Oh I love the Honeychurch Hall series, and this did not disappoint! I think this is my favourite book of the series so far!
This is set in a very quirky village, with even quirkier characters. Kat is the main character in this series, and this sees sabotage at a local show when goats are somehow let loose, and of course suspicious deaths. Kat is also navigating her way around a fairly new relationship with a local police detective. On top of all this Kat is in danger of losing her home.
This is a book that can be read as a standalone but I would strongly recommend reading all the previous books in the series, they are a pure delight!
Thanks must go to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me a copy of this book to read and review.

First time I've read any of these books but I'll be looking out for more. Eric Pugsley brings home his Turkish fiancée who is a lot younger than him. They want to get married quickly and then go back to Turkey. Tragedy strikes when someone is found drowned but it turns out to be murder. He asks Kat to value a Turkish ring and she becomes suspicious

these books fill me with joy. they could be a standalone but its great to go back to the witty quirky characters weve met before. they remind me so much of the great M.c Beaton books. and coming back to the books is the same excitement i get when i know im about to delve into a new adventure behind the covers of Beatons. they are fabulous, light, funny and joyful mysterys. i dont know quite how such goings on can ever be made into such "lift you up" books but they just do.
i always used to get really sad thinking when Beatons next or dare i say last book might be coming out. but then these by Hannah entered my world and i felt a little better.
