As soon as I opened the book, I was dragged into it. I loved the storytelling and I thought I was clever this time in thinking I knew how the story would develop. I was convinced I had seen through all the scheming and knew, very early on, what the outcome would be. 

Well, how wrong I was in thinking I knew it all. For a while the book goes indeed in the direction I had in my head, but instead of it being a road that took me straight from A to B, I suddenly braced myself. This was not what I had expected and that made me smile.

I love it when an author can take me for a ride and surprise me with an outcome I never imagined. 

Some things I could see coming from afar, other were uttery and deliciously surprising. Great book. I am looking forward to more stories by this author's hand. 5 stars

This was an emotive read and really pulled at my heartstrings it explored themes of emotional abuse and sexual assault which was done in a careful and diligent manner.

Nonetheless, Oh. My. Goodness. What a book! It kept me awake when I should have been asleep I couldn't put it down and kept me hanging onto every single word... l just needed to know what happened!

It was a gripping psychological thriller and kept me glued to the pages it was unputdownable and difficult to forget. My favourite character was Petunia as she had such an horrific time things went from bad to worse for her!

A massive 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars from me! 😊

Striaght away I was so drawn in by this book, it was just my type of book!! Although I guessed the twist it was still a great read.
