🌟A Sky Full Of Stars🌟
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“I never thought I'd fall in love with someone as special as you.”
This is an arc review and this book releases March 18th.
This small village, contemporary romance follows Charlotte who is an astronomical archivist who prefers having her head in the stars than her feet on the ground. She moves to an idyllic Somerset village to archive an old observatory before its demolition. Her goal is to preserve the treasures of this remarkable place and enjoy another summer without settling down. Tristan is managing the development of Observatory Field and wants the observatory demolished due to painful memories associated with it. As Charlotte works on unraveling the mysteries of the observatory's past, she discovers more about Tristan and the village than she initially expected.
This was such a heart warming, feel good romance, it had a dash of history, just enough mystery and plenty of brilliant characters. I love a small village romance and this really hit a spot for me especially as a Bristolian, so I was getting really excited at the Bristol scenes and thinking IVE BEEN THERE! I will be recommending to friends and family members for an easy light read and will reach for other titles by this author in future.

I was drawn to this book by the front cover and it didn't disappont. It is well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters that I loved. I really enjoyed it. The storyline was engaging and really pulls you in, Love love love!

This was a really heartwarming book, with lots of interesting twists and turns in the backstory. I thoroughly recommend this book.

This is a heartwarming contemporary romance set in the English countryside. Charlotte James, an astronomical archivist, takes on a summer job cataloging an old observatory’s contents before its demolition. She meets Tristan Ashcombe, who is overseeing the site’s redevelopment and has personal reasons for wanting the observatory gone. As Charlotte uncovers hidden secrets about the observatory and its past, she and Tristan grow closer, challenging their initial perceptions. The novel blends romance, mystery, and self-discovery, offering an uplifting story about love, community, and new beginnings.

This book started off with a strong premise and a lot of potential. I binged the 1st 60% of the book in a day. But after that it went downhill. The story slowed down to a CRAWL and was such a chore to finish.
The chemistry between the two main characters never clicked for me and their story seemed too rushed. The writing was also too descriptive at times for my taste (I don't need to know every organic and artesian product on the grocery store shelves.)
The book did have a cozy feel and a slight air of mystery which helped me push through the last 40% of the book.
I received a free arc of the book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

I so wanted to love this book! The premise was great and the characters held so much promise! Unfortunately for me, the pacing was slow, and I felt bogged down by too many extraneous details. DNF for me, but someone else may feel differently!

Another beautiful read from Faye Keenan. It was more of a slower start than some of her other books but it still was a lovely read.
I'm a huge fan of stargazing and I could picture the setting for this book and it was idyllic. Faye has a clever talent of making you feel like you are in the pages and I love that about her writing.
Can't wait for the next instalment from Faye.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a gentle and easy to read story with mostly appealing characters. The slow burn romance between Tristan and Charlotte was believable as the two characters trod carefully not wanting to be hurt as they had in the past. Tristan especially had a very troubled past and seemed to have some unresolved mental health issues. The arrival of Charlotte to archive materials from an old observatory before it's demolition brought to light an hitherto unacknowledged mystery for one family. Mystery, humour, romance and a cute spaniel made this an enjoyable read. My thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this latest novel by Fay, thank you so much to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me read an advance copy. Really interesting storyline ,very well written with a great cast of characters , written very descriptively too which was lovely. Great read, highly recommended.

I love Faye’s books and couldn’t wait for this one and whilst it was beautifully written as always with an amazing setting and brilliant cast of characters it didn’t quite hit the mark. Charlotte and Tristan make brilliant romantic leads with plenty of angst and a bucketful of chemistry to keep you invested in their story but the background story of the circumstances surrounding his parents death was a bit of an anti climax. All in all it was an enjoyable and worthwhile read and I would recommend for fans of cosy romantic escapism who enjoy idyllic countryside settings.

This book has an interesting and different premise with one of the main characters, Charlotte is an astronomical archivist associated with a university in Bristol in England. She is on a summer assignment to archive the records of an observatory before it is torn down to build a housing community in Lower Brambleton and is staying as a lodger in the annex of an older lady's home. Lorelai and her adult twin grands have a connection to the observatory and Charlotte gets pulled into their family dynamics.. This story was slow going at the beginning but does have some mystery and secrets that were interesting to unravel. Small village life and romance add to the story.
I received a copy for the purpose of an honest review. These are my thoughts.

Splendid story with a taste of love under the stars. University astronomy archivist, Charlotte, receives a paid summer job to archive the papers in an out of commission and falling to disrepair observatory. She lodges with a woman whose family owned the property. Along the way, she meets the woman’s grandson who is in control of the land development company that is tearing down the observatory. Falling for each other was written in the stars. When Charlotte discovers papers of value that bring shockwaves to the family. Slow reading at times. A very enjoyable novel.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This one sounded like such a sweet read, but unfortunately it felt short. The pacing was just too slow for me, and the romance did not feel authentic. The chemistry between the two main characters felt forced, and I was not a fan of lying by omission.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in return for an honest review.

A slow-burn read, probably a bit too slow. I liked the characters but the storyline didn't quite hit the mark

A gorgeous book which has a bit of everything you want from this genre - romance, humour, a quirky setting, an unusual occupation with plenty of details so you actually can follow what is going on, and a touch of pathos, too. Fay Keenan knows how to write in such a way that the romance is a big part of the story without being sappy, disempowering or incredible.

This is a slow-burn, healing romance between two wounded people. It is set in Somerset, a beautiful part of England, and part of the events take place at and around a derelict observatory that is connected with a tragic past event.
I liked the characters, down to the dog Comet. :) As for the astronomical details, I sometimes found them a bit too much and couldn't always follow them, but there might be readers who are more knowledgable than me and enjoy them.
I can recommend this book to everyone who likes sweet, slow-burn romance.

This was an ok read for me. It was a slow read and a lot of stuff to do with astronomy which if your interested in then you might enjoy. I was looking forward to reading an easy romance book but was a bit disappointed.
Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book, all opinions expressed are my own.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me the privilege of being able to read this book.
I enjoyed this book, the characters were real, and endearing. This was a decent story, there were a few timeline issues that should have been caught. Sometimes the main character felt like she should be the smartest person because of all of her knowledge but a lot of the time she didn't. She always seemed to need to be directly told something instead of literally hearing it already being said. That was honestly kind of annoying. I didn't like going back and forth double checking that a character had actually already said the important thing that should have been obvious to the main character, when they turned around and actually directly said it. It pulled away from the story a lot. Other than that this was a good story, and I really loved the justice some individuals got in the end and the ending. It was honestly a perfect ending and I've really missed having a book like this with a perfect ending.
Thank you very much from the bottom of heart again for allowing me to be able to read this book!

Fay Keenan never disappoints in her ability, every time, to come up with an uplifting, comforting and, really, what can only be described as a gorgeously satisfying read.
I’ve just come back from a week in the sunshine of Egypt, accompanied by several books and a desire to get away from it all. I was certainly able to do that with Fay Keenan’s latest offering. I’ve been a fan of Fay’s writing for many years now and every time I start reading a new one, I think it can’t be better than any of the previous. But to me, this one most certainly was. She writes so well, taking us to different places. From my beach bed in a hot Africa, I truly believed I was in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
What a treat to be in Somerset and with a new protagonist in Charlotte whose work as an astronomical archivist absolutely fascinated me. Keenan has obviously spent time doing her research on this area of work and this profession! I enjoyed the romance between Charlotte and Tristan – there was an almost going back in time aspect to how the relationship grew.
Beautifully written as always, gentle in places, but never disappointing.
I can really see this story made into a lovely film, set in the beautiful rural English village in Somerset!
Five stars from me for this lovely book!

The book was trying too hard to please me. It wasn't for me, I struggled to finish it. The words were confusing and long. The characters didn't make any sense. I'm really displeased with this book.
