What a sweet story! A great gateway for kids into graphic novels. The designs are adorable and the story is great for any kid

I want to say thank you to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for all allowing me and my children the privilege of being able to read this book.

This was my kids very first experience with Weenie (featuring Frank and Beans) and as it turns out as I went to write my review their first time reading a book by an author who's recently become one of my favourites! I've read and devoured the first two books of the fractured kingdom series by M.L. Fergus who is none other than this amazing woman Maureen Fergus. You have no idea my delight at the fact that she can apparently write for elevery age group!

I let my 8 and 10 year olds share read this e-arc well I sat with them (well before I even realized who the author was) and they loved it! My 8 year old is not a big reader at all he's a little behind other kids his age and has only gotten slightly into reading with Dogman. So I requested this book because it looked like a fun graphic novel of about the same caliber and that he might be able to read it too! And he did! He took turns with his brother read it and they loved it! They laughed so hard at this book. Well I referenced Dogman this is soo not Dogman at all and I am so grateful for that!

This is a well written book even though it's a graphic novel (my oldest has read loads and some are not that great), it is hilarious! I was laughing along with them well they read, and my husband in the next room was too. What I love the most is that my kids loved this book and there's zero potty humor in it at all! That is such a relief to me! I will let them read just about anything, but anymore well they're laughing well reading its a potty joke from the book, that they than repeat all the time... They were referencing parts of this book all night and I even caught myself doing it too! This is fun for the whole family! It is so down right silly but it's so wholesome! It's also great at reminding kids right from wrong. My oldest son also really loved that the animals can be understood by the humans too!

So thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for allowing me and my children to enjoy this book so much! We can't wait until we bring it and the others home to us, and once they're through them all we can't wait for more! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for also giving my youngest his second series of books to love!

I tried to love this book. I was drawn to it by the illustrations and the title. The format of the digital copy I had did not help my enjoyment. Would kids like it? Probably. Did I miss something? Maybe. Would I read it to kids or buy for kids? No. Stars rounded up for illustrations.

This is my first adventure with Weenie, Frank, and Beans, but it definitely won’t be my last! This book is absolutely hilarious, and the characters are so lovable. My kids were giggling the entire time we read it together.

Weenie—the world's most adorable wiener dog—suddenly finds himself in competition for that title when Sweetie Pie arrives and steals the spotlight. Determined to reclaim his place, Weenie, with the help of Frank and Beans, comes up with a series of outrageously ridiculous plans to get rid of Sweetie Pie… without getting caught.

This story is pure fun, full of laugh-out-loud moments. I can’t recommend this book enough!

Thank you NetGalley and Tundra Book Group for the ARC copy of this children's graphic novel. My kids and I all read this individually and we loved it! The characters kept us laughing and my 8 year old couldn't stop saying "Mom, look what Weenie is doing now!"
In the words of my 8 year old:
"This is the type of book that I would love to read over and over again.
I found it easy to read but not so easy that I was bored (the level was perfect). I was laughing the whole time reading it, Weenie is my favourite character. I wasn't a huge fan of the beginning when Weenie was asking the reader, "Do you like surprises?", I prefer when the story starts right away. My favourite part was the picture of Bob's heart and how much space Weenie takes up in it."

Had me and my kids laughing at bed time. I have a 5 and 7 year old girls and they absolutely loved this comic. The animation was spot on, the fact expressions and little side mentions were my favorite. 10/10 recommend!

Thank you for the ARC. Cute children’s book for young children who enjoy giggling at pet humor. A book about friends and friendship. Light hearted humor. One star left off since the author didn’t finish the lesson that could’ve been taught to children - always tell the truth especially to your parents.

The illustrations in this book were very cute and I enjoyed reading it. It was a little difficult to read on kindle due to the formatting issues. This book would be great for children!

Not-So-Sweetie Pie is about Weenie, a dog who was living his best life with his friends Frank and Beans. That's up until another wiener dog enters the picturing vying for the position of favorite wiener dog! What will he do? It turns out that what he will do is make a lot of questionable choices. My 8 year old thought it was hilarious, but we did have a conversation after about which choices in the story were not kind or well thought out.

The format on the kindle was hard to follow but I still enjoyed the pictures and the story that I was able to grasp

This graphic novel is about the adventures of Frank (the cat), Beans (a guinea pig) and Weenie the dog. Most of the adventures are around Sweetie Pie, the most adorable Wiener dog, who is visiting. Unfortunately, Weenie feels very threatened by this adorable dog and tries to get rid of her. Luckily, it all turns out in the end.

A funny series that I can see children loving. I love that is just right for a beginning graphic novel reader, with only 6 short chapters.

This was so very funny. Sweetie Pie is definitely the favorite, but also the one who keeps getting in trouble. I love reading this little adventures. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

Frank and Beans: Not-So-Sweetie Pie is a charming and funny story with lovable characters and plenty of heart. A delightful read with great humor and warmth. 4 stars.
