Detective Josie Quinn and Lieutenant Noah Fraley began as colleagues, became friends, then lovers, and finally, a formidable husband and wife team. They are as passionate about solving crime as they are about each other. Noah once told Josie that he would burn down the city to protect her. When they got married, Josie promised to always come home to Noah. But now the tables have turned, and Josie finds herself moving heaven and Earth to bring Noah back home. He's been taken on the same day as a cryptic murder. Josie's off of both cases, but NOTHING will stop her from solving the mostimportant case of her life. Get ready for a crazy ride across Pennsylvania, with a destination you'll never be able to predict. Lisa Regan has composed another masterpiece!

Wow. Just when I thought they couldn’t any better this book comes out. Josie’s house has been ransacked and her husband Noah is missing. Josie is afraid it’s linked to her troubled childhood and starts investigating. This book was nonstop good and I couldn’t put it down. And the ending left me anxious for the next book. I can hardly wait. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Book 22 in this series featuring Detective Josie Quinn and her team. A very personal case with many twists and turns.

Husband Missing by Lisa Regan. Detective Josie Quinn #22. Don't know how she does it, I marvel at Ms Regan's talent as an author. Once again Ms Regan has written brilliant and emotionally intense addition to the series. So looking forward to the next book in the series, that ending, on my! Highly recommended.
Thank you to Lisa Regan, Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

WOW! This was by far the best Lisa Regan book I read. Josie Quinn's husband Noah is abducted and she is off the case. That doesn't stop her from trying to find him and the things she finds out about her past that ties to this abduction is just mind blowing. Twist after twist I never saw coming. This is a must read If you follow the Josie Quinn series. Even if you don't, all of Lisa Reagan's books are stand alone but after you read one you'll be hooked and want to read the entire series.

Husband Missing might be book 22 but it is the best one yet (until book 23)
Josie arrives home to find Noah missing, their home trashed and a trail of blood.
Your heart is in your throat as Josie checks out every room in the house.
I counted down the hours with Josie : missing 10 hours, missing 24 hours, missing 72 hours.
The tension is unsurmoutable, the fear is real and Josie is falling apart .
Her family and friends rally around and no one is giving up least of all Josie.
Lisa Regan takes the reader on an intense, taut and emotional journey with twists and turns that will have you holding your breath and racing to the conclusion.
Husband Missing is the true definition of a page turner.
I will be first in line for the next book in this superb series.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the privilege to read and review Husband Missing.

One of the first ebooks I bought was the first boxset of the Josie Quinn series, and I'v never regretted that. Lisa Regan writes thrilling and entertaining stories that keeps you reading and at the edge of your seat. Well developed characters, nice writing style, good storyline. So yes, I highly recommend this series.
I received an advance review copy via NetGalley/Bookouture and I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

"A Heart-Pounding, Unputdownable Thriller That Left Me Breathless!"
From the very first chapter, Husband Missing had me hooked! Chapter 1 gave such a warm, intimate glimpse into Josie and Noah’s home life, setting the stage for the emotional rollercoaster that followed. But by Chapter 2, I was on the edge of my seat, and I didn’t get up until I finished the very last page. Lisa Regan has done it again—this is a pulse-pounding, adrenaline-fueled thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end.
The synopsis alone had me intrigued, but the execution was even better. Josie’s world is turned upside down when she comes home to find her house ransacked and Noah missing. The tension is palpable as she follows the trail of bloodied handprints and uncovers a chilling connection to her traumatic past. The way Regan weaves together Josie’s personal history with the current investigation is masterful. I was completely immersed in the dual mysteries, and the stakes felt incredibly real.
What I loved most was how this book dives deep into Josie’s character. Her strength, determination, and vulnerability shine through as she confronts her past while fighting to save Noah. The emotional depth added so much weight to the story, making it more than just a thriller—it’s a gripping exploration of resilience and love.
And that ending? Wow. I’m already counting down the days until Book 23! Lisa Regan knows how to leave her readers desperate for more.
If you’re a fan of Kendra Elliot, Melinda Leigh, or Lisa Regan’s previous work, you absolutely cannot miss this series. Husband Missing is a perfect blend of mystery, suspense, and heart, and it cements Josie Quinn as one of the most compelling detectives in the genre. Five stars all the way—this is a must-read!
Thanks to Ms Regan, Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

Detective Josie Quinn and her husband Lt, Noah Farley are both employed by the Denton, PA police department. They are anxiously awaiting the day their baby adoption is approved but with their work history as it is they are mindful of the roadblocks. Through circumstances in Josie’s troubled childhood, danger finds them. Only Josie can interpret the small crumbs of clues but she is reclused from the case since it is her husband who has been kidnapped. As Josie works the case from the outside there are many tense scenes, terrifying up and downs to the ever-evolving story. It will keep you strung out and emotionally drained to the very end!

This book is #22 in the Detective Josie Quinn series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone.
The book begins 12 years ago with "Bug" standing outside of a large house waiting for her mother to come out. When she finally does, Bug is terrified by the appearance of her mom. The prologue definitely grabbed my attention, which to me is super important!
After the prologue, we are introduced to several characters, including Josie, Noah, Ryan, and Trinity. At first, the connection between the characters in the prologue and the other characters in the book isn't obvious. Periodically, throughout the book, the author flashes back one week, and those flashbacks focus on "Bug" as an adult. I had already made a prediction on who Bug was, but my guess wasn't even close.
This was my first book by this author, and it definitely won't be my last!
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion/review.

Despite this book being the twenty-second in the series, the storylines are only improving and not the slightest bit formulaic. The characters are well thought out and their interactions and emotional trials are felt by the reader. Josie struggles so much in this book as she deals with the kidnapping of her husband, Noah. Her family and friends rally around to help her out while she agonizes over not knowing where Noah is or who took him. Clues seem to have something to do with Lila, the woman who kidnapped her when she was three weeks old. This case is a lot like a puzzle in that you get pieces and are trying to figure out how they all go together, but are sure you are missing some of them. It is a very intense story and I have to say the author does not make it easy to put it all together. Definitely more than a few surprises along the way. The ending is somewhat bittersweet in that you can predict more emotion hurdles Josie will be jumping in the next book. And maybe we might learn a bit more about Turner's backstory as his character has to be hiding something.

Lisa Regan is a master at crafting suspense and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. Noah is missing. When Josie comes home from work, someone has trashed their home and blood is everywhere. When the frantic hunt for Noah starts we soon see two cases collide. Josie has to look back at the life she had as a child, a woman that raised and terrorized her. What could possibly be the connection? Finding much needed family support from unexpected and also loyal people as she struggles with the fact she may never see her husband again. Trinity, her sister, are growing so much closer now. A big step for Josie. If it hadn't been for Trinity, I think Josie would have lost it sooner. We also have a very different side of Turner. He still tries to annoy Josie but you can tell he cares and softens a bit during the search for Noah.
This book has a bit of everything mixed in ... emotions, drama, bodies, and jaw-dropping twists. Lisa Regan is at the top of her game once again, and now I’m left tapping my foot as I wait for the next one because that ending… explosive! It was like 2AM when I finished and that ending made me want to scream NOOOOO!! WHAT???
I don't want to spoil anything for readers ... but if you are a JQ fan you will not be disappointed! Grab it!

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC!
Once again- blown away!! No body can write these stories like Lisa Regan!!
This story hit close to home for Josie; her terrible past has currently become her present day nightmare. With the help of her team, family and of course her own brilliance, Josie is able to follow the trail of clues!
It was awesome to see Trinity and Josie working together again, and this novel also made us cry along with the characters in anticipation.
Can't wait for the next one!!!

Another new favorite suspenseful, police procedural from Lisa Regan!! I love when Trinity and Josie work together. The story arc of Lila’s mother kept me flipping through the pages quickly. I couldn’t read fast enough. Josie and all the characters in Denton are like my family and friends. Familiar yet beyond badass!
Thank you to Lisa Regan, the publisher, NetGalley for an ARC of this.
Also, fun fact: Shirley Swenson was a dear friend and my friend and I have entered many contests to get her named as a character in one of Lisa’s books. Enter Book 22. Love and miss you forever, Shirls!

Husband Missing - Detective Josie Quinn #22 by Lisa Regan
Lisa Regan delivered in spades with this amazing page turner of a read from start to finish, with an ending you don’t expect but perhaps offers a peek of what’s to come.
Josie is tested to her very core and from every direction as she’s removed from a case that has hit too close to home. Thankfully, she has the love of her family, and as always, her team has her back (even Turner) as she desperately holds on to hope as she counts the hours throughout the story full of twists, turns and drama ultimately solving a mystery that was years in the making. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for a chance to read and review her work.

Ok, I held my breath through ninty-eight percent of this book, scared for the ending and hoping for a different one than the one I feared. Josie's shock and silence were palpable, I could feel it while reading this book and the desperation she must have felt not being able to do her normal job.
Will they find Noah in time? Will she be able to find him in time?
She and Trinity are growing so much closer. If it hadn't been for Trinity, I think Josie would have lost it so much sooner. Thank God for Gretchen and her friendship. And Josie's mom and dad. And we will see a different side of Turner in this book, at least for a little while.
This book held me by the throat the entire time I read this book. I hope you find it as good as I did. Now, I'm going to read it again.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This story was freaking amazing. I can't get over how intricate the plot was and how all the pieces came together by the end. There's a murder at the construction site of a new hospital even with increased security due to a previous incident resulting in a tragedy. Just as the investigation starts, Josie's husband Noah, goes missing from their home. The place is completely torn apart so they assume the robbers were looking for something but it doesn't explain why they would take Noah. Then Josie and her twin sister, Trinity, are working to get the house back in order when they come across an old case file and a box of Lila's mementos that Josie almost forgot she had. Who in the world would be interested in that? Nothing seems to make sense.
Josie's in a terrible state and even though she's not supposed to be working, we readers know that won't stop her. With her close family and friends around her for support, she tries her hardest to focus on the current murder investigation and her abusive mother's background to see if anything connects to Noah's disappearance. She can't comprehend life without him and will do anything on either side of the law to ensure his return.
I could not put this book down. I was hooked once it delved into Lila's childhood and the mystery surrounding her mother. I knew it would resolve somewhat like it did, but that didn't stop it from being so bittersweet and sentimental. And what is Lisa Regan doing with that ending?! That's just torturous teasing us like that! How am I supposed to wait for the next book when she casually throws that in there like that? Pure genius.

Noah is missing, and Josie’s world is teetering on the edge. This case was understandably overwhelming for Josie and, at times, difficult to read. Gretchen had Josie’s back, and even Turner, somewhat unexpectedly, proved to be a source of support. Josie’s entire family – especially her sister – rallied around her, making it heartwarming to see the unwavering support she had gathered.
The case itself was fantastic, very complex, and I think it’s one of my favorites in the entire series. Just when I thought every detail of Josie’s past and her kidnapper mother had already been explored, I was proven wrong. The twists kept coming, and the way everything connected in the end was both surprising and satisfying.
That said, I was a bit disappointed with the ending; it wasn’t the direction I had hoped for. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
I would like to thank NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Lisa Regan for supplying a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Another excellent book in this series. Detective Josie Quinn is a brilliant character and as usual she has so much thrown at her in this book. I was interested to see how she would cope when she was removed from cases when her husband was abducted, but she was as tenacious as always, encouraged by her twin, bending rules (and credibility in places!) to get to what she needed. The story of her nemesis Lila was threaded throughout and skilfully done to bring the different strands of the plot together. I enjoyed trying to work out how the different cases would link together, and was blindsided by at least one twist. I found Roe an excellent character and found myself feeling so much empathy for her, in site of her alleged crimes. I hope we hear more about her in a future book as I think she could become important in Josie's quest to unravel her past. The ending is a proper cliff-hanger and I am really looking forward to the next book already to find out the impact of it!
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.
