I have been WAITING to read this next book. I don’t think I have requested a book quicker than I did this one. Ginger and Cole’s story has been my most anticipated book out of all of them. I have loved the snippets we’ve seen through the other books and was so excited to get to read their story.
I loved their relationship and really enjoyed all of the flashbacks so that we really understood their history. Ginger and Mabel’s relationship was just adorable and I always found myself rooting for them. Cole as a dad was just perfection though!
Although I enjoyed this book, I didn’t think there was as much depth as the storylines in Ivy and Wade’s book. I do wish we saw a little more interaction between Ginger and her friends and Cole and his family. I also thought we’d get more of Granny Dan, as she was such a character at the beginning of the first book. These are only minor points though.
I absolutely loved this book. Ginger and Cole’s relationship (along with Mabes) may be my favourite of the series. The way it was written, you can tell that they’re in their own world and it’s always been each other for them both.
I am so grateful to have received all of these as arcs and I’m so glad I requested the first one when I saw it. What a fantastic series!

Returning to the world of Paisley Hope's "Riding the High" feels like reuniting with old friends. The characters are so familiar, it's as if we've never left their side. This latest installment brings back all the charm, warmth, and excitement that we get from small town lives and Im glad this installment was all about Ginger.
Straight away it all feels familiar, in a good way. Comfortable and with characters where you just want thinks to work out well for. Cole, Mable and Ginger make a perfect trio to follow through life and enjoy the way they approach some challenges - even Mable is a good example to us all on how to deal with things.
Cole as the OG F**kboy finally acknowledging and owning his feels feels more modern man that what we're used to, and his selflessness makes him even more attractive - without Ginger even knowing it. When the whole group take a trip to Vegas everything changes - and its chaotic enough to really match the personalities we've come to expect from Ginger and Cole - Id have been disappointed if it went differently!
The plot is engaging and filled with twists that keep you thinking will they wont they even though you know its end game for them; Yet, it's the moments of quiet reflection and heartfelt interactions, the brutal honesty of their thoughts and fears that truly shine. The relationships between the characters are beautifully developed, making you root for their happiness and success.
I am dying to know how much is in Mables College fund though - We see all the money go in but never know how much is in there. Trival thought but the time we spend 'watching' someone put money in the jar makes me feel like i have a right to know!

It was us. We were the tornado.
🌻 Accidental Marriage
🌻 Best friends brother
🌻 Single dad x nanny
🌻 Small town romance
🌻 Secret friends to lovers
In the first two books we see Cole and Ginger’s relationship from the outside and how snarky they are with their love/hate relationship. I wish we’d got to see more of that before we learnt of the softer side they share for each other.
But half way in, I was hooked and didn’t stop until I was finished. Cole and Ginger’s need for each other, Gingers blossoming relationship with Mabel. Cole being all sweet and mushy seeing them together. Their little team and family falling into place was an absolute joy to read.
I did feel that we missed out on the actual ‘accidental marriage’ part of the plot. The Vegas plot seemed rather short lived, they wake up one day and find they got married while drunk and then go home. I want juicy details of their drunk escapades, to getting married and even their first time together 🤭🌶️
There’s a lot of different family situations explored and how it affects each individual. Reconciliation was also brushed upon.
I really felt for Cole as feel nobody really knew his true self other than Ginger, he was considered playboy or sheriff even by his family and friends who thought he was a non-commitment type guy. Cole’s revenge era was HOT, that backwards baseball cap, law daddy was doing bits🥵
Ginger is strong, fierce and sassy. Never one to back down from a challenge. I enjoyed the moment she stopped letting her dad make her feel small and her maturity and willingness to accept his apology and to improve their relationship. I loved her Italian family and sharing their roots with Mabel, was so sweet.
But together, even as friends, they know each other down to every last flaw and I loved that. The Brooklyn 99 references has been laughing out loud and I enjoyed the realism it bought to the book! They’ve always had each others back or know when something is wrong, their communication was strong enough to avoid the third act breakup that I thought was coming 🤣
Mabel was a fantastic character in this book, she is prominent in Cole’s life (obviously as his daughter) and we’re shown how important she is throughout, never forgotten and always considered when decisions are made. She’s an absolute gem, always brutally honest and has some amazing lines! The funniest and sweetest little girl.
I also loved the involvement of the previous book characters and seeing how their stories have grown and developed 🫶🏼
Both Cole and Ginger had some great lines and inner monologues that had been laughing out loud or feeling all mushy!
Cole - “Stunning, tempting, exquisite, sinful, mine.”
“Do you drip down your thighs like this for all your friends?”
“Now, I want to taste my wife,”
Ginger - *on a scale of one to ten—with one being a responsible adult and ten being a total fucking slut for Cole Ashby—I’m sitting at about a one hundred and one*
*Hot Sheriff Daddy, big dick energy*
“You’re always the only thing I see, Cole”

STUNNING. OUTSTANDING. OBSESSED.
Every book in this series gets better and better and DAMN I did not think I had a thing for police officers but Cole had proved me wrong! I loved him and Ginger, they were so cute together and just darn right sexy. Loved every second!

I adored this book so much! The relationship development was soooo good, and I love how fiercely protective Cold and Ginger are over each other. I love the friendship that Ginger has with Coles daughter, and I love that she is close with his entire family. I love the Not Angles, and their friendship is what everyone needs in their life 🫶 This book is so perfect for fans of small time romance, and series's like the chestnut springs series ❤️

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for granting me an arc. I have loved this series so far, and Riding the high was just as good as books one and two. I loved Cole and Ginger so much I loved their relationship the banter was great and they were best friends to lovers, they had such good chemistry! I loved the mix of the single dad and fake marriage trope I think that they were done very well. I feel there was much more stakes in this book. I loved Mabel I thought she was adorable and the steamy scenes oh my god they were soooo good I think the best steamy scenes in the series so far! I had such a great time with this book and I can’t wait for the series to continue and see who the next couple is! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ please pick up this series if you love chestnut springs and Elise silver this will be be your new favourite small town romance series! Paisley Hope has become a new favourite author for me!

WOAH. That was just 🥵🥵. I am so beyond grateful to have received an ARC for this book. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Paisleys books and this one did not disappoint (even with it being friends to lovers)!! I absolutely adore the relationship of Cole and Ginger from the very beginning you could feel the tension between them and I loved it so much!! I loved how it built up throughout the book too. Absolutely loved the accidental marriage part of this book and it really was perfect for these characters. Mabel is an absolute little angel and the sweetest child ever I literally couldn’t get enough of her! Let’s just say the handcuffs 🥵 I adored that we got to see the characters from the others books and loved that we got to see snippets of their lives too!! I will literally devour anything that Paisley writes!

I’ve been waiting for Cole and Ginger since Holding The Reins and they did not dissapoint.
Feisty FMC? Check.
Single Dad Sherrif aka Law Daddy? Check
Best friends brother but also secretly your. best friend too who you’ve been pining for since you were a teen? Double Check
Oh and a secret wedding! Check check check!!
The slow sideline banter of these two has been building for two books and somehow it only got better and better. Cole and Ginger have danced around each other for years, in public they are snarky but In private they are each others confidants and partners in crime. One drunken night in Vegas it comes to a head with them getting married and dealing the deal. To avoid public scandal they decide to keep it on the DL until the end of summer when they assume they can secretly divorce. Only fate has other plans for them.
I’m such a fan of the way Paisley Hope is able to blend the most sweet sentimental beautiful relationships with some of the most toe curlingly hot spice!
5⭐️ easily. Cole and Ginger have taken top spot in Silver Pines.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you to Net Galley, Random House and Paisley Hope for the advanced copy.

Ginger & Cole ❤️
🌶️🌶️🌶️. 5
Paisley Hope is definitely in my top 5 authors! Her books just get better and better. And every book I've read has been ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me.
I was so looking forward to reading Ginger & Cole's book and it did not dissapoint! Daddy Cole is just 🥵
I absolutely loved the relationship between both Ginger & Cole and Ginger & Mabel and obviously the relationship all 3 of them have. Mabel is just the cutest kid!
This book had everything I love from banter and spice to really cute heartwarming moments. There is also no third act breakup which is a bonus!
It's great we get to see snippets of everyone else's lives. From Cece & Nashs wedding to Ivy & Wade having their baby 🥰
The epilogue is set 7 years later which I really appreciate.
I will 100% be recommending this author to anyone who will listen! And I am so looking forward to seeing what's next.
Beyond grateful for the opportunity to receive and ARC for this. Thank you!

Thank you Paisley Hope for blessing us with Sheriff Cole Ashby better knows as Law Daddy.
Silver Pines Ranch has made it to my S-tier cowboy romance series’ and some of my favourites to recommend. When I heard this was Ginger’s book and how our impulsive queen married her best friend’s brother drunk in Vegas- I just knew this was going to be a great one. Ginger’s relationship with Mabel was so adorable. I loved their little gardening dates and OMG Cole and his daughter bloody precious. For those who need further convincing to read this novel we have: forced proximity, friends to lovers, accidental marriage of convenience AND single dad x nanny. These are like all of my favourite things. I read this book in a sitting because I loved it so much. I cannot recommend it enough and I can’t wait to see what else Paisley Hope comes up with!!!

OH MY GOD I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT A SINGLE DAD AND A NANNY BUT IM OBSESSED! I’ve been waiting for Ginger and Cole’s story since the first book and it did not disappoint! It was so good! I loved it!! DAMN PAISLEY HOPE KNOWS HOW TO WRITE ABOUT THE PERFECT MAN Cole Ashby is one of my favourite book boyfriends ever! Just damn!

it certainly does not disappoint. The story continues to follow the captivating lives of the characters we’ve come to love, diving deeper into their personal struggles and triumphs. The author has a remarkable talent for crafting relatable characters who feel real, making it easy to become emotionally invested in their journeys.
The plot is well-paced, blending romance, drama, and moments of humor seamlessly. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and their development throughout the book is both believable and satisfying. Hope’s vivid descriptions of Silver Pines bring the setting to life, making readers feel as though they are right there alongside the characters.

Paisley Hope delivers a sizzling and heartwarming romance in Riding the High, a story filled with laughter, swoon-worthy moments, and undeniable chemistry.
When Cole Ashby, a devoted single dad and sheriff, and Ginger Danforth, a congressman’s daughter, wake up married after a wild Vegas weekend, they strike a deal: stay secretly wed until their personal goals are met. But as they navigate their unexpected marriage, the lines between pretend and reality blur, leading to a deeply emotional and passionate journey.
From their playful banter to their undeniable tension, Cole and Ginger’s relationship had me laughing out loud, kicking my feet, and even shedding a few tears. Cole was everything—a protective father, a dedicated sheriff, and a swoon-worthy hero. And the spice? Absolutely sizzling! The chemistry between them was off the charts, making every moment electric.
This book perfectly executes the friends-to-lovers trope, blending humor, emotion, and romance effortlessly. It’s hands down the best in the series and my favorite from Paisley Hope.
A huge thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Paisley Hope for the ARC. I adored every second of this book!

Riding the High by Paisley Hope is book 2 in a steamy small town cowboy romance series. All the books are interconnected and I highly recommend that you read them in order as there are a lot of throwbacks, plus each book contains a continuation of previous characters HEA, which I absolutely loved. The side characters and the day-to-day running of the ranch really are integral to the plot and creating that cosy feeling of being with old friends.
This book was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The only problem was that Ginger and Cole had such fiery chemistry from the very beginning that, even though she's his little sister's best friend, it's hard to believe that they'd waited this long to admit their feelings for one another.
The scenes with Mable were all kinds of adorable. The part where they were making pancakes in the kitchen and she had "her Christmas-morning smile on a simple Tuesday in the middle of June" had me bawling. This trio really are my favourite characters from the Silver Pines series so far... and I usually always prefer the OGs.

4.5 Stars. I loved this story. Paisley Hope is an autobuy author for me. She just does cowboy romance perfectly. This made me realise just how much of a sucker I am for single dad romances.

the easiest five stars for Cole, Ginger and Mabel. i have been waiting for this instalment of the series since i read “Holding the Reigns” back in August and i am SO fortunate to have gotten the ARC three months before release day!! i LOVE single dad, best friends brother all day every day but Cole is also a cop!! not only a cop but a sheriff😍 i loved their solid friendship, found family and watching Ginger fall head over heels for Mabel. their little family had my kicking my feet, i simply felt so giddy. i loved seeing all the characters i know and love from previous books in the series and LOVED the feature of their trip to Vegas!! i felt this put a spin on cowboy romance that we don’t normally get and i LOVED watching everyone have so much fun before returning to their small town!

Ginger and Coles story was definitely worth the wait!
It was great to be back in Silver Pine Ranch for the next installment and Paisley does not disappoint. One H.O.T sheriff and a feisty teacher, a burning chemistry and a wild night in Vegas, what could go wrong??? Or what could make it all just right! Mamma Jo, and the most wonderful family that you just fall in love with. Sangria Sundays, friendships, so much love and kindness, blened families and all those who try to tear it apart. Fast paced and just wonderful.
ARC - Book 3 in the Silver Pine Ranch Series, Great cat hing up woth previous characters, gives it so much more depth, but could be read as a standalone (youre missing out if you do that).

A fast paced Paisley Hope cowboy romance? Yes please!
Ate it up & loved it, a single dad romance but it really was on the filthier side... maybe a little more than was needed. But I enjoyed it as an easy read.

Overall rating 5⭐️
Paisley has gone and done it again. I have loved all the books so far in the Silver Pines ranch series however this is my favourite.
The first two books had hints of Cole and Gingers dynamic and you could see that there was a lot more under the surface that just the banter between them. I loved the connection and friendship that Cole and Ginger developed through the book and how with Mabel they became a family. There is also great spice but wasn’t too much and was well placed throughout the book.
The writing style was great with a dual POV.
It’s also great reading the continuation of the other main characters stories from the first two books and can’t wait for the rest of the series.
I was lucky to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Fun, sweet, and cowboy adjacent enough justify the cowboy hat on the cover. I will say this wasn't my favourite in the series, and my god, it was filthier than I think was necessary! But the characters always entertain, and I can never resist a single dad. Some mystery in there to keep it intriguing as well!
