This was an enjoyable rom-com with funny and heartfelt moment all the way through. A read that I would definitely recommend for a holiday in the Sun!

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this book

a light hearted read that covers some serious issues.....

becky mooney loves to sing as her alter ego dolly parton.... she able to perform as dolly and it helps her get over the stage fright she endured as a teenager

but life changes and her kenny quits on her and she wonders where her life will be and can she still perform as dolly....

but her part time job in a jewellery store has ended badly when she was arrested for theft.... it was bizarre.... and what she couldnt hack was after she was released she was nearly acosted by a ginger haired thief who had grabbed her bag when she fell down the stairs outside the police station.. she had given him what for though and had nearly knocked him out

but why did he have to suddenly appear right in front of her when she was about to go on stage as dolly.... life was cruel

and so began the tale of becky mooney and her road to discovering what she wanted to be

its funny in places and outragous in others but it keeps you reading to find out just what else is going to happen with becky

Uplifting, sassy, and full of Dolly-inspired wisdom ✨🎤💖. What Would Dolly Do? is a feel-good, empowering story that channels the spirit of Dolly Parton—confidence, kindness, and chasing your dreams. Suzan Holder delivers humour, heart, and relatable life lessons wrapped in a charming, fun-filled plot. I adored the uplifting message, quirky characters, and unapologetic celebration of being your fabulous self. Perfect for fans of heartwarming fiction with a touch of sparkle and country charm.

Thank you to NetGalley for this arc of the brilliant “What Would Dolly Do? “ by Suzan Holder (publication date 17th July) Becky is a Scottish Dolly Parton tribute act learning how to go it on her own when she loses ‘ her 'Kenny' . This book has a lot of love to give Becky is a wonderful character after all having songs like 9 to 5 and Jolene will not let a girl get down for long. A wonderful feel good book about a living legend and her Rhinestone boots. So glad I read this brilliant book would highly recommend it

I thought I'd enjoy this, but I couldn't relate to the main character, Becky. She was so silly. Who does that? Take home jewellery and then wonder why you've been arrested for theft. An interesting theme, if you like country music that is. With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A heart warming delight of a read … Becky had spent her life performing country songs from a young age with her parents and in daily life with her partner Robbie performing as the legend Dolly Parton . Things change when Robbie aka Kenny decides to leave town but then things get very interesting. By chance Becky meets a country superstar Tom who encourages her to continue singing but not as Dolly as Reba the new persona for Becky. Great characters lovely story with the backdrop of Nashville and country … loved it !!

As a Scottish lover of country music this book sounded totally up my street but unfortunately I had to mark it as did not finish. A woman working as a Dolly Parton tribute act is having something of an identity crisis as she tries to work out who she is without the protection of Dolly. She falls for an American country singer who is incredibly famous and just happens to be visiting Edinburgh. It's a light read but I just wasn't in the mood for it when I read it.

This was such a sweet book! I loved the Dolly Partonesque reference and of course how Becky finds her own voice and personality along the way and maybe even some love too! Very sweet book! Especially if you love country music.
