A truly wonderful resource for anyone recovering or researching for a C-section .
It is not a book (like so many others) which is just out to scare but came from a supportive and reassuring place .
Thank you

Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience, but as the due date nears, many mothers feel anxiety alongside excitement. Classes can only prepare expectant mothers so far. Personally speaking, my class barely touched upon c-sections. I recall them mentioning stats for these types of deliveries- a third of American births alongside a subpar maternal mortality rate in general. How I wish a resource like 360 Mama Guide to C-section Recovery had been available to me! It would have assuaged my fears and prepared me for short term care and long term management of my scar and abdomen. The structure of the book is straightforward, starting with explanations of the types of c-sections, how to prepare (both your body and home), and the post-op care. Each chapter provides a firsthand account from mothers to help connect the content. The information is written in a way that makes it accessible to non-medical folks like me. It will prepare readers for thoughtful conversations with their doctors and medical teams, and loved ones. There is such great advice here from harvesting colostrum at 36 weeks to extensive scar management to physical exercises and nutrition. Knowledge is power! I think this would be an excellent read for anyone preparing to give birth!

As a mom of two, both being c sections, this was a very insightful book.

This is a fantastic and comprehensive all in one guide for C-Section recovery. The video links and personal story additions were excellent. As someone who is pregnant and wanting to know all of the possible information this was informative and incredibly easy to digest. I would recommend this to any pregnant person out there!

As a mum of a now 5 year old who was born via c-section, this book is something I wish I could have read years ago. It's a great reference point for all parents, whether you're pregnant, have recently become parents, are planning a vaginal birth or aren't even first-time parents. It goes into a great depth of detail about expectations, processes, and aftercare. This is a must read if you're pregnant - we don't always get the birth we plan but being informed will help in so many ways. I loved the information around aftercare and scar massage, and will be implementing some of these techniques in my daily life. It was also really helpful to see information about exercise in this guide. Often we are so keen to return to our pre-baby bodies, but aren't aware there are exercises we should avoid as they can hinder our healing journey. A great book!
