I did enjoy this book. It was intense and disturbing. I couldn't put it down. I love this author. This is the 11th book I have read by him. I would definitely recommend this book

Did not get to read - have way too many books on the shelf. Need to clear some out. Hope to get to this one in the future though.

I was accepted to read this book before official publication through NetGalley and below is my honest review.

I really did not enjoy this book. I guessed the plot about 10% in and very nearly DNF’d it but pushed myself just in case I was proven wrong.. I wasn’t.

The synopsis of the story is quite misleading - she is neither leading a good nor a peaceful life. It sounds like an awful life if you ask me.

I didn’t find myself wanting to constantly pick this up or wanting to read on. I finished it purely to give it a chance. It felt unrealistic and tedious.

This one really got under my skin in the best kind of way. I Remember You is a psychological thriller that leans hard into the emotional side of suspense, and I was hooked from the first few chapters. Theo Baxter doesn’t just want you to solve a mystery — he wants you to feel it.

The atmosphere is thick with tension. There's this constant sense that something is just slightly off, even in the quiet moments. It gave me that rare feeling where I was genuinely uneasy, not because of jump scares or gore, but because the story messes with your sense of truth. And that’s what makes it so effective.

The characters aren’t just vehicles for plot either. They're messy, human, and layered. I found myself going back and forth on who I trusted, which made the reveals that much more satisfying — and unsettling. Baxter has a way of planting little emotional landmines that go off when you least expect them.

What I really liked is that it never felt overly complicated just for the sake of being clever. The twists are smart, but they’re rooted in the characters’ experiences and choices. That makes them hit harder.

If you’re into thrillers that play with memory, grief, and identity while still delivering real suspense, this one is well worth your time. I Remember You stays with you — even after you turn the last page.

I loved this book! While it’s not hard to guess who the bad guy is, it was very enjoyable book to read. It was an easy read, and I finished the book quickly.(that’s exactly how I like for this type of books).

A suspenseful slow burn psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge. I really enjoyed my first book of this author.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last! The opening flashback was enraptured me in tension and the connect amid reader and protagonist happened instantly. A sensational thriller; thoroughly impressed!

Really enjoyed this one!

Although there were no twists as such in this the plot was still really gripping. I always love a book that can make me feel really strong feelings and emotions & the hatred I had for Austin was unreal!

3.25/5 stars! I have enjoyed the Theo Baxter books I have read, so was excited to get my hands on "I Remember You." Unfortunately this book doesn't live up to the standards to other books by this author. It felt like the premise set the book up for failure. The premise is about how perfect Aria's life is and that she's in a happy marriage. The reality is these two hate each other and that becomes quickly evident. I think if it had been marketed that way, I would have enjoyed it more. That said, I still liked the twists and Aria was a compelling character.

Well this physiological thriller really does have it all. A secluded location, a main character with retrograde amnesia, and another who may or may not be telling her the truth.

My favourite part of this book is the writing of the characters. Almost instantly I found myself rooting for Aria and absolutely loathing Austin.

Is it predictable? Maybe slightly, if you read a lot of these types of books. But it really shouldn’t matter, given the exceptional writing. I couldn’t recommend more.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. It was a quick read for me, I was able to finish it in about 6hours. I was slightly disappointed that I guessed the ending in the first few chapters. However, it did not make the book disappointing in any way, I loved reading all the pieces fall together in the story.

Creepy thriller about a woman who lost her memory and is trying to figure out what is real. The author did a great job establishing a feeling of isolation and anxiety. Left me feeling very unsettled. Overall interesting and gripping thriller. 3.5 stars.

Quick read and entertaining even though it was too predictable.
You know from the first pages what the ultimate revelation is going to be; so, I guess what matters more is how Aria, the main character, will find it out.
If you are interested in toxic masculinity and how victims psychologically react to it, you will probably enjoy it more than I have.

This was a page turner and I’m glad I was able to read this book it was great I will recommend on release day

Aria wakes up with no memory of her life before a traumatic accident, and now she’s living off the grid with her husband Austin, trying to rebuild. Everything seems fine—until it doesn’t. Her nightmares start creeping in, and the pieces of her past that do come back don’t match Austin’s version of the story. And let me tell you… the vibes were off.

I flew through this one needing to know what was real, what wasn’t, and who was lying (because someone clearly was).

This is a good psychological thriller where you're never sure what you can or can not trust as you are reading the book. There are lots of twists and turns and it keeps you turning pages.
