I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest and voluntary review.
This was a very intriguing story, which I didn’t want to end. I was pulled in from the start and never let go till the end. This was a fast paced, edge of your seat, read. Is there going to be a sequel because if there is I would read it.

This book was just OK for me.
The thriller plot was interesting with the stolen art during WWII and how the Western protagonists against the Nazi antagonists, but it really did not get moving and pull me in until I was already halfway through the story. I realize this is the first book in aproposed series, but it had too much set-up to keep me engaged. It was also quite a stretch in a few places for me to believe certain things could or would happen the way they did.
I also did not relate to main characters. Rich, privileged, and at times caricatures. I never cared about them. They were just names moving through the plot.
Interesting places throughout Europe and fast moving in the second half of the story, but not enough for me to want more.
