Couple Goals by Kit Williams is a fun, fiery, and refreshingly inclusive romance set against the backdrop of women’s football. When a tough new manager shakes things up for the Tigresses, she brings in star striker Kira — instantly clashing with current MVP Maeve. Their rivalry is sharp, competitive, and charged with an underlying attraction that neither wants to admit.

At the same time, midfielder Adriana has her sights set on cheering up the team, and she knows just the person to help — her boss’s grumpy son Jacob, who might not be as unwilling as he seems.

The mix of romance, friendship, and strong female characters works brilliantly here, with a level of inclusivity that makes it stand out as one of the most diverse and representative spicy books I’ve read. Energetic, uplifting, and full of heart, this one is a real winner.

Romantic, hilarious, and full of heart 💘🎯. Couple Goals is a feel-good, laugh-out-loud story about love, relationships, and the messy reality behind perfect Instagram-worthy moments. Kit Williams delivers sharp humour, relatable characters, and swoony romance in equal measure. I adored the banter, the emotional honesty, and the reminder that real love is perfectly imperfect. A must-read for fans of modern rom-coms with heart, humour, and all the feels.

3.5 stars
Overall this was a very nice story of frienship and teamspirit and how new circumstances - and relatioships - can challenge them.
I liked, that both main characters were complex personalities, although them dealing with some of their hardships fell a bit short in the end. It felt a bit rushed in general.
I´m not the biggest fan of insta-love, but it was okay with Maeve and Kira, as it was more lust than love. Adriana and Jacob was a bit different. Jacob in general didn´t have much personality in my opinion and his actions, especially in the beginning didn´t make a whole lot of sense to me.
It was a fast read with some decent spice and a HEA nicely wrapped up in the setting of women´s football.
