I adore a Heidi swain book, the characters are well crafted, the story is thoughtfully executed and there’s something warming about starting a new one. As ever I was engaged and drawn in by this one. Delightful

Thank you for allowing me to read and review.
I always look forward to a visit to Wymouth, catching u with all the characters old and new.
Heidi Swain Always draws you in to her books making them Hard to put down, this certainly didn't disappoint.
Another great summer read from Heidi Swain.

Set back in Wynbridge with characters new and old. The main character Daisy arrives back in Wynmouth after yet another failed job and without her partner, much to the dismay of her parents. She reconnects with friends, tries to find a job she actually wants to do and keeps bumping into Josh , an American visitor there for the summer but with his own story. This book is mainly based around their stories , along with a fantastic supporting cast. A standalone book , definitely! But also part of a wonderful series.
The perfect summer read, pure escapism and a book I would highly recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Heidi Swain and Simon & Schuster for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Love a new Heidi Swain book this time we are off to Wynmouth where Daisy is returning home having broken up with her boyfriend and lost her job she returns home determined to put the past behind her. Determined to have a summer of fun she finds herself a job and a new friend but can she find happiness back home with her family and friends

This was a delightful read, perfect for summer holiday reading. The story builds and builds. I enjoyed the subplot romance of Penny and Max and the circumstances of how they finally came to be together.
The plot twists with Josh and Daisy kept me hooked as you could see from the start they were drawn to each other and were much more than a summer fling. Learning about Josh and his family was interesting and it really made me happy that he wasn’t like his father, the family he chose to be with love and care for him so much more.
Some amazing descriptions of the estate gardens and flowers, as well as lots of summer beach scenes with plenty of sea swimming. You really can’t go wrong.

First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

It has always been a pleasure to read a book by Heidi Swain and to return to Wynbrook is an added bonus.
That said, I really struggled with some of the characters, especially Daisy. For the first half of the book I found her shallow, selfish and insincere and also very immature.
However, she did eventually grow on me or maybe she just grew up!
This is a perfect summer read.

This was a really fun Summer read with great romance and character development. The only flaw I had was the dialogue between the characters were extremely harsh at times, it made me dislike a few characters and spoilt my reading experience out of frustration.

As always brilliant character building from Heidi Swain, great to be back in the village again. Thank you netgalley for the advanced copy

Another fabulous book from Heidi.
There's nothing I love more than being back in Wynmouth and meeting more new amazing characters.
It was good to get to know Daisy, Josh and all their friends and learn their back stories, but even better to see how they all found their places throughout this book.

Ah, how lovely to be back in Wynmouth. Simply put, everything about this book is 'just right'. The right amount of romance, conflict, wonderful settings, just a perfect summer read!

I’m always so excited to read a new Heidi Swain book and this one did not disappoint. Following the wonderful character Daisy in this pure escapism read which kept me hooked from start to finish. Another first class read from this author.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC in return for an honest review.

You know when you pick up the latest book from this author that you’re in for a treat and my goodness this book did not disappoint. Heidi Swain just gets better and better!
I loved the main character Daisy and I enjoyed following her story.
The location as always was perfect! So so easy to imagine and you definitely wish you where there.

This book took me awhile to get into. I've enjoyed other books by Heidi Swain, but there was something 'off' about this one. For awhile I thought about giving up, but I hate not to finish a book, so I persevered. I'd say it improved a bit when we learnt about what had held Daisy back all those years ago. Prior to that she had come across as immature. She wanted her parents to treat her like an adult, yet she didn't behave like one. I didn't like her parents much either, and her best friend Penny wasn't very nice either. The other characters in it, including Josh and Ben, were likeable (apart from Daisy's ex and Josh's father). Loved the garden setting, loved the beach element, and also little Luna's antics. When Daisy's relationship with her parents improved, the story improved. Overall though, I say it was lacking the sparkle of Swain's festive novels. With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I adore a Heidi Swain book and wasn’t disappointed by the latest offering set in Wynmouth.
Daisy has returned home after a messy break up and has always felt a disappointment to her parents .
Daisy is trying to find her way and adjust back to life with her parents .
However Daisy’s luck is about to change with meeting Josh . Will it be her best summer ever?
A beautiful book set by the sea . A perfect summer read.

What a totally lovely character Daisy is. She has such a big heart and is always happy to help out her friends.
She is perhaps initially lacking some direction on her life, but returning to Wynbridge Manor and the family home, after a break up, may just be the best thing for her.
Especially when she keeps bumping into Josh.
There are loads of wonderful characters in this book, that has a multitude of sub plots within its pages.
So much is going on, but yet its easy o follow. It's another joyous book from one of my favourite authors.
I read this really quickly and already am looking forward to Heidi Swain's next book too as this was so enjoyable, I clearly need more of her words!
Thank you to Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

A very English summer novel. Brilliant holiday read, with a bit of substance to it. I loved the theme of an old English estate bringing itself up to date with new ventures and a younger generation along the beautiful Norfolk coast. The romance is just right too.

Heidi Swain is an aut0-buy Author for me so I was thrilled to be given an early e-arc for her latest book. I was very excited to be back in the lovely coastal village of Wynmouth, having last visited in Christmas 2021. This latest book had all of the elements that I love about Heidi's books; a beautiful setting, loveable characters, a strong community feel, and of course a heart-warming Romance.
I really connected with Daisy, who at the age of 28 feels like she hasn't quite figured out where she wants to be in life. She can't seem to stick at anything, having dropped out of university and rinses through various jobs, unable to settle. After walking away from her relationship with her cheating boyfriend, she's left with little choice but to return home to her parents with her tail between her legs. It's alluded to that Daisy hasn't always seen eye to eye with her parents, particularly her dad, so it's not easy for her to lose her independence and become reliant on them again.
I really enjoyed Daisy and Josh's Romance, there's an undeniable spark between the two of them that had me smiling throughout the book, their easy-going and carefree banter was an absolute joy, and the circumstances of their meeting were hilarious. Josh has his own secrets however and they threaten to derail their budding Romance when they come to light. Daisy has already avoided a broken heart once this summer, and doesn't want to risk it happening again so soon, so she's understandably cautious.
Algy was a standout character for me, especially as he has such a lovely bond with Daisy, who has always seen him as a Grandfather figure having grown up in the shadow of the Manor. There's something going on with Algy that Daisy is very keen to get to the bottom of as she's struggling with seeing him so down in the dumps, as he's always seemed so exuberant before.
I thoroughly enjoyed my latest trip to Wynmouth, the setting is idyllic and I wish it was a real place that I could visit. I'd love to visit Wynbrook Manor, pick some fresh fruit at the fruit farm, buy some freshly cut flowers from the walled garden and finally have a cup of tea with the lovely Algy. I'll have to content myself with visiting through the pages though, and hope that will be soon.

I love, love, love Heidi Swain’s books. They are feel good stories set in idyllic locations; I was absolutely dreaming of summer on the north Norfolk coast. The characters are so well written with just a touch of jeopardy that has you rooting for them the whole time. I loved the addition of the cut flower garden as there isn’t anything else that represents a British summer better.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my advanced copy to review. All opinions are my own.
I do love a Heidi Swain book so when I got the opportunity to read an advance copy of this one I jumped at the chance.
It is lovely to be back in Wynmouth again, this time in the company of Daisy who has recently moved home after splitting up with her boyfriend. Daisy has had a complicated relationship with her parents and I did feel for her.
When she meets Josh, I felt they would be a good together but I did feel he was holding something back which made me wary. My suspicion was confirmed with the little twist in the story.
I love the way Heidi writes and she always has such good, relatable and down to earth characters and I did like most of them.
I loved the family dynamics and friendships which made this a heartwarming read and is one I would definitely recommend.
