Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I loved reading this book.
Marion decides to rent the rooms in her house. Two ladies come to live in the Georgian house in Bath. Each has their own reasons for being there.
Slowly we learn about their lives from their viewpoints and a friendship begins to form between them and Marion.
The story had you hooked and it was hard to put the book down.
I loved the descriptions of the places in Bath.
I recommend this book.

I loved reading this beautiful story. It was so gentle and funny at times. The relationship between the women was perfect and as it was set in the beautiful city of Bath made it more special. A real feel good story. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

Fast becoming a favourite author of mine. Loved this book from the first page. A tonic for the soul. Would make a brilliant series.

This book could be part of a series where we explore all the residents on this street. but back to this particular house. wow, can i move in or be adopted into this little household. or just sit on the sofa and be scooped up by them all? no. ok for now ill just fall in love with the book. this book is like a warm hug to the soul. Kate Forster is quick become one of my favorites of the genre. she is a talent for books that seam to warm you from every page you read. and you get fully invested in the strories and characters. i have a few fave genres but this one is always one i could happily come back to time and time again.
this story is about our brilliant 70 year old Marion who is the perfect 70 year old woman character. when she falls on hard time she decides to open up her home to lodgers. the first is Felicity who is a overworked Phd student and Lana who is newly separated and needs a home and new direction in her life. but what comes next is a beautiful coming together of three souls and blooming friendship that will change all their lives and heal a little bit of all of them...and all of us.
Kate is such a wonderful story teller. she can tell both characters and the story in equal measure. all our characters in this book have their baggage and things going on but as a group and on thier own they are good people. Marion is a fantastic and witty soul and i want her in my life any day of the week. the other two girls all need her but also give her so much in return.
i couldnt recommended this book more. and implore you to read it. youll feel so much better for it. and then, you might just want to seek out more from Kate because all her other books are just as wonderful to read. i just feel lucky i got to read this one.

This read is absolute balm for the soul! An immersive and captivating read with oodles of charm. I completely binged this book, could not put it down and now

I loved this book from the first chapter, I really enjoy reading from each perspective, the way the characters came together and the setting was amazing, it really made me want to visit Bath, each story was wonderfully told and kept me hooked, this is my first from the writer but hopefully not my last

Oh I inhaled this book! A perfect afternoon's read where you become familiar with our three leading ladies and they become your friends and you are rooting for them to succeed in changing their life's directions. An entertaining read that I would have loved to have lasted longer.

A lovely read about friendships. Really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend. Fast becoming a favourite author.

Kate Forster’s The Wisteria Crescent Chronicles is a charming and heartwarming novel that celebrates the beauty of unlikely friendships and fresh starts. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Bath, this cozy story weaves together the lives of three very different women, showing how shared struggles can lead to unexpected joy and companionship.
The story centers on 70-year-old Marion Gaynor, who, facing financial hardship, decides to open her grand Georgian home to lodgers. Enter Felicity Booth, a brilliant but overworked PhD student, and Lana Rolls, newly separated and seeking a new direction in life. What begins as a practical solution for Marion soon blossoms into a powerful story of connection and healing.
Forster's gift lies in her character development. Each woman brings her own baggage, and their personalities and stories unfold naturally, with warmth and authenticity. Marion’s dry wit and resilience, Felicity’s academic chaos, and Lana’s vulnerability create a delightful dynamic that keeps the story engaging. As they share meals, secrets, and quiet moments, their bond strengthens, illustrating how friendship can be as nourishing as family.
The author’s setting of Bath adds a layer of charm, with vivid descriptions of the historic city providing a beautiful frame for the story. The Georgian house, with its wisteria-covered façade, feels almost like another character—weathered but full of potential, much like its inhabitants.
The Wisteria Crescent Chronicles shines as an uplifting read, perfect for those who enjoy stories of community and kindness. Fans of Helen Rolfe, Heidi Swain, and Philippa Ashley will find themselves right at home. Forster delivers not only a delightful escape but also a gentle reminder that life’s best surprises often come when we open our doors—and our hearts—to new possibilities.

This book is a nice gentle read, that keeps the reader engaged throughout. It’s told from 3 POV, yet is written in such a way that you don’t get mixed up, or lose the flow of the story. I would say this is a book that suits all ages, with a different character resonating with different readers. There is a guaranteed HEA, but it’s not without its bumps to get there. Overall a delightful read and perfect for reading in the garden on a sunny day

This book was an absolute delight from start to finish! The Wisteria Crescent Chronicles is the kind of cosy, heartwarming read that makes you want to curl up with a cup of tea and escape into the charming streets of Bath alongside its wonderfully endearing characters.
At its core, this is a story about unexpected friendships and new beginnings and what unfolds is a beautiful, multi-generational tale of resilience, support, and the kind of friendships that feel like a warm hug.
Each character is beautifully crafted—layered, and so easy to root for. I found myself emotionally invested in their lives, feeling their highs and lows. Their struggles were handled with so much warmth and depth. And Bath? The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Forster brings the city to life with such vivid descriptions that you can almost feel the cobbled streets beneath your feet and smell the wisteria in bloom.
It’s full of charm, humour, and so much heart. If you’re a fan of uplifting stories about strong women, found family, and the simple joys of life, The Wisteria Crescent Chronicles is a must-read.

I loved the Wisteria Crescent Chronicles and its story of 3 women overcoming their difficulties while nurturing new friendships. When Marion decides to rent out rooms in her beautiful Georgian house in Bath it is the turning point in the lives of 3 women and their stories are beautifully told by Kate Forster. I couldn’t put it down and would recommend The Wisteria Crescent Chronicles as it is charming and joyful and full of hope.
