I received this book from NetGalley, and here is my honest review!
I love Phantasma so much, so I have big expectation for this one but sadly, I didn't love this book as much as I love Phantasma.
The plot line is great actually, but I don't really like Vivi here. Her behavior and decision is bothering me actually when I read the book. And it kind of slow at first, but after 30% of the book I think the story turn much better.
Rowin and Vivi is great as couple, well they kind of bantering so much the entire book but that's what make them interesting as couple, even tough they need to act as a couple but I don't really see it that way. Their relationship is also slow burn, really really slow but both of them interest with each other but withhold their feelings.
The one who makes me want to continue to read this book is the game. Its brutal because all of them is a family but it is interesting to see this siblings behave. I really want to know what happen at the end, and how they will resolve the problem not only the current game but as whole. The story with Vivi and Rowin is actually finish but as a whole conflict with Rowin's family is not finished yet. Maybe we will see different siblings on next book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 🤌🏻🖤✨ Enchantra is everything. A darkly addictive masterpiece I’ll never stop recommending!
We all know my thoughts on Phantasma.. if you haven't seen my summary, just open Enchantra and it's there. *Pinch me moment* 😍🥹
📚 My second book review within The Wicked Games series👇🏻
"This book has completely consumed me - in the best possible way. Receiving it felt like a true honour, and I’ve read it more than three times already... it’s that unforgettable. It’s not just a story - it’s *my* ultimate gothic paranormal romance.
The eerie charm of an Italian palace, a cursed game with deadly consequences, and a fake romance that spirals into something deeper, it’s everything I crave in a dark fantasy!
Genevieve is sharp, fierce, and endlessly compelling. Rowin is the kind of mysterious, brooding love interest you fall for despite yourself - moody, magnetic, and hiding more than he lets on.. 🥵 Their chemistry is electric, and the twisted, high-stakes game they’re trapped in adds an edge that keeps you holding on for dear life!
This book is rich with atmosphere, dripping in tension, and layered with secrets. It’s haunting, seductive, and totally unforgettable. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know, and I’ll keep doing so—because reads like this don’t come around often. Well done Kaylie - you've done it once again." 👏🏻

This was such a fun read! And spicy 🥵
I love a good marriage of convenience trope and this was a good one. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Rowin and Genevieve— and watching them build a partnership was 🙌
The setting was atmospheric and unique. The full cast of characters with the Silver siblings was delightful— I have a feeling we’ll see them again!
If you liked Phantasma, you’ll like this one.

As a successor to Phantasma, Enchantra plays out similar beats with just different core plotlines. I was hoping that Vivi's story was going to have a bit more character development for her, especially with how impulsive she was throughout this story. The "'Tons" were a welcome cast that we were able to explore more than we did for Vivi herself. Overall, this book allows Smith to explore more characters in this world now that the sisters' stories seem to be done. I just wished there were higher stakes at the end of the book.

Wow, this book is amazing! If phantasma was good this is 10x times better. I finished it in two days , couldn’t put it down!
Enchantra has everything a romatsy reader is looking for in a book. The story is full of secrets and twists, I definitely enjoy this read and will be recommending it to everyone!

Incredibly suspenseful and dark and romantic. Fans of horror and romance alike will love this eerie gothic tale!

A thoroughly enjoyable follow-up to Phantasma. At first I wasn't sure about it, as it seemed to be very similar plot wise (locked in a house of devils/demons, fighting to stay alive). Turns out it was more than that. I have read other reviews mentioning the family dynamic, and I think that's what swung it for me. I really enjoyed discovering the different characters in the Silver family. I liked the 'found family' plot and really enjoyed the romantic aspect too. I will definitely be reading the next story.

Absolutely obsessed! I loved Phantasma and absolutely inhaled this one, the moment it hit my galley shelf. I need more of this series and pronto!! I demand more of Kaylie Smith books - she's an auto-buy author for sure! I loved the tension, the angst, and the dangerous flirtation between Genevieve and Rowin. Kaylie Smith has an incredible knack at world building that is unlike any worlds I've yet to come across in my years of reading. I love that she mixes high stakes games with the macabre and morbid but them also throws in steam and spice that make you crave wanting to be in those spaces with the characters! One of my favorite reads this years.

3.5 stars.
This book started a little slower for me than Phantasma, and I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy Genevieve as a character, but once the the Hunt started, I could not put this book down. While Phantasma focused (imo) more on the deadly trials, this book focused a lot more on the romance and relationship between Genevieve and Rowin. I enjoyed watching Genevieve slowly chip away at Rowin's rough exterior and the banter between the two of them.

Thank you @NetGalley and @SecondSky/Forever for the ARC. I enjoyed Enchantra, but not as much as I loved Phantasma. The pacing for this book was just to slow. Each level was filled with the same game of getting to know you and felt repetitive. I am excited for a possible 3rd book of Salem and his father, The Devil.

I didn't even think I could love another book in this series more than book 1. Well Kaylie Smith proved me wrong! This is my fave!
I absolutely looooved Genevieve's story! I love how she doesn't need a man to survive or protect her!
I loved and hated Rowan's family! I literally could not stop reading this! I am already dying for books 3 and 4!!! I just don't know if there is any way they can top this one!

Really, this is more 3.5 stars from me, but I feel like I need to round down for dramatic effect... I really wanted to love Enchantra like I did Phantasma (an easy 5-star read for me!). The magical world Kaylie Smith created was intriguing, and there were moments that truly pulled me in. But overall, I found myself struggling to stay invested—and most of that came down to Genevieve.
As a protagonist, Genevieve felt far too juvenile for the heavy stakes of the story. Her decisions were often impulsive, her emotions all over the place, and her inner dialogue sometimes bordered on frustrating/irritating. I kept waiting for her to grow, to take responsibility, to rise to the challenges around her—but that growth either came too slowly or not at all. Instead of rooting for her, I found myself cringing at her more often than not.
Her relationship with Rowin didn’t help. It had the potential to be compelling, but the dynamic felt imbalanced. Rowin came across as mature and steady, while Genevieve seemed stuck in a whirlwind of angst and indecision. I wanted to feel the tension and chemistry between them, but it just didn’t land the way it was meant to. It felt forced and unbelievable in every way.
Still, I can’t say I didn’t enjoy parts of the book. The magic, the game, and some of the supporting characters were well done. I just wish the emotional core of the story—especially through Genevieve—had been stronger. With a bit more character development, this could have been a much more satisfying read. Thank you, NetGalley!

Enchantra was just as enchanting as Phantasma! It was a spicy, enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience romantasy involving a deadly locked room game. It combined many of my favorite tropes into one page turning read! I loved Genevieve in Phantasma and couldn’t wait to read her story. I was not disappointed! loved the banter between her and Rowin. I also loved Rowin. I liked all his siblings and the dynamics. The concept of the story was interesting and I enjoyed all the hunts. I highly recommend this series to everyone!

Many thanks to Second Sky/Forever for the advance copy!
Genevieve Grimm finds herself in a deadly game of hide and seek after showing up at the house of a mysterious friend of her mother’s. She’s shocked to find out that her best option is to join the game by marrying Rowin. While Genevieve is appalled to be marrying a handsome stranger, the secrets and danger of the game lead them to move past their loathing for one another and give into lust.
I loved Phantasma, and Enchantra did not disappoint as a follow-up book. Genevieve is a fiercely strong FMC that I loved from the very beginning. Rowin’s family was full of secrets and drama. The hunt was incredibly interesting and I loved the challenges. Overall, it was just an immersive, swoony, and fun read that I devoured.

This is a me problem.. it must be right? I read Phantasma and did not love it so I probably should not have continued with the series.
Two stars feels low and I don't mean to say it's a bad book, it's not... I just didn't have a good time reading it. The actual writing is okay but the style is just very dry and not engaging. I found myself bored the entire time and just wanting to get through it. The story as a whole is good, when I look back on the book my thoughts are "that was a good story, very creative, good character development, I like Genevieve, etc." but while I'm actually reading it I'm more like "wow this is slow and boring, I just want to be done." The story did feel a little repetitive from the first book as it was another game, but I liked that we got to know Genevieve in this one since we didn't in Phantasma.
If you loved Phantasma you'll probably love this, but I think my journey with this series ends here.

A wonderful follow up to Phantasma! I really enjoyed Enchantra, perhaps more so than Phantasma. It was a dark and broody read with fun and interesting characters (and a MFC who is perfectly sassy!). I can't wait to follow the rest of the Silvers.

A spicy enemies to lovers romantasy that hit all the right spots. I read Phantasma and liked it but didn't love it. But when I read the description for Enchantra I knew I would love it more. This book had a similar vibe and feel to the first book but it had a lot of differences too. I enjoyed the tension between Genevieve and Rowin. I also really loved Rowin's family members. They definitely made the book more fun. I followed the game better than I followed what was going on in Phantasma. If you are a romance or fantasy fan, I'd recommend this one. It could be read on its own but some characters from the first book do make an appearance so I'd recommend reading the whole series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy. Opinions are my own.

I have to say that Kaylie Smith knows how to write a story about some very interesting trials/games. Genevieve picks that absolute worst time to start looking for answers and finds herself trapped in a dangerous game, surrounded by people who cannot be trusted. Throw in a marriage of convenience, some delicious banter/tension and you’re in for one heck of a ride!

This. Story. I am loving Kaylie Smith's writing and this series! I read this in one sitting because I couldn't put it down and am so excited for the next one. Do yourself a favor and start this series today!
