Capture the Moment by Suzanne Woods Fisher is a nice Christian romance with a mystery element. It was interesting to read about wild-life photography. I liked the characters and the character development. I loved how every character got healing/self-discovery. The mystery element was a little predictable but overall, it was an enjoyable read.

Here is a quote that I want to share;
“Maybe so.” Tim nodded, understanding. “Sometimes you need to embrace what’s right in front of you, even if it’s just for a season.”
That's some great advice for sure. I just had someone a friend for a season and now it's hard letting go like Coop says.
It's hard to get to know someone knowing that they may be in your life a short time.
I know God plans it that way but still....
This was a fantastic book with all new characters and a relaxing get away with some park Rangers that I really enjoyed in getting to know.
Fisher has done a wonderful job in keeping my attention and I love this new story of hers. This proves that she can write anything. It's what I love about Fisher.
I was happy to see that she had written a new one and had been wondering if she would.
Another quote is
Forget the former things do not dwell on the past. What a great reminder
Kind of what I'm going through which is why this story resonated with me in lots of ways.
5 stars for another amazing story of hope, resilience, and faith along with forgiving other people.
A definite can't put down book! I hated to see it end!
My thanks to Revell publishing via NetGalley for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

As someone who used to be a photographer, and as a believer, this book was right up my alley. I grew up going to national parks and exploring nature often, and I loved that Suzanne Woods Fisher created a beautiful story around Grand Teton.

I did have a little hard time with the pacing and jumping around to all the different characters in the third-person POV storytelling, but I enjoyed getting to know the characters on a deeper level that we would’ve missed out on had she kept the focus on the main FMC.

Capture the Moment is an earnest and faith-filled novel about finding your place in the world and using your efforts for God’s glory.

I’ve already had an interest in visiting national parks and this series is solidifying that with its first book, Capture the Moment. Author Suzanne Woods Fisher takes readers to Grand Teton National Park where her descriptions make me feel like a tourist viewing the beautiful wildlife. Yet there is danger lurking in this story in the form of a suspected poacher and how park rangers and staff might be able to catch him. A lot of characters are introduced right away but the glossary at the front of the book is helpful for remembering who’s who. The storylines intertwine among the varied characters, creating an interesting tapestry for the main and sub plots, as well as the inherent danger to be dealt with. This book has romance, mystery, adventure and humor along with a few plot twists I didn’t see coming, making it a very enjoyable read. I loved learning about this particular park and a bit about what park rangers do and enjoyed the author’s background notes at the end of the story. Looking forward to reading more in this series!

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher through NetGalley. A positive review was not required and these are my own and honest opinions.

Fisher wrote a book unlike one I have ever read! I felt as though I was behind the camera myself. The wonderful writing allows the reader to connect with the character as though it’s a forever friend. Beautifully done!

This is a stunning first installment of the National Parks Summers series by Suzanne Woods Fisher. Set in majestic Grand Teton National Park, this book showcases the personal growth that stems from interactions with people and nature.

I enjoyed the focus on wildlife photography, holding onto one’s dream, the important work of park rangers, and the power of nature.

When Kate Cunningham’s dream drives her to tap into Ranger Grant Cooper’s skill set, she learns that sometimes we overlook important things (like cues) in our desperate race for the prize. I appreciated the lesson I learned from this, too. In our hunt for success, we can get caught up in tunnel vision.

I found myself down a rabbit hole Googling Grizzly 399 and then when my emotions got the best of me, I worked through them by cleaning my DSLR.

I was gifted this copy by Revell and NetGalley and was under no obligation to provide a review.
