In the this, the follow up to Fool Me Once, we find Sami Kierce chasing a ghost from his past, trying to find the truth about what really happened when he was back packing in Spain 22 years ago.

A strong story with some very unexpected turns and a really interesting set of characters. Samis’ night school class are a lovely mix of everyday people, with their own quirks and background stories. I love Raymond, someone who most people would just ignore as they passed him in his spot on the streets; Arthur, the young lawyer in Samis’ corner, and Molly, the love of his life.

This book kept me reading through the night, as I just needed to know how it would all work out. I loved the final twist, along with the rest of this fast paced, intricate and satisfying read.

I loved this twisty, turny thriller. It keeps you guessing, then guessing some more and even when you think you've got it, there's still one final twist. A Coben masterpiece in storytelling. The links to the previous Kierce book are brilliant. A book I couldn't put down.

Well just wow! Having read fool me once I knew I had to read this follow up and what a book it was. It follows Sami Kierce who appears in fool me once as he takes on a couple of cases, both of which are personal.

As always with Harlan Coben’s book I was pulled in from the very first word. There was plenty going on to keep you in the story and keep the cogs whirring. I’m not sure I have the words to unpack everything that happened but let’s just say it was twisty and brilliant with some utter shock moments and a blinder of an ending. I loved how there were little bits in there relating to the Myron Bolitar books without ever mentioning him.

In all a cracker of a book which I 100% recommend and I sincerely hope there will be a book 3!

Yet another utterly fantastic read by Harlan Coben! I was gripped from the very beginning & read the whole book in record time as I couldn't put it down! And what an absolutely phenomenal twist! 5stars!

Once again Harlan Coben is on top form.
Sami Kierce, is working as a private investigator.. in the evening he runs a night class for students with an interest in investigation. On one such evening a young woman enters his class. Sami recognises her as Anna a young woman from his past.
Over twenty years ago Kielce was backpacking around Spain. Whilst in Fuengirola he met Anna. They spent days and nights together until one morning he wakes up with a knife and covered in her blood Fearful of being charged with her murder he flees the country and lives with the demons.

How could Anna have appeared all these years later. Who is she? Now Kielce must find the answers to his questions .

This book was so fast paced and just drew you in. I loved the place it was set as it’s one of my favourite holiday destinations and I recognised all the places the author described.

This book got me hooked completely from the beginning to the end, it was a real page turner and I expected no less from this author. Highly recommended and thank you to netgalley and the publishers for giving me a copy of the novel.

Wow this book keeps you hooked from the first page . I couldn't put this book down I read it in a day . Hope this one gets made into a series . Can't wait for the next book .

WOW!! This book grabs you in from the first chapter and just doesn't let go. I stayed up until 2am just to finish it, it was that good and I desperate to find out what would happen. This book was a fast- paced, twisty and unputdownable whirlwind of a ride! I absolutely devoured it in one sitting.

So many twists and turns from the start. I was kept on the edge of my seat and enthralled throughout. A hair-raising psychological thriller.

Finally, what an ending!! It was phenomenal! A very worthy five stars from me. I’d highly highly recommend this book it was another fantastic book by Harlan Coben.
