Wow, I ended up enjoying this much more than the first two books! Cole and Ginger have great chemistry and this did not feel cringey like the first two books - there's so much tension between them, and I loved the storyline of Vegas and nannying, it was so much fun. I really appreciated the relationship we saw grow between Ginger and Mabel, and how that helped the romantic relationship between Ginger and Cole to blossom. I truly think this is the author's best work yet, and I'm excited to see how the next book turns out!

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

When I tell you I needed this book like I needed air to breathe, I might be being a tad dramatic but Cole and Gingers book is one I've been excited to read since the very first book and it did not dissapoint.

Cole my sweet law daddy baby. This man has my whole heart and not because he's charming and funny and cares so much but because of how he is with his daughter. I adore their relationship so much, it's one of my favourite parts of this book until we see Ginger and Mabels relationship. Their relationship is so special, I enjoyed watching it all unfold.

Ginger, this woman is sass in cowboy boots. She speaks her mind and is no nonsense but underneath it all she wants the guy that she's unknowingly loved since she was a teenager and she finally gets him. Admittedly after a lot of alcohol, a secret vegas wedding but she got there.

I'm typically not a fan of friends to lovers but I enjoyed this. I think it's because we didn't go into this series with them knowingly being friends but iI did enjoy seeing the little flashbacks to their friendship throughout the years.

I'm just waiting on Olivia and Asher's (I hope it's Asher) book now and I'll be one happy girlie!

Single dad Cole and free spirit Ginger. This story gives cowboy romance, friends to lovers, forced proximity and found family and I absolutely adore both them and their story.

If youโ€™ve read the previous two silver pines books youโ€™ll know Cole and Ginger have always had this great chemistry. Paisley Hope gives us insights into their pasts and how they really began. From a pretty close friendship to becoming the sweetest family unit and the best team with Mabel (Coleโ€™s 8 year old daughter).

As always with Paisley Hope, the writing is amazing, the plot was good and the spice was SPICEY๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

An amazing feel good read, 5โญ๏ธ

I quite enjoyed this read for a multitude of reasons, but mainly because it was quite easy to delve into. The narrative was easy to follow, I wanted to know how the characters were going to progress and it spurred me to keep reading. I liked the characterisation, especially Cole. I felt like I had quite warmed to him and I was rooting for him the whole way.

Overall, not my favourite romance ever but it was most definitely enjoyable!

Book 3 in the Silver Pines Ranch series following Cole and Ginger.

These two have always had something between them and they've always been there for each other but neither of them have ever admitted to each other how they feel. The closest they've ever come is a heated kiss in Cole's truck (which he cut short) right before he went to work on another ranch for the summer and they didn't speak the whole time, leading Ginger to think she'd made a terrible mistake and lead to the two of them dancing around each other for the next several years.

Now, it's becoming harder and harder for them to deny their attraction to one another or they way they feel and things come to a head while they're in Las Vegas celebrating Nash and Cece's bachelor/bachelorette parties. Drunk and letting loose, they get married and spend an incredible night together before reality sneaks in the next morning and they realise the gravity of what they've done, thankfully, they're so close as friends they both take it in stride and work together to figure out a solution.

That solution is Ginger moving in with Cole and his daughter Mabel, to be her nanny for the summer. Of course being under one roof playing house is not going to stop the chemistry between them and when Cole faces losing both Ginger and Mabel during a freak storm, he's done pretending he doesn't have feelings for her and lets go.

Both Cole and Ginger are great characters and they were clearly destined to be together but it felt like there was something lacking in the story. I don't know if it was to do with them as characters or that none of the obstacles they faced felt complete. There were two occasions in the book where I thought we might be heading for a third act break up (which I'm pleased didn't happen) but I feel like after the first half of the book being all will they/won't they that they could have been fleshed out a little more.

The spice was hot, but not as hot as book two (I can't speak for book one - I haven't read it yet). When I read the TW page I thought we were going to be in for some super spicy scenes but these never really played out so I was a little disappointed lol.

Thanks to NetGalley and Penguin for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Iโ€™ve been a Paisley Hope fan since Holding The Reins and I was so excited to read the third book in the Silver Pines Series, Riding The High. Cole and Gingers story was everything Iโ€™d hope it would be. Steamy friends to lovers with a sweet tender twist when you learn about their history. Roll on Book 4โ€ฆ,I canโ€™t wait! I donโ€™t want this series to end

Man I really enjoyed this book. It had the perfect mix of banter as well as a little bit of longing and filled with delicious tension and spice. Cole and Ginger are truly meant to be and this might be my favourite book in the series!

Love love love this book , gave me all the feels , I canโ€™t wait for the next one, I loved the characters and the banter , I enjoyed everything about this book

I did not enjoy this book as much as i wanted to. I feel like there was no real connection past sex for the characters which made it a bit underwheling. It wasn't a bad book but i had higher expectations based on the other books

Every single book in this series has me even more obsessed than the one before+ this one might be my favourite yet. A single dad romance with a secret friendship+ accidental marriage? I had no chance๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

This book was sweet, spicy, funny + wholesome as hell. I was so happy to finally see Ginger and Cole get their HEA after all the banter + teasing we see perfectly setting them up in the first two books. The way they finally gave in to their feelings for one another after SO long being there for one another in the background was FLAWLESS+ the chemistry and banter between them was so authentic. And the throwbacks in timeline? Absolutely perfect for highlighting that intense pining + tension between them that had been building for so many years.

The single dad trope just absolutely melts me every time. The little everyday moments where Cole watches Ginger with his little girl got me so hard in the feels & Mabel and Gingerโ€™s connection was so precious.

Iโ€™m just obsessed with this friendship group and the found family element. It truly is one of the best aspects of this series. Ginger was for sure one of my favourite FMCs: her sass, authenticity and confidence made her such a fun character & Cole was protective, swoony and caring as hell.

I highly recommend picking up these books if youโ€™re looking for a small town, spicy romance series with the ultimate girl gang! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

I love this series and this instalment was no different. Lovely to revisit our previous couples and see how theyโ€™re getting on, whilst also getting lost in another ranch romance. A great holiday read, highly recommended.

Spicy romance set on an a ranch. Ginger (a teacher) and Cole (a ranch owner) have always fancied each other since high school and have met on numerous occasions as their families socialise.
Cole has a daughter Mabel, and needs childcare in the summer so asks Ginger to help and move into his annex.
Will they keep hands off each other? Of course not

Riding the High was an enjoyable read. It is/has:
โ€ข F/M friends-to-lovers romance
โ€ข Accidental marriage (Vegas)
โ€ข Forbidden element (best friendโ€™s brother)
โ€ข Cowboy romance adjacent (MMC isnโ€™t a cowboy but his family have a ranch)
โ€ข Dual POV
โ€ข Interconnected standalone, third book in Silver Pines series.
Overall, I am finding this series very consistent. Riding the High, like the previous books, is a romance focused story, which moves quite quickly (in part due to the short chapters). And once again we have a romance that also focuses on its spice elements.
I was looking forward to Cole and Gingerโ€™s story, the previous books had hinted a push/pull tension between them. Riding the High gave us their history as well as the scenario for this story, i.e. hiding their accidental marriage so it has minimal impact to those around them. It contains many things I enjoy, a single parent MC, friends-to-lovers relationship progression, and an accidental Vegas marriage. These coupled with Ginger moving into a nanny-style role for the summer, felt like a lot of my trope boxes were ticked.
I have always enjoyed the Ashby family in this series, and this didnโ€™t disappoint either! I particularly liked the text exchanges between Cole his brothers.
However, I felt there were a few little issues for me, which stopped me rating this higher; the pace of the story slowed as our main relationship obstacle was revealed towards the close of the book, which then felt underdeveloped, and resolved too easily and fast for me. Plus, I ended up feeling a little indifferent to some of our previous characters, which although good for focusing my attention on our current couple was an interesting feeling to have.
If you are a fan of Elsie Silver (either her Chestnut Springs or Gold Rush Ranch series) or Lyla Sageโ€™s books, and youโ€™ve not started the Silver Pines series then you will want to add this to your TBR.

What an incredible feeling to be back on Silver Pines Ranch for Cole & Gingerโ€™s stunning love story.

This book is chock full of some of my favourite tropes, and with an amazingly free-spirited and feisty FMC like Ginger, you best believe I ate this one up and left no crumbs!!

Cole and Gingerโ€™s relationship was teased during the first 2 books in this series, and it did not disappoint - I absolutely loved them!

Their flirty banter was top-tier, but what really sealed the deal for me was their secret friendship, which they both valued so much, and which formed a solid foundation for their romantic relationship.

I had an impression of Ginger from the first 2 books, and those character traits were consistent in this book, but we were also introduced to so many layers of her character. She formed such a sweet bond with Coleโ€™s daughter, Mabel. She just really wanted the best for everyone she loved, and I adored her as a loyal and sassy FMC.

Cole was everything I hoped he would be. Hot single daddy, small town sheriff with a dirty mouth? Say less!! The spice was delicious, and as always with Paisley, Ginger gets her boss moments in the bedroom that Iโ€™ve come to expect from these Silver Pines ladies! ๐Ÿ˜

One of my favourite things in Paisleyโ€™s stories is the representation of women and female relationships. I loved this so much. The female relationships in the book are to-die-for.

There is nothing I didnโ€™t enjoy in Riding the High! It was such a good small town, modern romance. Epic banter, sizzling chemistry, legendary side characters and the perfect balance of plot and spice. Loved, loved, LOVED it!

Law daddy. Yes please. Book 3 in this series and once again I absolutely loved both the main characters! Parts of this were super spicy but there was such a good storyline to support it, just worked perfectly!

First of all, because I absolutely adored the first two books which I was so lucky to receive from NetGalley, I knew instantly I'd love this book. It was incredible to be able to speak with Paisley's team to ensure I received a copy, despite already having it on preorder. What can I say, this spice? Incredible! The banter? Absolutely hilarious and had me in hysterics at points. There was so many moments which had me kicking my feet and giggling, whist also hot and flushed. I would highly recommend this book and thank you so much for allowing me to have an ARC of this book ๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™ve been waiting for ginger and coles book since holding the reins !!!

I love me a single dad romance theyโ€™re some of my favourites and this book was no different. I loved cole & mabels relationship and watching ginger & mabel become closer than before was so cute !!!
โ€˜daddys girlsโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

But for some reason I didnโ€™t get the same vibes from this book than I did with the others. I donโ€™t know what it was but something just didnโ€™t click with the couple even though the chemistry in the other books was so good between them it felt like it lacked in this one. The beginning was promising with the flashbacks of their friendship but it felt as though it was lust and I love me some smut but it stuck out that thatโ€™s what cole was thinking about all the time (i might be wrong but thatโ€™s what stuck out in my head).

The spice was really good but I just wanted to see them fall in love and make me feel how the other books did but it just fell flat.

BUT this was still a good book I think I went in with too high expectations because I loved Cole and Ginger in all other books so much. I would still 100% recommend though.

Cole and Ginger have been friends for forever. They have always been attracted to each other so when they drunkenly get married in Vegas, they wonder if friends is all they want to be.

I wanted to like this so much more. I'm not sure if my book preferences are changing, but it felt like things moved too fast and once the spice hit, it overpowered the plot. I wanted more depth from the characters. I needed angst and emotions. Their relationship at times felt very lust driven. There was too much discussion about past hook ups for my liking.

I did appreciate that there was no third act break up. I also enjoyed Ginger's relationship with Cole's daughter, Mabel. Mabel was a cute kid and brought out some good sides of Ginger and Cole. Seeing more of the characters from the previous books was great too.

Overall, I just need more. I liked it, but unfortunately I didn't love it.
