I enjoyed reading this book despite so much focus on basketball that I have no clue about. Jane and Kinzie are having the right kind of chemistry that is so clear after the hot one-night stand. It really takes time for them to circle back to each other but very understandable, Jane needs to get into the right headspace, being worthy of success in her career as well as in her love life.

I would have liked to read a bit more of a backstory about Jane and Kinzie, I think the book could easily have been a bit longer and cover also that. Hearing Kinzie's POV would also have been great, she is the main driver of their relationship for so long, and her insights and frustration would have been very interesting to read about. The book is also so focused on their chemistry and way less on their actual relationship, I hope they will get there one day or I have doubts this will be a HEA and not just a HFN.
