This book was absolutely everything I had hoped for.. and more.
Paisley has a beautiful way of drawing you in and making you fall in love with the world she has created. I’d loved Cole and Ginger since book one and really, really enjoyed their friends to lovers romance. The drunk wedding in Vegas was extra special too and the “my wife” moments were everything. I loved Ginger’s relationship and bond with Mabel; they really needed each other and their bond was so special. The best team mates.
I loved this book so much and can’t wait to continue on with the series.

This is like a blueprint for the perfect romance book.
I just KNEW Cole & Ginger were going to have chemistry but they were EXPLOSIVE. I’m truly obsessed.
The accidental wedding trope might be a new favourite for me after this because I ate it up. Impeccably done.

✨Riding the High✨ by Paisley hope
I mean when doesn’t Paisley Hope write a fantastic romance book! I had high hopes for this book after reading the first two in the series and I can say this delivered!! I’ve waited for Cole and Ginger’s story since they first appeared and was ecstatic to get an Arc! Couldn’t put it down!
If you want a small town romance, with a hot sheriff, a sassy teacher and lots of flirty banter this one’s for you! If you still haven’t read any books from The Silver Pines series I’d highly recommend you check them out!

Riding The High by Paisley Hope…..Oh boy!! Another thoroughly enjoyable read.
Cole and Ginger may follow a dare in Las Vegas on a bachelorette/ bachelor weekend, but all that they do after shows if they’re right for each other or not!!
Familiar characters from the previous two books come in and out of the story too, plus some new ones. The description of the countryside that they live in, makes me want to travel there right now!!
I loved the story, love love love the characters who feel like friends, and am so looking forward to seeing the next story!
Many thanks to Random House for the opportunity to read this arc copy via Netgalley before the publication date. My opinion is my own.

Firstly I would like to thank NetGalley, Random House UK, Penguin Books Aus and Paisley for this ARC opportunity. If I could rate this book infinite stars, I would. I have rated every Paisley book 5 stars so it was no exception that this one would be anything less!! I was so excited for Cole and Gingers book! And especially since it is a single parent trope! I literally felt all emotions reading this book, I smiled like most of the time, giggled constantly and even had some tears thrown in there too.
This story follows Cole Ashby, the newly appointed town Sheriff and single dad as he tries to convince the town he isn’t the old womaniser they think he is. Ginger Danforth, his sisters best friend, is looking for some fun for the summer, and when the opportunity to let loose a little arises, a drunken wedding in Vegas leads to an arraignment being made that will benefit both of them, Ginger looks after his daughter for the summer while they keep their marriage a secret until it can be annulled, the only issue is, their secret and their friendship grows, revealing stashed away feelings that continue to grow.
- single dad
- Accidental marriage
- Best friends brother
- Sheriff x teacher
- Forced proximity
Let’s talk about Daddy Cole Weston Ashby for a minute!! Who doesn’t love a hot sheriff who is a single dad, loves his daughter with his whole heart and is determined to make sure that Mabel gets the life that she deserves, putting aside his own life and feelings so she could have a life full of happiness. He is so caring, funny, hardworking and determined. I love a lot of things about Cole, but my favourite are the things he does through his actions and words.
Ginger has now became my favourite Silver Pines girlie! Who doesn’t love a sexy, funny, feisty, confident gal! She is always there for her friends and always puts others before herself. Seeing her grow as a character and her relationship with not only Cole, but with Cece, and the other past characters was such a great read. I couldn’t get over how much I really enjoyed Ginger and her relationship with little Mabel. My favourite thing about ginger is hr sassy attitude and caring nature.
We can’t forget about our girl Mabel. I think she was my favourite thing about this book. She is just so sweet and adorable and her fun and sweet relationship with Ginger quickly became my favourite. Her love for her dad was so special, one I hope my future kids have with their father. Their team of “Daddy and the Girls” was by far the best part of the book.
I genuinely couldn’t put this book down. I was super obsessed with their connection, especially being friends first, the tension and chemistry growing, then their relationship just grows into more, I couldn’t stop rooting for them from the get go. I was OBSESSED with the banter and confidence these two had and their communication was so amazingly written.
The spice in this book was SPICING and I was so here for it. Every single development in this story was spectacular and the family aspect of these books are my favourite. I also want to point out the Brooklyn 99 referenace were the best, I love that show!
I missed all the other characters too, so seeing them all come back was amazing, and seeing their stories continue as well was so special.

The third instalment of the Silver Pines series, I read the first with CeCe and Nash, but somehow missed the second and back into it with Ginger and Cole’s story.
Ginger and Cole have been spending more time together, especially now that Gemma, Cole’s wife and Mabel’s Mum is out of the picture. On a wild weekend in Vegas they wake to find that they got married the night before. Annulment isn’t an option and a quickie divorce would be too public for Cole’s probationary period as the new Sheriff, and while they wait for Ginger’s Dad is re-elected as Kentucky Congressman.
I liked revisiting some of the characters that were in the previous book(s), this seems to only take place about a year after the first book, now that CeCe and Nash are getting married this summer.
It was hot and sexy, once you got past the “we shouldn’t do this, we’re friends” bit. But the “I’m turned on by your attitude but I’m going to make you submit to me and know I’m the boss” trope is just not it for me! Plus, Cole has a daughter her adore, and yet that’s how he treats women – true to life, but yuck!
I appreciate that the book opens with a content warning for sexual content including mild degradation (I should have considered myself told) so be aware of that if you are sensitive to anything.
Thank you to Random House UK and Paisley Hope for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I was so happy to be selected for ARC by Netgalley for this book, I didn’t even realise that I somehow skipped the second book 🤔 Well, I'll just have to go back, haha.
Cole and Ginger are a fun couple. Even before their unfortunate wedding, they have such a chemistry, and I'm surprised that there aren't fires around them 24/7. I liked Cole's dirty mouth, I loved how Ginger never gave up and was always there for him. They both were, really. But I guess that comes with the territory of being friends for so long.
What to expect:
*friends to lovers
*fake (or not so fake) marriage
*single dad/nanny
*he's a sheriff AND a cowboy
*small town
*dirty mouth
*plenty of spice
I received an advance review copy from NetGalley for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Riding the High is book 3 in the Silver Pines series and we get to read Ginger, Cole and Mable’s story.
Ginger and Cole have always been in each other’s lives, but over the past few years, their bond has grown even closer, honestly, the banter & sarcasm was not only cute, but had me laughing out loud! Both of them are fighting their feelings and after a trip to Vegas… they end up in an ‘accidental marriage’ which I LOVED!
Now, they’re forced to face the consequences, but in true Ginger and Cole fashion, they find a way to turn the situation to their advantage. Their connection was incredible. Cole is extremely dedicated and protective of his daughter Mabel, but the bond that grew even deeper between Ginger and Mable was adorable.
The flashback chapters added such beautiful depth to the story. Seeing their friendship slowly evolve into something more was just perfection. The years of trading favors, their banter, their chemistry - it was all top tier!
Honestly I think Ginger and Cole are my favourite of the series so far, there was just something about this that had me devouring their story.
Thank you to the author and publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC - I am so grateful

Truth, Dare… I Do
A wild Vegas wedding, a cowboy sheriff, and enough heat to set Laurel Creek on fire!
This is the third and final book in the Silver Pines Ranch series, and honestly, it’s been such a joy getting to know every character in Laurel Creek. I’ve read and loved them all—but Ginger and Cole’s story? I’ve been waiting for this one since book one, and it did not disappoint.
Their banter has always been sizzling, but it was so satisfying to see it finally lead somewhere—straight into a neon-lit chapel in Vegas! A drunken game of truth or dare, a surprise marriage, and an agreement to keep it secret? YES, PLEASE! Add in a single dad sheriff, a summer of forced proximity, and more unresolved tension than you can shake a lasso at—and you’ve got my new favourite cowboy romance.
Tropes I devoured:
𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜
𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮!)
𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙’𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧
𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥
𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙙
𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙮
Cole is a total dreamboat—loyal, steady, and sexy as hell in both sheriff and dad mode. And Ginger? We’ve always seen her as the confident, wild one across the series, but here we finally get a glimpse beneath the sass to her vulnerability—and it made me love her even more. Their chemistry was off the charts, and the "my wife" moments.... SWOON.
And let’s be honest—little Mabel totally stole the show. She’s cute, clever, and absolutely key to bringing these two together.
It’s emotional, steamy, and filled with heart—the perfect wrap-up to a fantastic series. If you’re a fan of spicy cowboy romances, this one’s 100% for you. Prepare to blush!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Paisley Hope for providing me with an ARC of this book.
I have wanted and needed this book for soooo long!! Cole and Ginger were that couple that ‘hated’ each other in the beginning of the series but it was inevitable that they were going to end up together.
Being able to experience these characters in so much more detail instead of seeing them as side characters was everything. The fact that Cole and Ginger had a secret friendship for years… was so unexpected but also makes so much sense. I loved how much they have pined for the other over the years but nothing ever happened and instead they created a friendship that both of them needed.
Cole is such a control freak that Ginger is his perfect match. Without her the man wouldn’t ever let loose, but then again maybe if he had more control they wouldn’t have ended up accidentally married in vegas… but oh well.
Honestly this entire dynamic between them worked so well, there are so many feelings so up in the air that they needed to be thrown together so they could finally sort through them and I’m so glad they did. Cole and Ginger did not disappoint and I’m so happy they finally got their happy ending together. I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to their story.
I absolutely love this entire series and every book I read makes me fall even more in love with it, I can’t wait for the next instalment!!

This series has been such a pleasant surprise—I didn’t expect to love it this much, but here we are! I was especially thrilled to get a book for Cole and Ginger (and sweet Mabel!), and it absolutely delivered. Riding the High blends both the tropes of ‘best friends brother’ and ‘vegas wedding’ the right amount.
What really stood out was the slow-burn friendship (which you see from the get go) and the connection connection between Ginger, Cole, and Mabel. I absolutely love that we went back to the beginning and got to see how the friendship evolved over time. I loved seeing Ginger and Mabel’s bond. It was so wholesome - That waterfall picnic date, honestly the cutest scene. The chemistry & the humour between them all made their story incredible. And the epilogue? Perfect.
Thank you NetGalley, Paisley Hope & Random House for the e-arc in exchange from my honest review.

Paisley has done it again. I absolutely loved being back in the Silver Pines world. Cole Ashby 🔥 the mouth on that man 🫠
The chemistry and the tension between these two was next level good 😮💨 I love some good banter and this one had plenty of it! I loved Gingers relationship with sweet little Mabel 🥹 Ginger really steps up to help Cole during the summer and watching the whole family dynamic grow was so special 🥰
Highly recommend this series and I cannot wait for what's to come next.

As much as I loved the main characters and the vibes of this book I felt like the sex scenes were very dragged out and over some which kind of spoiled it for me

Tropes:
✨small town romance
✨friends to lovers
✨accidental marriage/marriage of convenience
✨hidden romance
✨nanny
✨sherif/cowboy mmc
✨no third act breakup
✨best friends brother
Small town romance featuring a cowboy/sherif mmc and a nanny full of spice and adorable moments.
Friends for years, his sister’s best friend, he cannot cross that line. But drunk in vegas, they end up married and having consummated the marriage. He’s up for sherif and her dad’s up for election as local congressman. They don’t need a scandal so they stay secretly married until after the media has died down.
Cole is such a protective grump but gives Ginger space to hold her own too. Such a positive mature relationship built on a strong foundation of years of friendship.
Special mention for the cutest little Mabel!!! I’m not usually a fan of children in books; though some authors can write a single dad that convinces me to like that trope, and this is one of them!!!
Ginger is the best nanny to Mabes, their relationship is so cute and wholesome and Cole’s admiration of it is even cuter!!
The Ashby family make their appearance throughout this story again and I’m so here for it. I love the easy bantering between them all. It just gives such warm fuzzy feelings reading it.
Silver pines is one of my favourite places to visit, thank you Paisley Hope for creating such beautiful stories.
Thank you to netgalley and Penguin Random House UK for the advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

Riding the High by Paisley Hope was such a fun read! Set in the charming town of Silver Pines, we follow Ginger and Cole – two people who end up married after a wild Vegas night. What starts as a hilarious and unexpected situation turns into something much deeper.
I loved Ginger’s fiery spirit and Cole’s quiet charm, especially as they start off as friends and slowly fall for each other. The forced proximity element was so enjoyable, and the chemistry between them was off the charts. There were moments that had me laughing out loud, and others that were really heartwarming.
Paisley Hope does such a great job of mixing humour, romance, and just the right amount of spice. It’s the perfect romantic comedy to escape into – I couldn’t put it down!
If you’re into stories with lots of heart and a bit of cheeky fun, this one’s for you!

A secret friendship turns into a secret marriage after a wild night in Vegas for Ginger & Cole in this fabulous third instalment in the Silver Pines Ranch series. Unfortunately, as a newly elected sheriff and the daughter of a politician, it couldn't be more poorly timed.
The relationship between the two built slowly, with the perfect amount of angst and steam, and was balanced perfectly with Mabel's adorableness and their growth as a family.
This had everything I could ask for - a spicy hot sheriff, an adorable daughter, small-town goodness, and much more. I’m thankful I got a chance to read it early!

Enjoyed part 3 just as much as the other 2 from silver pines, was a good comfy read, would recommend this book for any cowboy loving fan.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶 - muuuuuch spicier than a korma 🥵
Right, cuff yourselves in, there's a new Sherrif in town! 👮♂️🥵
Before I get stuck in, thank you so much to Netgalley & Random House UK, Cornerstone | Penguin for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for honest feedback!
I could share SO many quotes, but I don't want to spoil anything (or get in trouble from Instagram) 🤭
If you're looking for a forbidden romance, forced proximity through a drunken night that ends in marriage with some steamy small town cowboy / sherrif romance thrown in, THIS is gonna be the book for you! 🥵
Oh my DAYS, this book?! 💜 I loved Nash & Cece's story and I really enjoyed Wade & Ivy's story, but Cole & Ginger's story is officially my favourite! 🫶🏻 The banter, the slow(ish) burn, the friendship, the spice - ugh, everything! 🌶 It's up there as one of my favourite romance novels 🥹🩷 I was definitely blushing whilst I was reading this 🤭
I loved hearing from Mama Jo, Nash, Cece, Wade, Ivy, Liv & Papa Dean again, but the real star of the show was Mabel! 🎀 She's SUCH a wee sweetheart & adds a wee bit of innocence to the story.
The ending definitely made me a wee bit teary but warm & fuzzy inside when I was reading it 🥹
Riding the High will train your heart to hold the reins and just ride the high - this is so cheesy, I may delete it later 🤣 If you know, you know, Silver Pines friends 🤭
I loved everything about it (apart from Brent & Gemma 🫠 I'll say no more on those meanies) and highly, highly recommend it!

I didn’t think any silver pines couple could beat my love of Ivy and Wade, and yet, Ginger and Cole, take that crown!
Marriage of convenience is my favourite trope, but really I love marriage / engagement in any format, including, oops accidental wedding in Vegas oh no.
Plus it’s single parent with Mabel working hard to earn title of my favourite romance book child! So this really has every aspect I love and didn’t disappoint at all!
The dynamic between these two in the previous books really had set us up for something epic, but it was somehow even more than I could have expected? The tension, the banter and bickering and flirting, oh my word. Also the little bits of drama kept me hooked to find out what would happen and for certain characters to get their comeuppance too!
But, like with the previous books in this series, there are plenty of heartfelt, emotional moments to go alongside the drama and fun parts, plus, of course, it’s spicy as hell!

Okay, let me be clear, this book was five stars before I even new the title, because I have been invested in Ginger and Cole since book 1 of this series and I knew I was going to fall even more in love with them as the books went on.
I adore everything about this. The platonic relationship, the sassy flanter, the accidental marriage, the actual relationship that blossoms, and everything in between. I think the thing I love the most about Paisley's books, but especially this one, is the way the characters communicate like adults and there's no third act break up. It makes my heart so warm!
Ginger is so confident in her flirty-banter (flanter) with Cole until things get serious and become something more than platonic, and she's at risk of being hurt, or losing what they have entirely, and I just loved to see her gain confidence in being open with him off her own back without his prompting. But I also loved to see him push the uncomfortable conversations forward so they we're both on the same page.
Mable is such a key character in this book and I truly adore her. She's the sweetest bean and seeing her and Ginger build such a beautiful relationship was so cute.
There wasn't a single thing wrong with this. My favourite in the Silver Pines series so far, but I've been pining for them since book 1 so, naturally, that'll be the case for me ha.
Thank you to Evermore for an ARC of this book. I truly appreciate it.
