First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

I enjoyed reading this book but it wasn’t my favourite of Elle Kennedy’s. I just felt that the story should have been about the relationship between the two MMC or the FMC and either of the MMC. Too much going on but also not a lot of depth.

Elle Kennedy has beautifully written Charlie, Beck and Will's story, intertwining all three POVs with equal payoff. I can't say any more without giving spoilers but having waited with eager anticipation for Will/Beck's turn to be the main characters, this book was everything I wanted it to be and more.

Elle Kennedy is an auto read author for me
ever since I started with the Off Campus series and i love the next generation series, this was a fun read
whilst it wasn’t my favourite and was a little choppy here and there, I still highly recommend reading it as it’s the last in the 3 part book series

Very enjoyable read. I haven't read any Elle Kennedy books so I read this as a standalone despite it being part of a series, but it was super easy to follow along and I really liked the storyline and the characters! A great read, and I can't wait to read more of Elle's books.

I read this in just over a day and loved nearly every second of it. Elle Kennedy has officially become a go-to author for me—her voice, her humor, and the chemistry she builds between characters? CHEFS KISS. The dynamic between Charlie and the MMC had me giggling and kicking my feet.
A FEW KEY THINGS TO KNOW:
Set in a college town
Grumpy x sunshine
“I hate how much I like you” vibes
Strong female friendships
Witty banter and real emotional stakes
STEM girl FMC 💻🧠
Broody athlete MMC 🏈
Medium spice, high tension 🌶️
This was an easy 4.5 star read for me and I'm already itching to pick up whatever Elle writes next. If you're into smart, funny, heartfelt romance with just the right amount of angst—The Charlie Method needs to be on your tbr ASAP.

Classic Elle Kennedy. I love that she has gone back to her college hockey romance roots. Nostalgic for those that loved her previous work getting to revisit the Briar U Campus! Incredible cameos and toe curling romance - extra points because I love seeing poly and MMF relationships being represented more in traditionally published romance

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25
It was good but just too long! My least favourite in the series but I loved the relationship exploration with Charlie, Will and Beckett. Charlie was my favourite, with her light and dark side, she felt different from any of Elle’s others FMCs in a good way. Will and Beckett were fun, and I enjoyed the build up to the 3 of them meeting. It just felt a little disconnected from the rest of the series and more like a standalone. I just cannot believe we did not get one DP scene - ROBBED 😭😭😭

between all of them this is the one i was less attarcted to
elle kennedy made sure i still enjoyed it. but not my fav
What was 'The Charlie Method' trying to achieve? It certainly didn't feel like mfm and it certainly felt way too distant from the other off campus books

not at all what I was expecting from Elle Kennedy but it started meh and just goes completely not meh, very quickly. VERY spicy, and that causes no complaints on my end!

Elle Kennedy... you can do me no wrong! This book is the perfect why-choose romance. It follows the formula everyone knows and loves whilst still packing an emotional punch!
Something Elle just does amazingly well is bring you straight back into the 'Off Campus' world, with easter eggs from previous books/series it brings an air of nostalgia I love it! I just WISH it was 70-80 pages shorter... it would've been 5 stars!

This is the third book in the Campus Diaries series, a next generation off-spin set in the Briar U/Off Campus world. While each of the novels focuses on a different couple and works as a standalone, prior knowledge of the world will enrich the reading experience. I particularly feel that the hilarious short dad chat transcripts would be lost on someone unfamiliar with the series.
The Charlie Method focuses on best friends and hockey team mates Will and Beckett, who enjoy having threesomes with girls they meet on a hookup app. This is where they meet Charlie, prim sorority girl in public and wild risk taker when out of the spotlight, and anonymously chat for a while before hooking up and discovering who they have each been chatting to. In Elle's usual mold, there is great banter and chemistry between the characters, plenty of focus on elements beyond the romance (here, Charlie's conflict over having been adopted and feeling guilty about searching for her biological family), and some scorching hot scenes.
If you love a well-written steamy romance, you can't go wrong with Elle Kennedy!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The third instalment in the Campus Diaries series focuses on Will & Beckett (from the hockey team featuring throughout) and ‘good’ sorority girl Charlotte exploring a secret thruple relationship.
All of these books have been pretty raunchy but 🌶️🌶️🌶️. At times I can’t lie the spice seemed a little excessive but equally overall I did enjoy the book. I also found myself wondering when the spit roast was going to occur 🫣. Definitely not one for the faint hearted, but if you like your spice with a side of romance, this one is for you!

The Charlie method was a long anticipated release from the build up of Will & Beckett throughout books 1 and 2 and we finally got to meet Charlie.
Overall I enjoyed this book however I did feel the writing was a little more cringe at times and the relationship dynamics didn't really flow naturally for me personally. Elle still writes great banter and this didn't miss but unfortunately this one is my least favourite in the series.

Another Elle Kennedy book that had me well and truly hooked from beginning to end!
Brilliant characters, a compelling story and returning to a series I have come to adore... a fabulous read!

Its always a joy returning to the Off Campus/Briar U/Campus Diaries universe, and this was no different. I'm not usually a fan of slow burn, but the way Elle Kennedy executes it never fails to amaze me. I just want more books! Please!!!!

STEM Student Charlotte is the perfect daughter during the day, until she allows her night personality to take full throttle. This book was such fun and I enjoyed the dynamic of the trio.

I’ve been reading Elle Kennedy’s books set in the fictional Briar U for years. In fact, they were my first introduction to college sport romance. And throughout all this time there have been books that I liked, others that I found completely indifferent, and others that I just didn’t like at all. But this third series had the potential to be my favorite, since I loved The Graham Effect (so much so that I can say that it’s one of my favorite romance books) and I also liked The Dixon Rule quite a bit. If we add to that the fact that this third and final book was going to feature a couple of characters whose story I think was anticipated by all readers of the previous two books, it goes without saying that I had certain expectations. And that’s why it annoys me to say that, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to them.
Will and Becket are two best friends and hockey teammates who like to have threesomes with girls. This has always been about sex only, but when Charlie, a STEM student, enters their lives, they find themselves involved in a polyamorous V relationship. As the three of them face their final year of college, they begin to consider what each of them wants to do with their lives in the future, as well as dealing with their different family conflicts (Charlie deciding to search for her biological family, Will having to deal with his father’s political career, Becket witnessing the disagreements between his parents regarding whether or not to return to Australia).
I was very intrigued by how the author was going to develop this dynamic, and while I liked that it portrayed a healthy relationship between all the parties involved and how they try to make it work realistically, the romance itself seemed very underdeveloped to me. Perhaps this was influenced by the fact that unlike the rest of the books, instead of two points of view the author has introduced three, which makes the number of pages per character more limited. Either way, I feel like we haven’t spent enough time inside each characters’s head, and even less time developing their relationship. We know they spend time together off-page, but we don’t really get to see how they get to know each other, since a good part of their on-page moments are sex scenes (which, by the way, most of them surprisingly made me cringe), so that made me not really see how or why Charlie falls in love with them and vice versa.
Overall, I was bored for most of the book. I was more interested in the individual character development than in the relationship, due to the lack of Charlie’s scenes with the boys that didn’t involve sex. I was also bothered by a couple of aspects, like the whole thing of Becket and his ex-girlfriend (I still don’t understand why he made that up) or certain stereotypes that the author falls into with some characters, especially the Australians. On the other hand, I did like some scenes towards the end, especially the one between Charlie and her family in which several truths come to light, as well as the chapter before the epilogue. But all in all, this was a rather disappointing read.

Returning to an Elle Kennedy romance is always going to feel comforting to me, after reading so much of her backlist last year. She definitely has a way of pulling you into the plot and getting you invested in the characters. A dynamic like the one Will, Beckett & Charlie have is quite rare to pull off well, but Kennedy made it feel very authentic and believable.
One of the strongest elements of THE CHARLIE METHOD is its emphasis on female empowerment. We do get to tap into Charlie’s internal monologue of her shame around her sexual preferences and her desire to feel sexually liberated as a woman. This kind of representation is important, especially as she overcomes these struggles.
However, at times it felt like Kennedy had bitten off more than she could chew here in terms of individual character conflicts. I wished we could have stripped some of this back and done without certain characters completely, so the reader could build even more of a connection to the central characters. I think this ultimately led to the ending feeling quite rushed, and the conflict resolution felt too easy as attention was misplaced.
This was actually the first time I’d read a book from Elle Kennedy’s CAMPUS DIARIES series, and I’m definitely going to go back and read the others!

I absolutely loved this book. It was fun and exciting. Really easy to read and brilliant characters.
