My first book by Kerry was Home Is Where The Lies Live and this one is my second book and this one is another 5 star rating from me.
There's something very special about how this author writes.
The style, the story line and how everything comes together is just brilliant.
I will eventually get through all of his books and read all the others that are yet to be released.

Jennifer receives an ominous phone call from her son, Daniel, late at night. "It wasn't me," was all he said before the line went dead. Not long after, the police show up at Jennifer's house with some bad news. The details of the tragedy sound eerily familiar to Jennifer, and Daniel is now missing.

The storyline takes place during two different time periods, 24 years ago and the present. Twenty-four years ago, Jennifer was a college student in the same town where Daniel is currently attending college.

Jennifer will do whatever it takes to find her son and prove his innocence. There was an interesting cast of characters that she suspected, each looking guiltier than the other. Trying to figure out who the guilty party was may seem obvious to the reader, but are things ever really that obvious?

Another brilliant thriller from Kerry Wilkinson, I couldn't put it down. A fantastic story with a brilliant and shocking ending. I loved it!

This is a gripping thriller that asks the ultimate question, what would you do for your child? Kerry has written a great thriller and I kept thinking what would i do in this situation. Plenty of tension, it was pacy throughout. I really enjoyed it.

Holy twists!!! Loved all the twists! The book grips you from the first page. I enjoyed the character development too.

Jennifer's son is accused of murdering his girlfriend and he has vanished.
She sets out to find him, and finds her past haunting her.

Brilliant thriller from Kerry Wilkinson!
I truly could not put this down.
It is fast paced, and the characters are well developed.
There are twists galore, and the ending!

Slow to start but it soon picks up pace. There are plenty of twists to keep you entertained. Surprise ending.

As usual i dropped everything to read this latest drama from the wonderful Kerry Wilkinson.
The characters were well written and i easily visualized each and everyone.
The storyline was fast paced and i raced along desperate to find out where Daniel was.
Plenty of red herrings which kept me guessing until the end.
Talking of the ending that was a real omg moment, thought i had worked it all out i was so wrong. Could there be a follow up?

I have enjoyed every book by Kerry Wilkinson. The newest, My Son’s Girlfriend, was a page turning thriller.

This talented author has written a page turner. Red herrings and secrets kept me guessing. Realistic characters kept this mystery moving. I was not sure what the outcome would be. That is unusual but true in this case. This is a cannot put down story. Enjoy. Thanks Netgalley.
