks on a mission to find her. Spending time carefully curating her plans and with a party hosted by a billionaire in Norway bound to go awry, the situation begins to get very dangerous indeed. Pacy, intense and immersive with a fast moving plot populated with a well drawn, oft unlikeable cast, this is a compelling novel of revenge and retribution.
