Have Krista and Becca Ritchie ever written something I havent’t loved?? Absolutely not.
I loved this second book about the Graves and Tinrock family, to dive deeper into their bonds and love for one another. Jake is a great addition to their merry band of six, and I cannot wait to see where his story is going.
This book was full of mystery, romance and spice, just the perfect mix.
I will very unpatiently await the next book in this series.

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
They never fail to give me what i want in a book. To be back in this world and with these characters is everything, After finishing book 1 when it came out i have been craving this book and when i tell you it delivered.

Wow. What a book!! I absolutely loved this. I’d even go as far as to say more than Dishonestly Yours!
This book picks up immediately after the end of the first book, so you need to have read that one in order to read & enjoy this. Otherwise you’re going to be very confused!
Whilst the first book centred more on Phoebe and Rocky, this one brought in much stronger elements of the siblings. The family / sibling bond in this book was so so good. They’re a unit, they’re indestructible, and they each play a key role in the grifting.
The storyline was non stop and kept me well and truly hooked. So many twists and turns - it was a ride. It was such a good composition of drama, intrigue, emotion and romance. Phoebe and Rocky’s chemistry was off the scale. I love those two both individually (as the seductress and the silver tongue) but even more so together. Getting to understand more about how much and how long Rocky has loved her made me swoon so hard.
I will be talking about this one for a long time. I can’t wait to read it again already.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read & review this book.

oh god, this book was EVEN BETTER than the first. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this found family that’s been created :) being able to see phoebe and rocky dating was EVERYTHING as someone who was screaming at them to ‘get together already’ in dishonestly yours. the wait was truly WORTH IT!!!
now listen … krista, becca … i am BEGGING you to please please please give us oliver-hailey-jake as a throuple!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 i NEED THEM so damn bad!!!!
rocky and jake’s friendship (ik surprising right 🤭) was giving ryke, connor and lo but if they were a duo 😫😫 don’t even get me started on the “our girlfriend” thing ;)
i never expected to find out everything regarding WHO our core six really were in this book— i figured we’d get a partial truth here and the full thing in dangerously ours but i’m certainly not complaining here lol. it does make me excited to see how things with varrick will unfold 👀 trevor, though, honey you pissed me off with that ending … what he did ruined the con entirely like ??? how was no one mad at him ????

There was definitely more plot and interesting twists, and we got to see more of the cons! I still felt there was something lacking, but the ending!! I did not see that coming. The new love triangle that’s been introduced is definitely going to be interesting too! I was not expecting that twist.
I’d love to see a pov from Nova, Oliver, Hailey, Trevor and even Jake. I’m excited to see more of them in the next book!
Thank you NetGalley and PanMacmillan for the arc!

3.5
This is the 'Addicted Series' in sheep's clothing. At some points, I'm pretty sure there were lines from that series taken and plopped right in here.
I enjoyed that we spent more time in the con with the characters. I'm loving getting to see the dynamic between the kids a lot more, and them bringing in more people to help. I will say, Hailey has to be the worst character and everyone seems to be ignoring it... genuinely an awful best friend and person. I hope we see her grow in book 3.
The relationship development is truly atrocious. My issue with friends-to-lovers is authors feel like they don't need to convince us that the couple belong together... but I need the development, I want to see them grow together as a couple. And unfortunately from some rather skim worthy smut, their relationship is boring and has no real thought put into it.
However, the plot twists were plot twisting. The last 15% of this book had my mouth fully open because I had no idea what was happening!
I will likely continue the series but I will say, this is definitely a filler book heading towards what I feel is the main storyline.

I loved this second installment, I loved seeing characters I missed so much!
Plot wise I cannot say much as it's the perfect example of character driven book, but I enjoyed reading more of this family of con artists!

4 / 5 🕸️🖤
I love how addictive KB Ritchie books are!
A huge thank you to the publisher and authors for an early copy in exchange for an honest review!
I ate this up. I love Phoebe and Rocky so freaking much, their connection, their romance, all their goddamn interactions. And Rocky, the man he is, some of the one-liners this man comes out with, I'm like wow, love, swoon. I will always be down bad for the best friend's OLDER brother trope and this was delivers. Also it's KB Ritchie of course it's going to hit.
I still struggle with the plot sometimes in these books, but the cons and the mystery are at times gripping. I LOVE the family drama. Can't wait to see what else Phoebe and Rocky have in store, in DANGEROUSLY OURS!!!

This series just keeps getting stronger, and this latest instalment is no exception. The characters are without doubt the heart of the story – the found family dynamic is both moving and entertaining, and it’s easy to become completely engrossed in their journey. Rocky and Phoebe’s chemistry is an absolute highlight; their banter is electric and brings a much-needed dose of humour and warmth amidst the chaos. Fans of the Addicted series will love the parallels in character dynamics, especially the friendship between Jake and Rocky, which echoes the camaraderie of Connor, Ryke, and Lo in all the best ways. The plot is packed with twists and turns, and the group’s scheming and planning make for an engaging read that’s hard to put down.
That said, the pacing isn’t perfect. While the first half of the book felt a little slow to get into, the second half more than makes up for it with rising tension, character growth, and some major reveals that leave you desperate for more. The depth of the characters really comes through as the story progresses, although there’s still a lot left to uncover in future books. Overall, it’s a gripping and emotionally charged read with strong character relationships, thrilling plotlines, and just enough unresolved threads to keep readers eager for what’s next. A solid 4 stars – and the next book can’t come soon enough.
Thank you NetGalley for this EArc

After loving Book One, I was fully prepared to be wrecked by Destructively Min—but instead, I found myself a bit lost in the tangle of plot threads. Krista & Becca Ritchie (aka the powerhouse duo behind the Addicted series) continues to do what they do best: writing flawed, compelling characters that pull you in whether you want them to or not. And once again, I couldn’t look away from Phoebe Graves and her messy, magnetic life.
That said, the story itself felt more chaotic than cohesive. While the premise still had tons of potential—ex-grifters trying to go straight in a town full of secrets—I missed the tight narrative arc and emotional focus of the first book. The pacing was uneven, and it felt like the plot was juggling too much at once without giving any one element enough weight.
And yes… I know I might be in the minority here, but I’m just not sold on Hailey’s storyline. The triangle-ish situation she’s in didn’t spark anything for me, and instead of anticipation, I found myself dreading the parts that shifted toward her.
Still, Phoebe is a character I’d follow through any con. Her connection with Rocky (Brayden, if we’re being formal) brought some of the strongest emotional beats, and their dynamic continues to deliver in quiet, powerful ways. The inclusion of Phoebe’s mother added a sharp, interesting edge—but again, it came in a little too late and a little too loud, tipping the scale from tension to chaos.
This is definitely not a standalone. If you haven’t read Book One, you’ll be scrambling. And as for me? Even with the bumps, I know I’ll keep reading—because I’m weak for this brand of character-driven drama and because I need to see where it all lands.
Final verdict: It didn’t blow me away, but it still had those signature Ritchie moments that hit just right. I wanted a cleaner con and got a messier truth—but hey, maybe that’s the point.

After the ending of the first book I’ve been so excited to read destructively mine and see what happens next. This book was filled with twists and turns and there were several times that I gasped at things that had been revealed. I love the found family in this book I would love books from other people’s POVS just because I love all the characters so much. I loved the romance and watching their relationships grow and learn what it’s like to be together when it’s not for a con. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and hopefully see all the characters get their happy ending. The only thing I would say is that it took a while to get the plot going it really started to pick up at the 30% mark. I would also love to see the characters talk about their trauma more as it’s hinted at but never fully discussed.

a bit disappointed with this one :( the first one in the series was 5 stars so i was so excited for this one and im not sure what happened but i just didn’t care

“There will never be a day, a night, a minute, a moment, a breath where you aren't destructively mine. And I hope it fucking terrifies you.”

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for approving me to read this book, I’m rating it 4.5 stars rounded to 5.
I am so obsessed with these characters, and book 2 did not disappoint one bit. The story expands so much with secrets revealed and betrayals resurfacing to cause chaos. The romance remains deliciously good with some new romantic dynamics and previous dynamics still as tension filled as ever.
I highly recommend this series for lovers of a fun and scheming romance with mystery and secrets throughout. I will absolutely be requesting the next book ASAP.

this was honestly so so insane, so many twists and shocking that moments that made me audibly gasp.
i loved the characters finding so much more out about the story / mystery of their parents and the small town in victoria ! everything about the groups dynamic and phoebe & rocky's relationship was so so perfect ...
need need need the second one and more answers to the amount of questions i have !

Krista and Becca Ritchie have done it again.
They’ve managed to absolutely hook me with the last 10% of the book, making me itch to have the next book in hand before this one is even published!
First off, I want to start by saying how much I truly love the concept. A family of con artists is such a unique plot for a romance series and one thing the authors do brilliantly is the found family trope and intense and incredibly hot (seriously, what the hell) characters.
I am always astounded to read how good Ritchie are at weaving webs throughout the series (pun intended), hiding secrets and revealing them in a way that truly leaves the reader speechless because you didn’t see it coming. My jaw was hanging open for the last 10% of the book.
Unfortunately, that’s not true for the other 90%. Before I get into detail as to why, I in no way am saying that this is a bad book. I enjoyed the read and will 100% pick up the next book in the series because I am dying to know how it continues. I just think you have to be prepared for the first half of the book to be a little slow.
Destructively Mine starts where Dishonestly Yours left off and don’t get me wrong, it was still nice to read but whenever I thought that something of importance happened and I wanted them to dive deeper into the topic, the next chapter would either be smut OR there would be a massive time jump of a few weeks to months, with little explanation how the characters dealt emotionally with such life-changing revelations.
I understand that you can’t make the entire book a roller coaster ride and that it is a slow con they are playing but I would have loved a more emotional approach and more scenes with the core 6. We got a lot of Rocky and Phoebe, which isn’t bad, but it felt like we got too little of the rest of them. I can’t give examples since those would contain huge spoilers.
Thank you to Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for an earc in exchange for an honest review!
Destructively Mine is out April 29th 2025!

Thank you NetGalley and Pan Macmillan for sending me this ebook. All thoughts are my own.
”The one girl who has burrowed so deep in me, I can’t cut her out without bleeding out.”
In true Krista and Becca Ritchie fashion, they have developed such a strong cast of characters. Especially as this series follows one main romance, they’ve still managed to give side characters depth and personalities. I really loved the growth of Rocky and Jake’s friendship in particular. It was unexpected but done naturally. I also liked the dynamics with both of them and Phoebe, and how the real/fake relationships were handled. I was sort of expecting a jealous and miscommunicative nightmare, but it wasn’t like that at all really. A relief.
There’s something about the authors’ writing style that is so distinct to me. I think if you read out a passage from one of their books and told me to guess who wrote it, I’d know that it was by Krista and Becca Ritchie. Although sometimes it is strange for me as I have read all their other books and sometimes I see similar stuff cropping up, I have to give them credit for writing plot alongside their romances.
This book (and series in general) has numerous twists, turns, and plotlines that motivate you to keep going. It was easily digestible and I just flew through it quickly. Without the same number of flashbacks to past cons as in the first book (which I did enjoy!), this one was fast paced in a way that suited the overall plot. This sequel starts off exactly where the previous one finishes, which made getting into the book a bit disorientating for me because it felt like I was just picking up a book that I was reading and paused halfway through months ago. However, I do think it suited the story/plot, so I’m not complaining.
One of my main gripes, however, is the side romances that are going on. Might be a spoiler (!!!!) but I don’t like the thought of either a love triangle or a polyamorous relationship where this plotline is concerned, and considering I like all the characters involved I am slightly disappointed. Hopefully KBR have plans for the third book that deal with it all in a way I like and that makes sense for the characters. We shall see…

I really enjoyed the first in this series Dishonestly Yours and was really looking forward to seeing how the story developed in the second book in this series. I enjoyed how we get to know more of the characters in this book and that there were lots of twists and turns throughout. This book finished up in a similar way to the first with a big cliff-hanger and lots of questions about how the story will develop. I'm looking forward to picking up the next book and unravelling some more secrets and plot twists.

3.75/4 stars⭐️
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book. I loved the first one in this series so as soon as I saw this one, I couldn't wait to read it! This one was good too but it didn't grip me as much as this first one. Still loved the characters and the story and the ending..... I need more of it now!

I'm so conflicted about this one. My expectations were high, but it sadly fell flat.
The pacing was off, very choppy at times, and the plot was not as explored as I would have liked. For such a long book, I would have hoped for more scenes of the cons.
Some of the characters really got on my nerves. Namely, Hayley. I didn't like how she manipulated Phoebe in the first book, and in this one, everyone catered to her needs while Rocky and Trevor were completely ignored and were going through the same. Maybe it's me, I hate love triangles and why choose, especially when I care about Oliver and Jake, and I'm not a fan of Hayley. The ending was the last straw for me.
Rocky and Phoebe romance was also disappointing. There is so little romancing and so much sex, especially when they try to set their relationship apart from Hayley's with the boys. The only difference is that they're in a monogamous relationship. I wanted more moments of them being tender and cute.
Found family is one of my favourite tropes and it was my favourite thing in this book. For the most part, they all stuck together and were very protective of one another. I loved that Jake was brought into their fold and how caring and worried he is for everyone's safety.
There were a few interesting twists for sure, some very predictable. But for a 500-page book, it wasn't enough to make up for the issues I had with some of the characters.
I don't really know what I want to see in the next book. I'm a bit lost because this one fell short, but I'm still curious. I hope to see more of Nova in the next book. He is so underdeveloped and underappreciated, and I find his character very interesting and with potential to be important in what comes next.
