Ugh, I absolutely adored this book! I knew that I loved this series, but this book totally confirmed this again. - 5 STARS!
I knew I had to read about Cole and Ginger, because you could feel the chemistry between them already, and I was not disappointed - the chemistry was definitely there!!! ๐Ÿ”ฅI was giggling and kicking my feet when Cole called her "Mrs. Ashby" after a drunken night out, when they got married!!
Mabel was the cutest little girl and the relationship she formed with Ginger was just heartwarming. Cole being the town sheriff was quite hot, and Ginger? I want to be her ;)
The scene at Nash and Ceces charity hockey game in the end? Made me cry a little, that was so romantic. <3
Can't wait for the next book(s) in the series!

I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone, especially those you loved Heartless by Elsie Silver as it was giving me some of the same vibes!

All the stars!

This is absolutely my new favorite Paisley book. I knew from when I first ARC read indie published Holding the Reins, that I was going to be in love with Cole and Gingerโ€™s story, but I think it even exceeded my expectations which were already so high!

The banter we got between them in the first two books led up to a drunk game of truth or daily that resulted in the married in Vegas, and the PERFECT story! On top of that, single dad is my all time favorite trope and Paisley wrote this beautifully!

Ginger is such a free spirit and I love the connection she already had with Mabel and that blossomed as she took care of her all summer. And of course the relationship with Coleman and his daughter. I loved the background we got on Cole and Gingerโ€™s relationship/friendship. It was just so freaking special!

This book had SO MUCH story and it had me laughing, sweating and crying. The book also had IMPECCABLE spice. I mean SHE handcuffed HIM to the bed with his own handcuffs?! Say less! I canโ€™t wait to revisit this story and Iโ€™m excited to see where Paisley takes Silver Pines next!

Thank you so much to Paisley and Random House UK for the eARC and Dell for the physical ARC copy!

Synopsis
Cole Ashby has spent his life building stability for his daughter Mabel, while Ginger Danforth has spent hers trapped by expectations. A reckless bachelor and bachelorette weekend in Vegas leaves them bound together by a marriage neither saw comingโ€”but one they both suddenly need. To protect their futures (his job and her dadโ€™s re-election), they agree to keep up the act until the dust settles. Yet, as their forced proximity ignites something undeniable, the risks of staying married begin to outweigh the risks of walking away. What happens when a spontaneous mistake turns into the best thing either of them never saw coming?

My Thoughts
This is the third book in the Silver Pines Ranch series. While it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with the first two books. Not only will this give you a deeper connection to the other characters, but it will also help you avoid any potential spoilers. Out of all three books, this one is my favorite!

The story follows Cole Ashby, a devoted single dad who wants nothing more than to build a stable life for his daughter, and Ginger Danforth, the bold and spirited daughter of a Kentucky congressman who is eager to break free from the expectations placed upon her. When a wild weekend in Vegas leads to an unexpected marriage, the two strike a deal, stay secretly wed until Cole secures his position as sheriff and Gingerโ€™s father wins re-election. It seems like a simple arrangement, but as they spend more time together, their undeniable chemistry makes it harder to remember that their marriage was supposed to be temporary.

I absolutely loved the push-and-pull dynamic between Ginger and Cole. Gingerโ€™s sass and strong personality made her such a fun character, but deep down, sheโ€™s a true people-pleaser, especially when it comes to family, who always puts others before herself. And Cole? Heโ€™s a walking green flag; steadfast, responsible, and always putting his daughter Mabel first. Their slow-burn romance was so well written, and I found myself completely immersed in their journey.

This book had everything I love heartfelt emotions, sizzling chemistry, and a romance that felt both real and swoon-worthy and amazing references to Brooklyn 99 such as the names of their dogs. I enjoyed every second of it and canโ€™t wait to read the next book featuring Hayden and Cassie in the Silver Pines Ranch series!

I received an e-ARC from NetGalley of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher Random House UK Cornerstone for allowing me to read this ARC.

Riding the High is the third installment in the Silver Pines series by Paisley Hope. Paisley has a way in making her characters so relatable that you canโ€™t help but find yourself emotionally attached to them as well as their story full of struggles and triumphs. You find yourself smiling, laughing, crying, kicking your feet joyful and sitting on the edge of your seat as you become invested even more in the beloved characters that she has introduced previously. She paints such a beautiful setting that you feel you are right there with them.

I loved everything about Cole and Gingerโ€™s story. The plot was so well paced and simultaneously blended romance and drama with humor throughout. The single dad relationship with his daughter, as well, was absolutely beautiful. This story is so much more than just an accidental marriage and I will be recommending to many.

As soon as I read "small town romance" and "cowboy," I knew I had to read this book. When you combine these two elements and add the "enemies to lovers" trope, it can only be a great read. Even though I haven't read the first two books in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed this third one. I loved Ginger's free-spirited and sunny personality; she is truly an independent woman, and I saw a lot of myself in her character. I can't help but mention Cole, a devoted father who lives by his routine and seems a bit gruff, but deep down, he has a tender side. The two of them together spark fireworks, not to mention that Vegas wedding, which was the cherry on top. At some points in the book, I wished there was more communication between them, but I adored all of their interactions. Now I'm off to read the other books in the series!

Thank you so much to Netgalley, Penguin and Paisley Hope for this special ARC๐Ÿฉต

I have been waiting for Gingers book since the beginning because her personality and fire just make for an insane character. Free spirited Ginger & Routine Cole are the epitome of connection. They have intimacy, banter and soooo much lust.

The friends to lovers element Iโ€™ve grown to absolutely love, and these two are friends who have so much care for eachother. Cole isnโ€™t just Ceceโ€™s brother, he is someone who Ginger can call in the night when she needs a favour, and vice versa, when Cole wants needs Ginger, she is a call away. Also Miss Paisley, I praise you for making favours sexy sexy๐Ÿฅต

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS BABY DEFINITELY DOES NOT STAY IN VEGAS!!! Especially when you drunkenly get married to your best friends brother who is your secret friend that youโ€™ve called favours in with for years. So how do you go around this? Well you make some rules, but these rules will forever be broken ๐Ÿคญ

Mabel and Ginger just bounce off eachother, their humour and relationship together is just brilliant. The two just bounce off eachother, and the way Mabel can depend on Ginger, made my heart burst with emotion.

The spicy was SPICING!!! Paisley Hope never fails to write spice that is absolutely unreal. Sheriff Cole Weston Ashby the praise kingggg, and a feral man. And Miss Ginger Lily Danforth the firecracker who makes Cole weak in the knees๐Ÿซ

Glad that we get to see how the rest of the family has developed also between the books. It gives a proper insight into all their lives and you feel like it really builds into the storyline. I love all the characters in this series, and they all are just one big family who adore and will do anything for eachother.

THIS WAS PERFECTION TO A TEEโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

Paisley Hope has kept up with the theme on this brilliant series, this book follows the path of Cole and Ginger and brings much hope, happiness and sex along the way of uncertainty and disruption.

Paisley hope has confirmed her place as one of my auto buy authors with this third instalment of Silver Pines Ranch series.
You donโ€™t really need to read the previous two books but you should just because how great the whole series is and you get glimpses of these two main characters in the previous two books.
I really enjoyed this forced proximity/ fake marriage / marriage of convenience. It created for some really sweet family moments and these characters were ultimate friendship goals to begin with but add in the romance and off the charts!

I received this book as an ARC and provide an honest review

This book was EVERYTHING! I was so excited to see it Ginger & Coleโ€™s story. Paisley writes the best romance stories, whether itโ€™s cowboy or a man in uniform.
The single dad trope, the connection between Mabel & Ginger, pulled on my heart strings so many times. I did find myself shedding a few tears throughout this book.
The build up of these characters was perfect. I wish we got a little extract of the Vegas wedding / night! i wanted all the nitty gritty details
Thank you for letting me read this ARC copy, I will still be getting the paperback trophy!

I was really anticipating this book, and I am so gutted to admit that it just didn't work for me. I do love Paisley Hope and her previous books are great - I will definitely be reading the next story in this series too. However, this just took a little too long for me to get into, and by the time I did I just wasn't that invested in Ginger and Cole's story. The spice, as always, was fab though!
I'm rating this 2.5 stars, but I've rounded it up to 3 stars here.

Thank you so much to Random House UK for the ARC via NetGalley and for giving me the opportunity to share my honest thoughts on this book.

My goodness. This has been my most highly anticipated read of the year so far and Paisley Hope does not disappoint, ever. I love Ginger and Cole so much. From Holding The Reins and Training The Heart, I just knew I was going to love their story. I love Nash and Cece and Wade and Ivy but Cole and Ginger and Mabel may have just stolen my heart. Absolutely obsessed, I could not put it down. Their banter has always been my favorite since the beginning. The ending and the epilogue just about did me in, talk about waterworks! I cannot wait to see whatโ€™s next for Silver Pines!

Thank you to NetGalley, Paisley Hope, and Random House for allowing me to read and give my feedback!

I have been waiting for this one! We love an โ€œenemiesโ€ to lovers trope.

This is the perfect follow on from CeCe and Wades stories in that the vibes are similar but the story is sufficient different to make the read enjoyable and not totally predictable.

She done it again and seems to have hinted to at least another one or two stories, I for one canโ€™t wait!

Riding the High (aka my soul book)

If youโ€™ve read the previous two books in the Silverpines series, then you, just the same as me have been DYING to get your greedy reading hands on Cole & Gingers story. If youโ€™ve not read any of them yet, well youโ€™re in for a treat.

After being friends for years, Cole and Gingerโ€™s (not that unexpected) drunken vegas marriage causes
problems for Cole as the newly appointed sheriff, and congressmanโ€™s daughter, Ginger.
Will their plan to pretend really work? Or will years of buried feelings win?

I was Laughing, smiling, crying, swooning and kicking my feet throughout. Iโ€™m not sure that I have words big enough to describe all the ways this book made me feel. But wow, did it make me feel. This is why I love reading.

I love this series. I love this book, and I love this couple with my entire soul. I will scream and shout about it forever, (buckle up). Itโ€™s comfort, family, warmth, itโ€™s a safe place. Itโ€™s fun, wholesome and fiery. It tackles real feelings and itโ€™s the perfect escape.

The love in this story was woven so clearly and beautifully in every page, I was utterly tangled within these pages and I never want to leave.
I adore Ginger & Cole as I knew I would, but my highlight was Gingers relationship with Mabel. THE sweetest, purest thing I ever did read. I could talk about them all forever.

Cole is hard working, dedicated to his daughter, family and job. Heโ€™s overprotective and jealous, (my favourite combination). Heโ€™s an all round green flag of a man. He listens and he seeโ€™s ginger, and I mean really seeโ€™s her.

Ginger is a strong, funny and caring powerhouse of a woman, friend, partner and daughter. I loved really seeing Ginger throughout this book, her vulnerable side was lovely and so relatable. Anyone would be lucky to have a Ginger on their side.

My favourite thing about Cole and Ginger - the way they always step up for one another no matter what, even before their marriage. Without condition.

Paisley Hope, the woman you are!! Thank you for creating this small town filled with a bar owner ex-hockey player, a grumpy cowboy rancher and sheriff Law Daddy, and all the strong, bad ass women. You are the coolest.

10/10, no notes. Except can I have more of Ginger & Cole? Can I have the next 2 books right now?? Pretty please!

I am so thankful to receive this arc!!

I adore a cowboy romance and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Cowboy/ sheriff, drunken marriage and close proximity. You donโ€™t just see Ginger fall in love with Cade but with Mabes as well.

Cade is so fiercely protective of his girls, he cares so deeply for both of them even if he does try to fight his feelings for Ginger.

This whole book had me falling in love with them as a couple and as a family. To top it all off Cade as a dad had me glued to this book.

I simply cannot get enough of Paisley Hope and Silver Pines AHHHH!! ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to NetGalley, Random House and Paisley for accepting me for this ARC - my first ever one. Iโ€™m beyond grateful and canโ€™t believe I got to read this early! ๐Ÿฅน

Right letโ€™s get into itโ€ฆ

After getting glimpses of Cole and Ginger in the first two books of the series I couldnโ€™t wait to get their story. Iโ€™ll admit that After Training the Heart I didnโ€™t think they could come close to how Wade and Ivy made me feelโ€ฆ but THIS. BOOK. SLAPPED. I absolutely adored both of them and I just donโ€™t think Paisley is capable of writing a bad character, they hit every single time! I laughed, I cried and I was definitely sweating on a fair few occasions ๐Ÿฅต

Ahhhh I loved it and I need more Silver Pines right now! I wonder whoโ€™s next ๐Ÿ‘€ Gingerโ€™s sister Cassie? Olivia and the guy that works with Nash? Who cares, if/when it drops Iโ€™m going to eat it up no matter what ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I am OBSESSED with this one. Paisley Hope is the next big thing in romance mark my words. This whole series has been great but this last one was just a step above. I have always had a soft spot for a good single dad romance but ugggghhhhh Law Daddy can GET IT
100000 stars no notes.

What a great read. This book is sexy, and full of friendship and cute six year old girls who want to make mud pies and wear pretty dresses. This book is full of hope, there is a bit of intrigue and a nasty ex wife, but also fabulous friends, and a wedding and birth which made the book fly by. The epilogue was a great last few chapters that just made the whole book work.

WOW PAISLEY HOPE DOES IT AGAIN. I knew Cole and Ginger's story was going to be a good one and this did not disappoint - incredibly steamy, but also heartwarming and with no major third act conflict (we love to see it). Gorgeously written as always and the perfect third instalment to the Silver Pines series. Absolutely fantastic!

This book was everything I hoped it would be! I have been anticipating Ginger and Coleโ€™s story after loving the previous two books in this series and this didnโ€™t disappoint!
Mable was an adorable character in the book and I loved watching gingers relationship with her blossom. As a step mum myself this was a highlight of the book for me.
What I love about Paisleys writing is how she manages to find the perfect balance between spice, plot and creating the most lovable characters. This series has been an absolute masterpiece.

Iโ€™ve been waiting for Cole and gingerโ€™s story since I started this series and it did not disappoint. It was fun, flirty, these two had great chemistry and sexual tension. Cole went from being a sweetheart to having a very dirty mouth. ginger gave it to him just as good with her sassy comebacks and teasing. I loved watching the relationship between ginger and Mabel blossom and the little team of 3 they created. I just adored being back in silver pines with the Ashby family and seeing all the characters again.

the only things I didnโ€™t love were that at times it felt similar/reminded me of another popular small town, single dad romance Iโ€™ve read. although in general Iโ€™m just not the biggest single parent trope fan and towards the end some things did overlap with the previous books but this is just me being picky. I still really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to continue the series!!

thank you to NetGalley & Paisley Hope for the arc ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

tropes:
- sheriff x teacher
- single dad
- best friends brother
- accidental vegas marriage
- โ€œmy wifeโ€
- dual pov
