Fire Mountain, what an awesome and exciting story!
Kit is a truck driver who is run off the road. Unfortunately, she hit her head and has no memory of the event or how a baby got in her truck. Cullen is a former police officer who likes his privacy. But his cop instinct tells him something more is going on, and they need his protection. Kit doesn't like needing a man's help, but what can she do? They're on a mountain that's getting ready to explode, and time is running out for them to evacuate. And now there's 2 men wanting to kill them all because they think that Kit was given something by the baby's mama.
With every page, this book keeps you hooked on the story, and you don't want to stop reading. And what an ending!! Wow!!

This is the first book I have read by Dana Mentink. Fire Mountain did not disappoint! RIght from the beginning I could not put it down. Full of nonstop action, suspense, and wonderful characters, this story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. If this is book one in the series, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I received an early copy for review. The opinions expressed are my own.

“…you big galoot…”
“-‘when you spend three days together crammed in an ATV with a stranger’s baby, running from a killer and a volcano, dodging bullets and lava, you learn all you need to know about a person’s character. ‘-
My first thoughts as I began reading this newest story by Dana Mentink were how much I loved the richness of the vocabulary and the imagery she portrays with her descriptive words. I pictured everything in my head so easily and the words flowed so smoothly. I thought, “Ah, yes. This is going to be a good story!”
And, wow! It sure didn’t disappoint! Nonstop action and intrigue from the very first page! I was absolutely hooked! I couldn’t get enough and I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series! A very enthusiastic 2 thumbs up! 👍🏻 👍🏻
